@@izzyboot9408 if you think this was Ren being Ren then you don’t know Ren This is like a 4 out of 10 on the Ren scale, this was not Ren doing what Ren does best and that’s just keeping it real, anybody being objective would admit that, anyone who knows Ren’s ability can see this was sub par for Ren and it’s because he was 100% out of his comfort zone, that was very clear to see and it showed massively. Actually in the uk chrysanthemums represent happiness and longevity, fern represents sincerity towards others, shelter, hope, posterity, transformation, inspiration, awakening, renewal and hope. And olive brance peace
Ren said he took a week to reply because he's back in Canada getting medical treatment. If this is what he can do with no time and with bigger priorities I think Dotta was lucky Ren didn't have a chance to make beats too.
Right now, Ren is going through the toughest, most critical part of the treatment he's undergoing in Calgary, Canada. Putting a beat together is the most time-consuming stage of this kind of track, and Ren simply doesn't have much creative time on his hands right now. This video - entertaining and effective though it is - was probably done on his own with an SLR camera in the basement car park in his Calgary apartment block. I too would like to have heard a beat on this - Ren's backing tracks are always amazing - but cut the guy some slack. He's earned it.
That's what makes it killer is that even going through this tough time he still schooled Dotta and lifted him at the same time. He didn't just return fire... he ended the war. RiP Dotta
Is that true? That putting the beat together is the most time consuming part? I hadn't heard that. I would have thought it'd be the easiest part but I guess all the textures and layering and sampling?
Dotta had better bars and Ren STILL won, AND showed incredible humility and grace.. That's wild. Edit: But no, I will not go like and subscribe to him, Ren. Not until he throws those race cards into the fire and vows to never open another pack. If he flat out admits that he was clout chasing to get his name out there, and that he isn't going to be a dumb racist going forward, I'll be happy to support his talent.
Love the way Ren switched it up to end the drama on a positive. Knox already buried him, so instead of throwing more dirt on Ren did something different.
Ren was just once again doing what he is always doing: Giving us all a uniting and thought provoking message. And it connected because you just know he is a real one. If someone else would have said similar things but didn't have the receipts that he is genuine, it wouldn't be effective at all. But here it is, because it is him. And that message outshines everything else in my opinion and is bigger than any rap battle could be. But that is just me.
Ren is the winner hands down, not only brilliant but in the middle of his hospital treatment, didnt need a beat just in a car park somewhere, there is no question he is amazing and to write that and perform it in a one take just shows how talented he is, put Dotta in a car park and ask him to produce something like that, we all know how that would have turned out!!!!1
I actually totally agree with Flawd, Dotta's was a good track, some good rhyme schemes, then Ren did just enough to not lose, and the monologue at the end highlighted that perfectly, when he said to Dotta, "there you go I'm done, now take the spotlight I've put on you and roll with it. Grasp the opportunity". Everyone kinda won in the Dotta vs Ren battle. Totally unexpected, but definitely Ren. Enjoyed it all tbh. The Mice & Men bar hit deep though (The protagonist in the book is Lenny, a guy with a mental disability, who killed a woman accidently, by snapping her neck)
Yeah I agree, the thought and cleverness that Ren writes with is beyond next level. It's like he is playing chess with words, and seeing moves 20 moves ahead, just blends so effortlessly with easter eggs everywhere.
I love that you gave a non- biased response to this. You genuinely put all thoughts aside and took it in as somebody that appreciates battle rap and saw all of this for what it truly was.❤
the bagpipes at the end you mentioned is commonly a song played at funerals. its been played live at every single one of my relations funerals in the past and will be when my time comes too.though im 1st generation of my family born in england, that track is pretty much part of my last rights, and so i will continue the tradition.but yeah that little bit at the end with the pipes playing is actually a great ending to a diss track when you get what the actual track represents.
"I once was lost but now im found, was blind but now I see" the lyrics to amazing grace that was on the bagpipes. Plus the flowers Ren had in the beginning, once again Ren tells us where this is going if you pay attention
REN trumped a Star Wars bar-2 syllables, with battlestar galactica-7 syllables. And that’s the difference. A lyrical monster versus a guy with limited skills. “ this isn’t a battle it’s a massacre”. I concur with that assessment.
