here is a little story about how pro Palestinian destroy Palestinians jobs ( u can look it up ) - so the Soda stream company for example - use to be on the West Bank, majority of the workers were - u guess Palestinians - because of Israel working laws - the Palestinians went under the same umbrella - getting full right as Israeli workers , meaning same wage, same pension, same 401K like, Social security benefits... basically making 3 time more money then any other Palestinian in the West Bank, then came the Pro Palestinian pressure to move the factory as its in the West Bank, so the moved it down south of Israel and all the Palestinians been fired, loosing all of the benefit , now in the PA - they don't get anything, no Pension, no Social security, just cash for a day work... Supporting boycott is destroying the only work the Palestinians gain, making them more poor and create the opposite .unless thats what the left communist wants

soda stream put a branch in WB and employed mostly palestinian workers who had their salary doubled and tripled. that was until 2018, when the BDS movement "successfully" closed this branch. the BDS success is taking away palestinian work and salaries and it doesn't do anything to harm Israel
Irony of ironies. There are 300,000 plus Palestinians living in UN camps in Lebanon. These Palestinians some of whom have lived in the camps for a couple of generations cannot receive Lebanese citizenship. Therefore their food, healthcare and education is provided by the UN.
The irony is Hezbollah who is helping Hamas against Israel is a political and military power in Lebanon is doing nothing to get the Palestinians in Lebanon, Lebanese citizenship.

@@bella-hi4oo Syria is a nightmare without end. Their civil war has been going on for years. 600,000+ dead and a 1,000,000+ wounded with no end in sight. The Syrian civil war makes what`s happening between Israel and Hamas look like a small gang war.
As various pundits have said if this was a war between Arab Muslims no one would be paying attention to it like in Syria. It`s only relevant because the Jews are involved.

So funny! I was staying in an anti-Israel neighborhood in the UK, where many shops were displaying BDS posters after Oct 7.
Some were barbars, a shisha/vaping store, phone stores, Polish delicatessens, butchers, etc.
I stopped purchasing from these stores, and it seems so did hundreds of others too. I noticed the barbar had maybe one or two customers, the delicatessens and butchers were rather empty, the shisha store's products hadn't shifted for over a month.
It wasnt long when I noticed that most of the stores removed the posters. By the end of two months not a single BDS poster remained! 😂

Also I'd like to give a congratulations on the own goal of these protesters boycotting SodaStream after Sodastream went out its way to provide Palestinians with Jobs and developer industry in the Westbank and foster relationships with Palestinians and Israelis working together side by side.
So basically what you're saying is: boycotting SodaStream will harm Palestinians because of fewer job opportunities, supporting SodaStream will also harm Palestinians because illegal apartheid white colonizer genocide and either way it's probably Israel's fault.
These people caused 500 Palestinians to lose their jobs, and they probably don't even know it.
And remember, the result was that Sodastream moved their factories to Israel proper, with almost no impact to Sodastream but causing many Palestinians to lose their jobs.

All his four grandparents were Ashkenazi Jews, both of his grandfathers, maternal and paternal, were Rabbis (and their wifes daughters of Rabbis), his paternal uncle, Samuel Marx (actually Abraham ben Mordechai Halevi) succeeded his grandfather as the Chief-Rabbi of Trier - it doesn't get more Jewish than that.
His parents converting and assimilating - like thousands of Jews did at the time just so they were allowed to study and get a degree at a University - didn't make them less Jews.
Often times the wifes wouldn't even convert to Christianity (guess why).
How do I know? My great-great-grandfather was one of them, he was baptized at the age of 19, so he would be allowed to study law at the time (he converted, his wife however did not - all their 12 children were baptized) and he was a fellow student of Karl Marx - he knew him well.
