The Kicks is Nissan's newest sub-compact crossover SUV, having replaced the Juke in 2018. It's a vast improvement over the Juke in looks, practicality and tech! But how does it compare to last week's featured car, the Hyundai Kona? Both cars are quite similar in size and cost about the same. As it turns out, the Kicks excels in certain areas over the Kona, but loses to the Kona in others. Watch the video to find out how these cars stack up agains each other, and which one might be the right choice for you!

The kicks does not replace the juke! Europe actually have the new 2021 Nissan Juke. And it’s actually pretty nice car tbh.

Just FYI the Kona also has that hard security back panel and the Kona has more horsepower than the Kicks

U look like a pocket size wolverine........lol U could do the reviews for dwarfs & sub crossovers! You trash the lack of interior quality & then flip & say they stepped up there game in the same area? Why would a little fella like u need a bigger engine? Compensating?

Interior QUALITY is poor. Interior DESIGN is improved over previous years. Yes, I need more power because I'm compensating for lack of height and miniature gentleman bits. The kicks was too small for me, I require a very large lifted truck to prove how manly I am.
Have fun in your mom's basement!!

@@Autocitysd we don't have basements in Florida...... lol
The hardened plastic which feels cheap & looks a bit odd actually will remain looking like new verses even expensive leather which again I'm referring to Florida weather where heat & humidity crack the good stuff but can't hurt the cheap stuff in the long run once your ready to trade it in. And I must apologize, I may have been under the influence of Dr prescription THC which allowed the humor in me to come out. Why your a full sized wolverine!!! I just bought the new Hyundai Kona Limited for my teenage daughters first vehicle. Its worth noting that the Turbo causes some lurching when it initially takes off if your just slowly beginning into traffic because the dbl clutch tranny shifts quickly to offset the turbos responsiveness. To solve that issue just put it in sport mode & the rpms run slightly higher which removes the slack. The turbo 1.6 is a little beast. Cheers.

@@Autocitysd I purchased over the 30 years of federal government contracting several vehicle personal & business. The South Korean Kona lacks the common expected perks like CD player & even GPS is re- stricted to the very ultimate level. ($33k), Other countries are not as up to date with some preferred American technology & the millennium generation wants & don't wants.....lol
I felt like a fossil when they said no CD player or gps in a $32,000 vehicle. But, today's kids use there phone & the apps to store & transfer downloads for entertainment. I did find a surprise however when I put the safety features to the test like assisted brakes. I purposely drove right in to the back of a semi truck @ 65 mph! The car refused to let me crash & engaged the front brakes & shut the car down! Now, put that test in your comparisons & your hits per video will definitely go up!!! the power of the 1.6L turbo is rated @ 0-60 --- 6.9 sec. That is very conservative. The car will outrun my 5.6l titan, 5.7 l hemi & my 2.5l Altima all 0-60! I'd say comfortably 0-60 in 5.9. Its a little beast. The sport style front seats I love. But, if your 300lbs & just 5'-5" your not likely to enjoy the seats @ all. The rear seating room is comparable to a 328i BMW or even a 335 series. But, it all depends on the leg room the front driver & passenger needs. They do need to work on road noise by which the radio on low volume is your best solution. @ the upper two trim levels separate temperature controls should be standard. The front led lighting by itself is as good as some everyday drivers head lights. so the ability to see @ night is thumbs up! Its the perfect college students first car IMHO offering apple, MP3, seris w/subscript, & safety tech to stop the car in danger & alarms for lane crossing & more. It ranked @ the very top in all directions for crash impacts with 5 stars. KIA soul is ranked #1 due to safety features, roomy, & the edge given due to offering the 201hp standard. The Limited model I purchased for my daughter has the same rating with the turbo! Once it has 100,000 mi I'll be glad to share what I really think about Kona, the service department & more specifics. Cheers!
