You never have to filter Ren's videos. He promotes reactors.
Drugs and sobriety aren't an issue with Ren because he spends such a huge amount of time battling disease and seeking new treatments in different countries. Dotta's just grasping air and wishing something would stick.
Think the story is Knox Hill who is another rapper/reactor did a song, then another reactor/hater called Michelleshow told Dotta that Knox had dissed him in the song. Knox didn't. So Dotta dissed Knox, Knox came back with two diss tracks againts Dotta. As Ren and Knox are friends, Dotta wrote this dissing Ren. Hope that makes sense. 😅

Loved that Britt, you're right, him and Knox are friends, Ren invited him over for Money Game Pt3 (dropping soon so you might want to do a Pt1/2 soon). From a rap perspective, like you say, it's just one of his many lanes, but he certainly can mix it with the best. I'd recommend Genesis filmed in 1 take in Brighton, his flow as he walks the streets is a work of art, with his own beats. He put King Dotta back in his box, here. Such joy!

REN is an artist. Sings, raps, spoken word, and plays multiple instruments. I love that he is so well read and his extensive vocabulary shows in the phrases in his songs. Also, I admit I am completely biased and love everything he does ❤❤❤

I was never pissed at dotta for the shit he said about me, even about race as ill explain below , but I did want to earn his respect because he comes at it from a place much truer to the origins of hiphop than I do. Yeah I've had a life full of adversity, and had to hustle and grind 10 times harder than most because of the physical limitations from my body, but hiphop first and foremost is a music rooted within the civil rights movements, birthed in ghettos, and rather than being vulture of that culture I want to earn my place within it rather than be a tourist.
Dottas flow reminded me of the 50s, Royce, Xzibit, biggie, bizarre etc. I thought he was really sick which is why I took it up, regardless of what I said in the battle I think he's dope cause he reminded me of alot of the rap I listened to growing up.
I don't ever believe there should be segregated lines drawn between music. Music is the closest thing to God I know, and it's ability to unify people in my oppinion is second to none, however within that we should still respect the origins, uphold traditions, and pay homage to the greats who paved the way to make it possible. THats why dotta is correct when he said hiphop is black music. It is , just like fish and chips is British food, that doesn't mean everyone can't enjoy it, and even Excell at it in the cases of the Eminems, beastie boys, mac millers etc.
My favorite thing about how this panned out was that me and dotta were able to respect and laugh about it after it was all said and done even though we come at it from a totally different background.
I hope we can all look at our opposition the same way cause there's way too much in the world that divides us and keeps us separated from our common goals
I can’t build shelves high enough to Put Ren on. He gets it. Even better than some in the same game. He truly wants a culture we can all be part of and see everybody rise.
The Michelle Show was saying how rubbish Ren was, but in one of his reactions to the Dotta/Knox studf he commented that Dotta would have to "work his way up to Ren" Michelle accidentally complimented Ren. The other side of this diss was also directed at knox hill, & knox not only knocked it out of the park but then released a second diss a day later. Both were fire, dotta did crown, then knox did a stan remix & then patiently waiting. Theres a lot of double & triples in both & would be awesome to break down!!
Ren was in Canada getting his latest round of medical treatment including daily I.V.s and such when this all started so I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote this with an I.V. in his arm and filmed it in the parking structure under the hospital/medical center. Another live continuous-shot from a man with a passion for what he does and a passion to make the world a better place.

Yes. King Dotta basically just goes after people with a large following to try to get his subs up. Ren was gracious in this one and Dottas numbers went up after Ren told his fans to like and subscribe.

Now, I've just discovered Ren a few days ago, but I think its fair to say that Ren is more of a wrapper. He's over all the boxes from what I've seen so far.

Rap batteling isn't my thing, I try whenever I can to lift creatives up, but a few weeks ago i found a video on Michelle show's channel of him saying I was trash blablabla, then I spotted a few comments from this guy King Dotta, claiming the only reason I was getting any king of traction was because I was white, I did a little digging and found out the guy had dropped a diss on Knox Hill, and then had made multiple videos dissing some reactors and rappers who seemed like genuine good people.
When I was a kid I used to get beat up in school, I hate bullies, and an area I know I can stand up to most is my lyrics, so thought i'd have a little fun.
I knew i only had to slightly poke the bear and he'd probably fly off the handle and make a diss track about me, so I gave him a little prod, and very predictably here we are. What I didn't expect was Knox to go in on him HARD and chaos to break loose.
Anyway, I decided to write and film a response to his track Kingdom come, its called Dumb King Come, its coming today ;)

Yes, Dotta mainly does instigation tracks. He is also currently in a diss beef with fellow reactor/rapper Knox Hill
Both of Knox's diss tracks against Dotta were absolute beatdowns, Ren commented after the second one, "How do you kill a dead man? Asking for a friend."
Michelleshow is a rap reaction channel that was hyping Dotta up. Generally known for stirring up controversy, has hated on both Ren and Knox several times previously.
A lot of the beef and reasons for these rebuttal tracks was from comments and public messages on RUclips. KD even tried to call out Knox for being a R*cist and going after other rap reacters.
Hopefully this straightens Dotta out to do something other than diss tracks, and actually try to be a proper rapper.
Fat chance, he dropped two diss tracks in response to Knox today :-(

So these two guys set up this rap battle as a mutual promotion event, an artistic happening - and fair enough - but Ren is right, more people will hear of King Dotta, he'll get some attention - as they say outright - how decent of Ren, he's giving some shine across the color line, for the greater good - he's a unique talent, a street saint, and a political activist in the tradition of the greats - Guthrie, Dylan, Springsteen, Scott-Heron, Ani DiFranco - what a talent, I'm inspired!

