Disagree on the Cross Bag . I'm not walking around with a brief case or small bag . In this crazy world we are in , in need my hands " free " , & my head on a swivel . That Cross Body bag can be flipped to the back of my light jacket /Vest / sweater when it doesn't need to be seen . That Cross Body is the move at ATM/Bank runs . I have a small one & a regular size one with RIF pockets . Keys/Cash/Fobs/etc .. No bulging pockets .
Great advice! I'm glad I was a teenager in the 90's and already rocked all baggy everything. That's out of my system and I have no desire to go back to it.
We, older Brothers, can Never go wrong staying with the classics. Being fashionable doesn't necessarily mean keeping up with today's trends. Thanks, O.G. You keep it Classy , Bro ❤
Only 1 have a problem with is the cross body bag… I wear it when I ride my motorcycle, and to Disney… I don’t think a messenger bag will work in those settings
The bag works in some instances. Traveling, theme parks, movie theater, hikes, etc. There are some bags that allow you to maintain a nice clean sleek profile. While there’s others that are bulky, with logos etc. those are a no go.
I agree with the cross body bag. I don't carry many things. Wallet, keys, cellphone, lip balm. Reminds me of a man purse. If that's your thing, then cool.
Yeah, but if you're trying to wear somthing refined like Chino's, all that stuff in your pockets is going to cause your pockets to bulge out & ruin the clean lines of the pants
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 That’s Why I Wear Fitted Jeans And White Air Force 1s And White Tees All My Old Clothes I Gave Them To Family Members Thanks For The Update Go Philly 🦅
I agree with most of your suggestions (I have a couple of tactical sling bags that I use for a reason) The only issue that I have with your videos is that that pics that you use for examples of what to wear has guys who are very slim. I would appreciate it if you had slightly larger men as models. Keep up the good advice.
I mostly agree however I've recently sinned and started wearing oversized t shirts after saying I would never.. I like them because of the roominess and lack of sweat patches especially on a hot day.
Slightly roomier t shirts can look better than slightly too small t shirts on a lot of guys in my opinion. I've seen a lot of middle aged guys wearing t shirts that are too small and it just emphasizes their bellies and makes them look like a pack of hot dogs. I have also recently purchased some larger t shirts and it feels great and doesn't look too sloppy if you know how to pair it with complimentary clothes.
Sup OG, i sadly had a surgery for a thyroid cancer and i gained weight, so i'm tall about 185cm (6ft) and 130kg (286 lbs) and i love jeans (yeah, almost 44 years old but still love them). Now, the question: in your opinion i need to take a smaller one to dress under belly with a belt or a large one at belly button level (belt or suspenders in this case?)? Thank you so much, i appreciate any help ;) P.S. I love your different look ;)
I dont know about the crossbody bag my G... Just got back off a trip from St. Lucia and walking around with 7" shorts I need my crossbody for phone and other things lol. Now on trips a North Face crossbody is a must. But yes in casual everyday activities probably not.
In general. men have a style not follow fashion. What looks good on one may not come off the same for another, knowing one's own body is key, if you have managed to stay in shape a good fitted outfit works, but don't live in the past mentally and think you can still rock gear that you use to wear 15-20 plus years ago.
@devonmitchell5294 I got mine years ago, nice peacoat style I guess, but since I was a maintenance guy used to be more casual, now close to retire the change is coming
Another awesome video by Style OG! I pray and hope your Philadelphia Eagles destroy Kansas City in the Super Bowl. I've been a Buffalo bills fan for 23 years, and I still love them even though we they lost. The Bills played awesome this season. 😊
I love how you shown the short shorts brand I own, I know their photos. Granted I am a fit guy and I wear it well. I'm a very simple styled man. I wear their 4" casually. 7" I wear to work. I feel you have to be a certain build for the 4"
Good stuff O.G., but I have a question for you. As an "old man" with flat feet and cranky knees, any suggestions to replace the comfort of the dad-sneakers? I get it on the fashion side for sure, but I'm a man that may go on a date and walk a mile+ at a car show, museum, etc.. I find the usual fashion sneaker too rigid and hurts my feet after many steps. But a Brotha doesn't want to be sporting some diabetic looking shoes either just or comfort!