I didn't really watch many reaction videos before discovering Ren. Ren's music really resonated with me in a way very few other artists have. I want to share Ren and see how others react to him. It doesn't seem to click with folks in my life the way it does for me, so instead I seek out internet strangers who have the same perspective.
This was a an awesome reaction man, I am biased, I love Ren, hence that’s why I’m here, but I’m swayed to change my mind now on how I see KD, thank you, I have been subscribed to your channel, I just put notifications on. Much respect, I hope your channel grows to where you want it to be and your future is bright Take care man Daz
Ren nailed it. Closed that coffin by sending his fan base to listen to the man he was dissn...poured cement in it by erasing the color story and covered the mausoleum by tracking the pipes And acapella battle rap always slays imho
My husband used to be called Lenny, he grew up in L.D. (80s term for Special Education, but it was worse back then) and I didn't understand th3 nickname until a few years ago. I love the movie/book now, but man kids can be mean.
Also for me as simple as it was video wise, Ren performed infront of a camera. No beat, just him. I good beat can in some ways make a flow easier, but this is banter for Ren, while he is going through his medical things a quick set up camera and do a diss, pick a brother up dust them down, hope they enjoyed the sport see you session. That for me is impressive, while Dotta had time to prepare there was no time constraint on his love letter (sorry I meant diss). It really doesn't matter a good fun banter back and forth. I appreciate your reactions.
you,re one of the most unbiased reactors i have come across and i have watched this track many many times , thank you for thinking this way , true Ren fan .
_"I destroy my enemy when I turn them into a friend"_ - Emperor Sigismond 1430 1) Dotta did a reaction vid praising Kujo Beat Down. 2) Dotta referred to Ren as _"My Ninja"_ when he was name-dropped in the beatdown. 3) Ren referred to him as _"a friend"_ Emperor Ren 😂
Love it bro! Keep it real no matter what! Ren def gets it, but you're right about Dotta's diss. Ren is the man for calling us to something better. The appologies were top tier
Have you checked out Dotta's subscribers? He has gone from 900 to 1600 at the time of writing, me one of them. For me he is nowhere near the level of either Knox or Ren, but he has an opportunity here. I am also convinced that Knox and Ren coordinated their stuff. When Ren switches, that is very similar to Knox's in patiently waiting. If Dotta is smart, he would work on a well produced track now to show who he wants to be apart from dissing and ride the wave. I really enjoyed your reaction, as always.
Ren told dotta he'd battle him, but it had to be a one take, etc.. that's when dotta dropped that video of himself in the booth, but all dotta did was recite the same diss track he dropped on ren... he didn't realize ren meant he wanted to do like a traditional battle rap, not a diss track.. because rens not really about dissing and tearing people down, he's about upping people..
Battle rap to me started as east vs. west, gang vs. gang, personal beef. It has turned into marketing oneself aka: Small vs. Big,. If we followed Ren's vision, 90% of diss battles would disappear and more collabs would take place. This is a double-edged sword, battles hone skills, collabs exalt messages. What is RAP? It is both in my opinion, but I believe we would have a more cohesive society if we promoted good messages and exposed truth, than tearing each other down.
If you really want to know HipHop and rap have their real musical roots farther back into the Persian empire where nobles would send the best lyricists to battle each other for bragging rights and tribute (money). Deep dive into musicology and a whole new world will open up.
Hip Hop was never about that. It really was a way to keep violence out of communities. If other things happened it was on a personal level. The rap battle scene is not at all fueled by hatred but for the love of hip hop.
You got to give him props. He went after someone that he knows he's going to get people looking at his stuff. But Ren I feel like is the wrong guy to go after because he's going to kill you with kindness and then just kill you with bars in his own artistic way.
I think you had a good reaction. I'm absolutely biased and have a thing for the type of wordplay Ren dishes, so I'm massively on board for his side. But, Kingdom Come was leagues above Crown. If Dotta's willing to put in the work, he can make a name for himself instead of trying to cheat code off the work of those ahead of him in the game. But he's gotta actually put in the effort and not play the race card and act like that's the reason other people are hitting and he isn't.
