tested out a mount and adapter from Sky Fire Aerial. This company markets mounts and adapters for a wide range of controllers and touchscreens; the one I tested was for the Autel Evo Nano / Lite controller. To make this test even more challenging I matched up the Sky Fire Aerial controller with the 1.37 pound Tripltek 8 Pro tablet.

Great presentation. I'm sold on this "bad boy". I've got the same drone and controller and just bought the Tripltek 8 Pro. I NEED THIS BRACKET. Thanks again for a very informative review. Marc Trainor.

Hi Jeff- you did a great job previewing the Sky Fire mount. My fear was that it is a real bulky item. But your demo showed it folds down to a manageable size. I have nice soft bag for Evo Lite Plus and my Tripletek 8 so it will fit. Also got the DJI mount for my Air2s/ mini2 RC. Looking forward to getting it. Liked and subscribed. 👍

Wish I could figure out how the plug is accessed on top with mount installed. Does the cable have to be removed still with the mount installed and the antenna retracted? I have looked at the photos online too and the cable is never shown.

I have one. The mount leaves a lot of room around the USB plugin area. Not sure how it's any kind of issue as it really doesn't have anything to do with the antennas. Hope that helps.