Asa 54 year old man, who has dropped over 100 pounds over the past year, your advice is on point.
Keep it up!
Great job. Do you mind sharing what did you do to lose the weight?
My girlfriend loves the way i dress. I usually wear sweatsuits and gym clothes. But my wife told me i need to dress like grown man.
Be safe bro 😂😂

They have holster cross body bags. I think it boils down to personal choice.
@@gregoryjefferson6311 I guess it depends on the style. I want one that has a holster.
Great advice! I'm glad I was a teenager in the 90's and already rocked all baggy everything. That's out of my system and I have no desire to go back to it.
I pretty much changed my whole wardrobe...Saaalute to you OG

Thanks, O.G. You keep it Classy , Bro ❤
Always Informative OG. 🦅🦅🦅
Appreciate that!
Agree with everything besides the crossbody bag. Feel like the bags you suggested would take away from the fit.
I do prefer a low profile sneaker, over the chunky ones. The Puma suede, and the Adidas gazelle, are good choices.
I like the classics too.
Shirts with oversized logos, baggy pants, and the "dad shoes."
Dad shoes? What are those?

I appreciate all of this…I’m stuck in the clothing issues of dressing casual to dressing office casual, thank you 🙏🏾
Great advice good Sir! I've always dressed with a sense of classic man with a side of smooth casual! Another outstanding video!!!
Thank you kindly!
Bravo, sir.
You nailed some of the pet peeves I see regularly, and I’m sure others would agree, OG!!

I said "hi" to my 40's 18 months ago. Your videos got me rubbing my hands together like Birdman. Keep up the good work big bro!
Only 1 have a problem with is the cross body bag… I wear it when I ride my motorcycle, and to Disney… I don’t think a messenger bag will work in those settings
Yup.
I like that Beanie, saw a nice one with a little leather logo on the side

Offbody carry works too
@ exactly.
Thank you sooooo much on the needed information
Good stuff. And I see you mention Koio sneakers. My favorite! 💯
You're really rocking the beard OG! Looks good!
Thanks!
Mr. OG, that beard is on point! Salute!!!
Thanks!
Totally agree. We should embrace the age and wear the classic styles reflecting the years of experience and leave the trends to the young guns
I agree with the cross body bag. I don't carry many things. Wallet, keys, cellphone, lip balm. Reminds me of a man purse. If that's your thing, then cool.

Solid advice, Jeff. I wore a mesh shirt when I was a Junior in high school. Looked good. However, if you wore a trend once leave it in the past

All of these on point. I used to hit Zara but now their inventory is all baggy and unsophisticated. (I say it’s for guys that don’t work out).

Idk about giving up my clunky dad shoes. My Adidas Alphabounce cloudfoams might be the most comfortable shoes i ever owned.
i love how all the poor examples are on the random models, but the correct way is displayed by the host 👍
Slim stacked is a nice cut for all

Thank you Sir for all your inspiration

Schott jackets are a classic.

but since I was a maintenance guy used to be more casual, now close to retire the change is coming
I love that blazer

I really enjoyed the bodywash episode...I have added a few of your suggestions to my daily grooming and my wife loves them...salute
That is awesome!
100% in agreement.
Appreciate the feedback!
Great advice, never be the loudest or brighset in the room, subdued colors and clothing, and you will compliment yourself.

Appreciate the love for the Bills, they really had an amazing season!
Right there with you, brotha. It should've been the Bills, but the Mahomes-loving referee machine wasn't about to let that happen...
Totally agree 👍🏾
Salute!
The messenger bag doesn't work as well as crossbody bag for EDC
how does a bag with more room not work as well?
@TheStyleOG off body carry, also known as EDC, works best when the item can be accessed quickly. A larger bag makes quick access more difficult.
@@chumps7974 makes sense

OG made me switch my style. Thank you. I'll be 35 in March
You're part of the OG club now!
As a lawyer and an O.G I never wear sneakers. I always use leather shoes.
OGs swag rock🫵🏾
I agree. Clothing made from shiny and/or sheer fabrics are typically off-putting on men of any age.
Indeed!
Good video!
Some OGs don’t know how to move with their age.
Thanks!
I definitely agree about the dad gym shoes, I prefer some all white Reebok classics.
Classic!
What brand is that at 7:40. I like it as the shade of blue really fits a person (me) of colour.

Thank you so much for touching on those bags bro. I’m 38 and I’m tired of seeing grown men with a “Man Bag” that honestly looks like a purse.