A little knowledge drop on amazing Grace playing on the bagpipes.. it's a traditional Scottish funeral song. He opened with it acknowledging Dotta's funeral.. and then killed him a second time with kindness and closed out with a 2nd funeral play. That's dope squared son!
I’m not familiar to battle rap but is it usual to show hate in comments on reactors channels as per dotta? I’m giving it to REN for being the bigger man
I thought these were both great. I had no idea who King Dotta was before these disses so they did their job. I like his sound and I'll probably listen to more. I already love Ren so I think you were spot on when you said we won. Thanks for the reaction!
This video shows your love for hip-hop Flawed. I haven't really seen any reaction channel give dotta the credit he deserves. But they also haven't been able to break it down the way you did. Props homie.

Dotta had one good line. Every line ran wrote was awesome. He was so good. He didn’t even write a beat. And then he had the class to turn around and say peace, not war we’re better than that.
Dotta had some good moments... And he's smart. He poked because he knew the traffic it would generate. Not a coincidence that he struck right after they both got a mil... Ren was cold too, and honest. Dotta can flow, he just needs to hone his craft and get heard. Props to both.
Was good to see, think he could of left it there, but think he did another diss on Knox, and I thought coulda and shoulda left it at that, but Dotta keeps race out of it, got enough divide in the world. Most fans respect the roots of hip hop culture, no matter what colour you are. Ren clearly does, it shines in everything he writes thats hip hop.
There’s no way to fault Ren in this altercation. He won by being the better person. His words can’t be put down and I agree with you totally I did go to Dottas and check it. That’s as far as I’m willing to go Here’s to love over hate. This is the real diss! Changing the landscape. That is what Ren does. It’s bad ass!
Holy SHIT! I just caught a double that i haven't seen any reactors catch! "You're butchering the culture, you ain't brewing kombucha" 😮 Kombucha requires a live culture (bacteria) to brew! 🤯
Ren all the way for me! Great reaction. Apart from Amazing Grace being played at funerals it's worth looking at the history of how it came about. I'd be surprised if Ren didn't know - knowing his attention to detail
I believe this was done in the parking garage at the hospital where Ren was in the middle of treatment. Just wanted to respect the culture and respond, and I'm happy that he respected the culture while staying true to himself
Give Ren another 10 minutes and he would have had a killer beat, but those 10 minutes were well spent on his new track coming soon. I really did enjoy your reaction and views and respect particularly for Ren, who lets be honest is One in a Billion.
I love the subtitles on you're channel, when you say I gotta give it to Ren, you're subtitles say I gotta give it to Ryan, and my hearing impaired ass was named Ryan by my mother, otherwise I would be Earl the 3rd.

Ren’s a lover not a hater at the end of the day, he would rather carry someone up the mountain with him than dig a grave for them at the foot of the mountain and push them off the mountain into that grave
I’ve really enjoyed watching this all play out. Learning about battle rap along the way.
@@izzyboot9408 if you think this was Ren being Ren then you don’t know Ren
This is like a 4 out of 10 on the Ren scale, this was not Ren doing what Ren does best and that’s just keeping it real, anybody being objective would admit that, anyone who knows Ren’s ability can see this was sub par for Ren and it’s because he was 100% out of his comfort zone, that was very clear to see and it showed massively.
I was just being honest in my assessment, I wasn’t going to blow smoke up his you know what just because it’s Ren, that would have been pointless and it serves nobody well to blow smoke up someone’s you know what.
He could have miles better and for all the reasons I gave, they all played a part to one degree or another and I guarantee Ren would be the first to hold his hands up and admit it.
Like I said, rap battles and straight rapping are very different disciplines, just because someone is good at swimming backstroke, doesn’t mean they are going to be as good doing the butterfly yet they are both just swimming at the end of the day.
I 100% stand by that he did a good job considering and that he would be more polished with experience, that he was clearly out of his comfort zone, you can’t say he wasn’t, you’re either being disingenuous or you just don’t know Ren if you trying to claim he wasn’t out of his comfort zone
Absolutely right.
