- ln this video you can join me as I fly fish a small lake in NW Wisconsin for largemouth bass from my float tube. I will show you how to set up a topwater fly rig as well as how to better manage a sink-tip streamer rig. I also catch several nice bass along the way, both on top and under the surface. As usual I hope you enjoy the video … if you will, please hit the subscribe button as well as the like button. Any questions can be sent to me via my website at www.flyfishing....

Brad,
You are welcome....it is some work, but hope that there are those out there that can get better results with some help...
Jeff
Another great video. Love that mono non slip. It makes a huge difference in your fly movement. Nice little lake to have some fun on. 👍👍👊
George,
the right knot surely makes a difference.....our lake is almost perfect and seldom too busy!
Jeff
That 3.5 lber was a beaut! Love your videos Jeff. Where in NW WI are you located?
No mans is a decent ice fishing lake as well👍
Going to be hard to get my fly line through the hole in the ice....?
Jeff
No no they crush topwater in the winter
Hi Jeff, I have a couple questions about fly fishing for Smallmouth outside of Bennett Springs. 1st... do you have a general area you target on the river?
2nd... what flies would you recommend for this time of year? Heading down next week.
Thank you!!!
For sure I like the niangua from the confluence of the spring all the way to Barclays. As for flies; check out my own trout candy fly on my site…tie in size 6 or even a 4. On the river an olive crayfish works well and lastly, try a black wooly with a sink tip 1 line.
@@jcarmichaelable I GREATLY appreciate the info! Thank you so much!!
I have the original u-boat I like it but I like yours are you sitting above the water
William,
I am sitting just above the water....and at times in the water. The newer models are very stable and safe...yet, a great craft to fish from...
Jeff
