Thank you for this amazingly helpful video!! I was in a pinch with all car shops closed on a Saturday evening and no one to replace my battery for me. I eventually found a replacement battery and decided to see if I could find a video to help guide me in installing it. For my first car battery change this was the perfect video. I appreciate you taking the time to film and post it, you are a life saver!!!

Excellent video....I was going to have the battery place install it, but why pay them the extra money. I too am a fan of Interstate Batteries.

Thank you Jim. I just changed out my battery per your instructions. Very easy and thanks for the detail about not letting socket wrench touch anything, getting a spark was a fear. LOL no sparks or shock 😊. My positive connection uses a shim. And no battery box style cover, just side supports with 11mm nuts. Easy-peasy.

Just for some info......Coulnt you just hookup a 9V small battery to the cigarette lighter socket to maintain your radio presets! Thanks....Jim

It didn’t look like you connected the jump pack before the job. Older hondas had a security code on the radio you needed to worry about. I always thought that was stupid. Is the security code no longer an issue? Also, they sell an obd saver that you can back feed the car through the OBD port. What is your feeling about this apposed to using the accessory port. I appreciate your taking the time to show jobs which while may be easy for some aren’t for all. You share valuable information. Hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

In 2012s, they dont need it. It automatically recognizes the car it was in.

Question: my check engine light is on due to a small evap leak - I changed the gas cap. My inspection is coming due. Is it all the same to reset the light by disconnecting the battery or do I need my mechanic to reset it with their code gizmo? Thanks

Usually the lid is not screwed tight enough- get another lid- mine is generic- takes 24 hours to reset itself
Turn till it clicks or same problem