@@Penddraig7His ass dude, you can say ass. And even with him being out of his comfort zone, it was a 10, period. Get that 4 shit out of here
Ren set the rules beforehand:
REN: You're such a flirt dotta. I wanna make it more interesting, let's do it live from memory so that there's no overdubbing to hide behind
DOTTA: I'ma be real with u, I'm like lil Wayne when it comes to remembering lyrics, I write alot alot..... but uhhh I mean we can be live together when they both drop or sum let the people decide
REN: cmon where's that warriors spirit!! I mean live as in filmed and not pre recorded. I promise
I'II remember just as many bars (=
DOTTA: if I can read off my phone I'm down &
Ren: Yeah fuck it lets go!
DOTTA: Bet that, we Gne have to set a time and date
REN: drop ur video anytime next week man and
ill come up with a reply!! I got a song to promote this week and I don't wanna hear you saying I'm not replying cause I'm scared cause I'm ready 2 goo ahaha. U seem like a worthy opponent
DOTTA: aye no lie my guy... Aside from what I said... As an artist and as an MC I respect u
ALOT my guy... Let's have fun
REN: likewise man but let's save the pudding till after the main course
DOTTA: 💯💯💯
The flowers rens holding. Fern-rebirth chrysanthemum-death olive branch-celebrate
When the end bagpipe's played, I thoought "Oh snap, he just killed this dude with kindness" lol
#RENegadesUnite ❤

Ren is the winner hands down, not only brilliant but in the middle of his hospital treatment, didnt need a beat just in a car park somewhere, there is no question he is amazing and to write that and perform it in a one take just shows how talented he is, put Dotta in a car park and ask him to produce something like that, we all know how that would have turned out!!!!1
Yeah and ask him to do it while he is sick and getting treatment.
@@kewlenjo219 Exactly!! LOL! Which there is no question who won because REN is on a whole completely different level!!!
Ren in a lane of his very own. Different class 🫡!
I think the bag pipes at the end was done purposely. Amazing Grace...Ren just showed how to have Amazing Grace for your fellow humans.❤
The bagpipes are neccecary! AMAZING GRACE! DUDE!
REN trumped a Star Wars bar-2 syllables, with battlestar galactica-7 syllables. And that’s the difference. A lyrical monster versus a guy with limited skills. “ this isn’t a battle it’s a massacre”. I concur with that assessment.
Nailed it, and very eloquently too haha x
Ren turned the diss into a kiss.
I didn't really watch many reaction videos before discovering Ren. Ren's music really resonated with me in a way very few other artists have. I want to share Ren and see how others react to him. It doesn't seem to click with folks in my life the way it does for me, so instead I seek out internet strangers who have the same perspective.
I’m in your same situation ❤️
Who Won? Hip Hop, The Culture! Ren shows us we're all winners. 😎❤️💛💚🖤✊🏿🇯🇲

The ending bag pipes concluded, this was your funeral.
This was a an awesome reaction man, I am biased, I love Ren, hence that’s why I’m here, but I’m swayed to change my mind now on how I see KD, thank you, I have been subscribed to your channel, I just put notifications on.
Much respect, I hope your channel grows to where you want it to be and your future is bright
Take care man
Daz
Ren nailed it. Closed that coffin by sending his fan base to listen to the man he was dissn...poured cement in it by erasing the color story and covered the mausoleum by tracking the pipes
And acapella battle rap always slays imho
The 'of mice and men' bar was pretty good. He killed dotta with kindness like george kills lenny with kindness.
...now I'm sad
Love of mice and men
My husband used to be called Lenny, he grew up in L.D.
Dotta said on is track he can rap without an instrumental, Ren rapped without an instrumental.
_"I destroy my enemy when I turn them into a friend"_
- Emperor Sigismond 1430
1) Dotta did a reaction vid praising Kujo Beat Down.
2) Dotta referred to Ren as _"My Ninja"_ when he was name-dropped in the beatdown.
3) Ren referred to him as _"a friend"_
Emperor Ren 😂
Love it bro! Keep it real no matter what! Ren def gets it, but you're right about Dotta's diss. Ren is the man for calling us to something better. The appologies were top tier
Did anyone else notice that the bagpipes at the end, that small bit, was "Amazing Grace" ?
I wanted a judgement until Ren stepped up and schooled us all!
