In India it starts for only Rs.17999 which is around £180 which is very inexpensive. But in the UK, £279 makes it £100 more expensive than the indian version.
Considering Poco F3 is around the corner(it's only priced at £329) buying Realme 8 pro doesn't make any sense now at least in UK. You get Snapdragon 870, 120 Hz refresh rate, Good Amoled display, Fast UFS 3.1 storage, DDR5 RAM etc - overall flagship performance with more than decent cameras. Make a wise decision, Happy shopping 👍👍
But its stepback from realme 7 pro 7 pro 65watt stereo speakers stabilization in 4K eis selfie 32mgx 8 pro 50watt single loudspeaker no eis in 4K selfie 16mgx 😱😱😱
108mp 😔. I really wish manufacturers would put more effort into lens technology and making lower MP cameras with bigger native pixel size. A good ~20mp sensor with a great glass in front would yield better results than these 108mp shooters.
Larger pixel camera are more expensive, I mean you could spend more than a GS 21 on a large pixel camera. In a phone where space is limited and the image is down to software processing, more pixels capture more information. If you're planning on editing and cropping (alot of that these days), more pixels help. Where high mp counts really shine are at night and when taking lower mp shots with pixel binning.
Hiya. The Realme 8 Pro's camera specs (and hardware specs in general) seem a mixture of upgrade and downgrade vs the 7 Pro. But in terms of the rear camera/s would you still go for the 8 Pro? Or would you rather go for the Galaxy A52 5G? (If you have one or what you read so far). Comment please. Cheers.
Yay finally embargo done. Personally would trade the 108 MP camera and in display fp to side/back so they could shift budget for a better chipset, but let's see if the price is right in Indonesia.
For someone like me who doesn’t really care for the camera (I don’t take many photos), is it worth it to “upgrade” to this Realme 8 Pro or can I still go with the Realme 7 Pro? I ask because I’ve seen many reviews, and most of them say the only real difference between the two is the camera.
The problem is I don’t care about camera I rarely take photos, and all the phones right now focus on it . I’d like to see a phones with a great display above average processor and ok camera .
I'm looking to change my current phone soon and after reading the Which? Magazine review of the Realme 7 5G, I was drawn to looking more at Realme phones. Which? suggested a RRP for the Realme 7 5G of £279, (which of course can be improved upon), but when you find that the same price is being quoted for newer launches, it draws you in a bit more! I have a couple of important questions which I can't find answers to in the specifications. I currently have a Huawei PSmart 2019. I don't want to upgrade to another Huawei phone because of the security controversy between the US, UK and other governments with this alleged Chinese state owned/controlled company and the fact that Google are decreasing support for the operating system and apps. Which? have also advised against this. Realme is also a Chinese company I am led to understand. Are there any similar issues we should know about? I'm very wary of frying pan and fire scenario! Are Google fully supporting Realme and are they allowing full updates to their apps from the Play Store? Also in the past, I have problems in my area with poor/intermittent network coverage. At home at least I have been able to enjoy Wi-Fi Calling with the Huawei, which has greatly alleviated this problem, but previous Sony models I have owned relied heavily on app based versions of Wi-Fi calling. Many of these apps are now discontinued, rendering these phones virtually unusable for their basic requirement, which is making and receiving calls. So, a silly question in this day and age I know, but is the Realme 8 Pro fully capable of Wi-Fi Calling? I hope you or someone can answer these two important questions before I decide to go ahead and make my purchase. Incidentally, the logo on the back of the phone wouldn't bother me. As soon as I get mine, I'll be slipping it in a flip case! As far as the speaker is concerned, I’ll either be using a set of earphones or hooking up to some Bluetooth speakers.
Still same processor and display. Only camera got upgraded, but even the cheaper Redmi Note 10 Pro already has the same 108MP camere. Tell me how is it supreme?
Can't believe the 9 pro on one plus has a lackluster 2mp monochrome camera for the price range. Don't like these filter lenses and these stupid macro lense
I would no doubt recommend the redmi note 10 pro if you're looking toward affordability realme 8 pro cannot compete with neither that nor the other poco x3 pro (which is also a great deal) or f3

Absolutely. £50 off that with early bird too and I'll be ordering 👍
yes, a year old low mid range chipset? realme dropped the ball and poco picked it up and ran with it.
Miui has bugs..
@@alexandrgr Every UI has bugs , less or more !
Not just that... You still have the poco x3 pro and note 10 pro options below that... Realme 8 pro it's a wrap...
Realme 6 pro - 720G
Realme 7 pro - 720G
Realme 8 pro - 720G
Good Job 👍
Same design as Oppo f17 of last year 😂😂😂
The camera in this price is impressive 👍
Not really, the cheaper Redmi Note 10 Pro already using the same 108MP sensor.
More megapixels doesn't mean better camera
No, reusing same chipset for 3 generation is just cheap

so many vids in a week and I’m not complaining.
Seeing 👀 first review here in this channel ⚡Realme 8 pro 🆚 Redmi Note 10 Pro / Pro Max 🌟 comparison is a MUST 👍🏻
This phone has no chance against similarly price Redmi Note 10 Pro and Poco F3, but would like to see all three compared in one of your video.

Even if same price as 7 Pro, it is still not good value when we compare to phones like Poco F3, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Samsung A52 4G.
@@notagain2856 true, was almost certain to go for the POCO F3. But no headphone jack, I like my jack damnit
@@bleepbloop_b i think the poco x3 pro should be fine
Is there NFC? It's not mentioned anywhere. How good is fingerprint unlock?
Are the speakers stereo or mono? Conflicting reviews
It's a single mono speaker I've heard from every reviewer, also surprised to hear this guy says it is stereo. It's not!

@@demankenneth5499 I did (go for the 7 Pro)....and I’m loving it. :)
Woah. I didn't expect that 108mp from Realme.

get samsung note 10+ 5g w/ less price w/ still feel flagship level even in 2022 or a timeless phone

Most other reviews say single speaker 🤔
stereo speakers?
When will you review the redmi note 10 pro???
Where is the poco f3 review?
I have a BIG question and it simply is, WHY ARE A LOT OF MID RANGE PHONES ABANDONING TELEPHOTO CAMERAS ?!
Earphone Jack and expandable storage?

"108MP"
Funny that a Samsung S10's 12mp camera will smash it. This fake-o marketing needs to stop.
Another Flagship Phone By REALME 🔥🔥🔥
hell nah, that is not a flagship...
Call recorder available ?
That's huge ass writing on the side is definitely of turn off but it definitely has some cool recording effects
I think Realme made a smart move with going for 6.4 inch instead of xiaomi going for 6.7 inch, its just to big imo.
First here ASBYT. Great job!
So Redmi note 10 pro is better in term of everything
You sure it's stereo speakers?
What's your summoner name (mcoc)?
About half the video was about the camera, im not a photographer or video maker, so I don't really care that much the video quality
The Redmi note 10 pro is cheaper but packs a lot of awesome spec
In 8 gb ram it's more expensive and software its bugi :p
I'm always suspicious of camera lens with 108mp.
I have a 120 hz on my Samsung note 20 ultra andxive never noticed the difference

realme 7pro is already 720g not gud upgrade just for 108 mp because there is other brand has 108 mp w/ a higher specs
Note 10 pro eats it for breakfast.
They manage to fit a huge 108mp camera into their midrange smartphone. Samsung and apple should be ashamed.
