My mom is very religious and I said something about a good looking guy and she told me about a crush she had for a German guy lol. She is 70 now we laughed so much and it was hilarious. So if the genders were switched it won’t be a problem.
My 19 year old daughter just came out to me recently. I’m not gonna lie it was a lil shocking at first. I have always had my thoughts that she may be but a week prior to her telling me she said mom I’m the token straight girl of the group. So I was like ok she’s not. Then a week later she comes to bawling and tells me she is gay, we hugged and fell to the floor on our knees she has been having a lot of mental health issues and I do attribute it to her not owning her truth it had to be hard for her. I will always love her and accept her for who she is. It may not be what I wanted (don’t come at me) but I love her all the same. We are super close and she has always been honest with me so I know it was a huge relief for her.

I think it exists in Christianity as well, but I'm not sure. Muslims are naturally more committed to the teachings of their religion than Christians.