Ren didn't kill him because he didn't want to. He was showing respect.
You kind of glazed over the hardest bar/diss on Ren's. The "Royal Flush" bit was awesome.
"Let's not lie!" and that's why it's even more incredible Ren was man enough to be like, "Hey , this guy is good! Check him out!"
Respect for you keeping it real ren and dotta were both filthy i grew up in the shit there diffrent ends of the spectrum but both such good rappers
People hate him because they are worried that the clout isn’t on themselves! Ren is real
You got to give him props. He went after someone that he knows he's going to get people looking at his stuff. But Ren I feel like is the wrong guy to go after because he's going to kill you with kindness and then just kill you with bars in his own artistic way.
cleaned up the mess left by knox... then complimented him. Ren's on another level lol
I’m giving it to REN for being the bigger man
I like that you gave your honest opinion!!! The whole rap battle thing was fun this week. Let's see what happens.
I thought these were both great. I had no idea who King Dotta was before these disses so they did their job. I like his sound and I'll probably listen to more. I already love Ren so I think you were spot on when you said we won. Thanks for the reaction!
calling ren garbage is objectively wrong
There is nobody but Ren who can CREMATE a rapper with SPOKEN WORD POETRY in 10 MINUTES
YES! You are the first reactor to get the title of Rens Dis! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This video shows your love for hip-hop Flawed. I haven't really seen any reaction channel give dotta the credit he deserves. But they also haven't been able to break it down the way you did. Props homie.
💯Idk what people like about this Ren dude tbfh hot garbage
My first ?battle experience. I vote that we won. Loved your video, helped me understand, focus in on specific bits and enjoy both on a whole other level.
Well damn i didn’t expect to cry tonight!😭
Can we all hold hands now?😂😭😘
A round of 🎶Kumbaya 🎶
Dotta was grateful for this and loved rens response.. read what dotta put in his community page... and dottas subs have grown exponentially since this response...
I love your reaction and i totally agree. Im glad you did both and gave your honest opinion, not many people seem to do that!
Man first off I have to say I love your Chanel. You have a one of the best personalities on u tube. 2nd thank you for catching that cambucha line and letting us know what it was. Only thing I didn’t get. Cheers my man:) 👍
Dotta had one good line. Every line ran wrote was awesome. He was so good. He didn’t even write a beat. And then he had the class to turn around and say peace, not war we’re better than that.
Love that you did both these together! 👍😘
Ren is just built different it's so refreshing
Dotta had some good moments... And he's smart. He poked because he knew the traffic it would generate. Not a coincidence that he struck right after they both got a mil... Ren was cold too, and honest. Dotta can flow, he just needs to hone his craft and get heard. Props to both.
Also Ren got to use whatever light was shined on this contest to teach his world view. 👏
Love the honesty brother!!
I felt this was a very honest, non bias reaction and I really appreciate that 🫶
It's like a real life equivalent to the last battle in "8 mile
I can’t believe you didn’t react to his “ royal flush”. ThT line cracked me ip
Loved your honest even reaction, both were great. Respect bro.
Dotta even complemented Ren on his diss
REN shows how you slay and resurrect Dotta in one rhyme
What Ren did was real battle rap at least where I come from, no beat just lyrics and body language.
Holy SHIT! I just caught a double that i haven't seen any reactors catch! "You're butchering the culture, you ain't brewing kombucha" 😮
Kombucha requires a live culture (bacteria) to brew! 🤯
Never heard Ren before, but he got the W.
Thanks for linking the original videos!
Rens having treatment right now. So I think it was dope ❤from the UK 🇬🇧
Dotta said "Don't have any instruments", so Ren said "Fuck it, no beat either"
Ren literally had a #1 album in the UK and he did it with no label or any promotion company.
Ren: 1.2 million subs
King Dotta: 400 subs
Jealousy is an ugly look.
This was so good of a response that Dotta now has a reaction channel featuring Ren often 😊
hard disses, and respect in the same track, no one but ren
Ive loved the whole thing so have to thank dotta for starting this , its been a wonderful and entertaining week . Saw dotta in breakin barz chat and he had respect for Ren . Fair play , personally i think Ren won 🏆❤