@@inuchan74 It might be one of the scammers who claim stuff they don't actually own, and get away with it because RUclips is really screwed up from a creators point of view. None-The-less, if you watch the Ren interview with Black Pegasus, he says that he loves and wants reactors to react to his channel because "Rising tides lift all ships." But, best to be safe than sorry, I suppose.
I don't think it was a scammer. He got a notice from youtube that an automatic copyright claim was applied to his reaction to Power, he disputed it inder fair use and then youtube came back and said that the content owner reviewed it and decided it did not fsll under fair use. He's a therapist so talks a lot about the song meaning, mental health relations ect. He hasn't said if that happened to any other videos

A reactor facetimed with Dotta after Ren released this. Dotta said he had had cake for breakfast so that line from Ren had him rolling. Dotta was content to leave it at this with Ren.

Yes Britt, thats Dotta's game. He dissed so many people before Knox and Ren put him in his place. You should check out Knox hills disses towards Dotta, he did two of them, and Knox is an awesome rapper as well.
The gist of what happened is that in the lyrics of Knox Hill’s “Killshot remix”, the word Dotta is used (apparently just used to fit the rhyme scheme). MichelleShow (a reactor) ran with it and told King Dotta that Knox dissed him. Knox responded by saying that he didn’t even know who king Dotta was. Dotta refused to believe that a dropped a Knox Hill diss called “Crown”.
Around the same time he and Ren had words in MichelleShow comments and Dotta called Ren out. Ren agreed to a diss battle with Dotta. Knox wasn’t going to respond to Dotta, but he called Knox out again during his diss to Ren. He even tried to get him cancelled and started having words with Knox’s fans. So Knox dropped 2 diss tracks against Dotta. Dotta didn’t respond right away.
After Ren dropped his King Dotta diss, Knox extended an olive branch to Dotta (in spirit of the kindness shown at the end of Ren’s diss), but Dotta said he wouldn’t take it because it would make him look weak, then recently dropped 2 more Knox disses. Not sure if Knox will respond again.
Dotta and Ren are now on good terms and say they respect one another now. Dotta thought Ren’s response was hilarious and and called Ren’s diss “dope”. He said he would not be dropping another diss towards Ren. He he now wanting to do a collaboration with Ren.
Apparently Dotta is calling out a lot of people, chasing clout.
As for Ren & Knox Hill, yes they are friends. Knox was recently in the UK during the filming of an upcoming music video for Ren’s “Money Game part 3”. It’s speculated that Knox will be featured

Knox Hill was one of the first American artist/reactors to break down "Hi Ren". After this, Ren did an interview with him on his podcast. Dotta dissed Knox first. Knox responded x 2 in 24 hrs. Then Ren dissed Dotta. - Knox 2, Ren 1...Dotta, notta. PS- both Knox & Ren have over 1 mil subs. Dotta only had 800 before this beef. Gotta love Ren ❣️❣️
Short version: Dotta's been trolling youtubers, reactors and rappers, trying to get people to respond. Knox Hill wasn't taking the bait, but Ren saw some of his comments on a video Michelle Show posted (michelle is a dude). So according to him, he did a bit of digging and saw that he's been dropping diss tracks and trolling other youtubers that he considers good people, trying to get clout. Ren said that he wasn't mad about Dotta's comments about him, but the bullying. He hates bullies cuz he was bullied and beaten up a lot as a kid so as he said he "poked the bear" figuring Dotta would take a shot at him. Whatever he said worked lol, cuz they agreed if Dotta dropped a one take diss track then Ren would respond. So this definitely didn't come out of left field. Idk that he really thinks Dotta is good, but he did say his style reminded him of rappers he grew up listening to and he liked that. There's been two artists that Ren has asked his fans to check out, neither of them knew he was going to do that and basically overnight they each got like 10 thousand new subs. I think in his way he's trying to push Dotta to up his game and and stop being a dick to people. Might have worked because Dotta said in his community tabs that after he drops another response to Knox he's done with diss tracks unless someone calls him out. He also said he got mad respect for Ren now and sounds really appreciative. As far as whether or not Ren had dealt with addiction, not sure but in the rap Power he talks about getting really high to block out the sounds of his parents fighting and at 16 doing lines til his nose bled. Even if it wasn't a full blow addiction, he's at least dabbled with the hard stuff.
King Dotta dissed both Ren and Knox Hill…Knox came back with “Stan remix” and “Patiently Waiting”. Dotta is just trying to gain some traction off the success of others. Ren has Lyme disease and takes 15+ pills a day along with other therapy. He did do drugs as teenager dealing with his illness.
