Brother you are the reason why I have a 250 bottle collection of fragrances to this day, I started watching you about 5 years ago and started collecting and now I absolutely love it as a hobby. Salute
Please advise the following... Shower first before applying. Using any scent instead of showering will let people know you did not bathe first, and the scent/body odor will leave a terrible smell throughout the day.
I would have to disagree. My friend was running late from the week long camping trip in the summer after not showering for a week despite hiking, jogging etc in the summer heat. He sprayed some cologne and rushed to the wedding. He said he was treated like a king. People gracefully got out of his way when he passed by and he got his very own table at the reception dinner. How's that for respect?
@@treasurethetime2463 sorry, I stand by my statement, shower first, and then apply. Cologne can not mask body odor, especially in hot weather and after activities as you described.
The OG Chrome from Azzaro, and most of its flankers are super under rated, and affordable scents for anyone who just want a cologne that works. Salute OG!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Great advise Jeff, the problem nowadays is you cannot get a sample of the top scents in stores ... Only the ones they want to promote ... You have to seek to large city stores and its a real effort.... Back in the day free samples 💚
Gentlemen. Here's a life hack I use and use often. Figure out the ones you want and go to Scent Split to buy the decants. I suggest the smallest bottle being the .9ml to purchase. You can get pretty good use out of them. Prices vary. Here's why I started using them. Everybody loves Aventus. It's a great cologne. I was watching a certain female reviewer with curly hair, and great...eyes! One of her recommendations was Arabian Oud Resala, so I bought a decant of that as well. I friggin love that one! More than the Aventus. Tommy Iomi Monkey from Xerjoff is well reviewed, but I'd never spend the money on it unless I got a huuge discount. It does absolutely nothing for me. Saved me a bunch of money by getting the decant. Then when ready for the big bottles, I will shop Jomashop or Maxaroma to save some of my hard-earned money. Some of this stuff gets expensive...
I like the mixture of colognes that you talk about. Guys think every bottle should be $500 when in fact you can still get a nice cologne for $50-$100 for a number of occasions.
Two of my favorite colognes to wear at a gym or anywhere it will be indoors is, clinic happy for men, and Chanel Allore sport! Both grate for the office or a gym workout! They are both citrus and won’t offend people!
Great tutorial on choosing and when to wear colognes, O.G. I would add when to put on cologne, which is after a shower or bath. After showering, I recommend using a moisturizer or moisturizing lotion to maintain the skin's moisture without absorbing the cologne. Then I place petroleum jelly on the pulse points where you spray, so the cologne lasts much longer and projects better. As for what fragrances I use, I code my fragrances by season and use 10 -- seven colognes from the World of Chris Collins, and three from Jo Malone. Here is my lineup: Winter - Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka; Chris Collins Harlem Nights Spring - Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin; Chris Collins Oud Galore Summer - Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt; Chris Collins African Rooibos Fall - Chris Collins Autumn Rhythm; Chris Collins Renaissance Year-Round Formal - Chris Collins Kingmaker for the fall and winter; Chris Collins Vide Cor Meum for the spring and summer.

@TheStyleOG: I agree, different colognes for different situations. I definitely test before i buy to avoid disappointments. Great video! You letting the beard grow thicker...Nice
Good evening. Question for you regarding the same subject matter but with fragrance body washes & lotions (if anyone hasn't bought it up previously)? Thanks for the video btw. ✌️🏾
This channel has helped me out so much getting my style together. Appreciate you for all the game you give us. Sidenote: What style of shirt is that you're wearing in the video so I can add something to my collection?
Finally, Nautica Voyage getting some respect. I know it's not the way you'd do it, but I've used it as a one-size-fits-all for years, and I still get compliments. I don't know that I'll ever change.
I see that beard getting thick good Sir. Looks good on you! Good thing you're out here giving great tips and advice. (I have been wearing fragrances since I was in middle school so I would like to think I'm well versed😂). Keep giving us these great videos good Sir.
Once again, I have learned something. I really didn't know about the different concentrations of cologne. I can remember being in 5th grade and my uncle left a bottle of Quorum Eau De Toilette. Now I know why the cologne wore off by lunchtime. I used to put more on thinking that it wouldn't wear off so soon. 😂. Thanks for solving that mystery. Salute, my Brother!
The jacket is 🔥🔥🔥 anyone know where it’s from??? Also great video! I came across your videos around 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since. My collection isn’t as deep as others. I’m around 11 bottles now. I kind of hit all marks on different occasions. There’s still some heavy hitter colognes that I want to get but there’s some really good niche colognes out there too that I like
Can someone please 🙏 make a shared Google spreadsheet with columns of occasion, name, brand, price, notes, and links to buy from Amazon or other , thanks 😁
Hi OG, where did you get the jacket it’s 🔥 Can you provide a link for that exact color way? You should start providing links to the outfits you have on in your videos. I’ve been watching you for about 4 years now. I’ve worked on myself a lot, and I owe it all to you and the Godfather KS. I really miss that guy.
I like that outerwear you rocking where did you get it from? I definitely wanna pick that up especially if i can get different colors.. thank again you've helped improve my clothing and fragrance game..
I respect you OG but I don’t sissyspray. Perfume dependent of course but trust me no one is tripping on my sillage because I spray the good stuff only 😅
Cologne enhance your "scent" in certain situations. I wouldn't recommend it every day but for important situations. Natural body odor is fine IF you practice good hygiene.
@rellyrell043 there's always a high chance someone will avoid a person if their cologne is not something they like. I used to wear it all the time, now I rarely ever wear it
@didamnesia3575 if it's a high quality fragrance you literally need like 1-2 spray around the neck area. I get what your saying. I haven't had a bad experience as much I only wear cologne for outings and important things. I work in chemistry lab, so I like a little scent but nothing to strong. Usually body wash does the trick for work days.
I think this is the only thing I disagree with you on. I think colognes are not attractive at all. I think most colognes stink, and that women are not into it that much. I know others disagree of course but that’s just my opinion. Please keep up the excellent advice otherwise!
I get where you are coming from. I think a lot of people don't know how to wear cologne. And put too much on. I wear my light so it's not to overpowering. Not all cologne is created equal so you do have some that just don't smell good.
@ yes, you make a good point. It’s the people that overdo it is who comes to my attention so much because they are wearing so much! I understand if it’s the right kind and if it’s a smaller amount, it could be a good thing. But I just want to steer clear of colognes!
Finally, someone who gives an excellent tutorial on colognes. Great job.
I can see you’re letting the beard grow out thicker, breaking 2025 with a new look. Great video and salute 👍🏾
Yes, a change of pace!
