    The government has really made things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance. It's obvious we are headed for hyperinflation,it is always the poor who take the hit.

    The HD’s also have 10 ply tires, which makes them ride more rough than the half tons do

    What absolutely frustrates me is how they don't design these half ton off road trucks with more payload. If they could make it 1500-1600 they would be great, but limiting it to 900lbs you basically can't tow any hard sided TT or you're severely limited to the smallest available.
    I'm getting a 2500 at4 hopefully soon and I'm thrilled to have all the extra payload.

    if your towing the 1/2 ton dont even think about it. the 2500 or 3500 is a whole other beast. Me I would take the 3500 from here on out. My last 4 were 2500. The 2500 or 3500 diesel and the 1500 diesel are two different worlds. Building contractor 30 years pulling daily.

      Not even a truck at that point ridgelines have 1400 payload and that’s a crv with a bed😂

    The HD Would Be Perfect (Gas For Me) if It Had FRONT LOCKING DIFFERENTIALS 🤷😔🤷 Sooo Close to Almost Perfect 🤷
    1 Of The 2 For Me (Gas Version)... Maybe Hopefully The 2025 Has FRONT LOCKING DIFFERENTIALS...Just Read I'm NOT The ONLY 1 wanting That😄

    A 1500 Has FRONT & REAR LOCKING DIFFERENTIALS... But The 2500HD Does NOT Have FRONT LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL🤷... I Read Or Heard The FRONT DIFF On The 2500HD Is An OPEN DIFF🤔... How Would That Work For The 4 Wheel Drive System For The Truck?..
    The 2500HD Has A Rear Locking DIFF...So If Engaged...And In 4WD Mode... Would It Basically Be 3 Wheel Drive?🤔...

    Alot of money.. do they really work that much better than a work or LT truck with Z71 packages?.. especially when most people spend most of the time on the pavement...

    maybe get under truck next time.. all have 2 spool valves yes two 1500 and 2500HD the 1500 is coilover 2500 is not

    I got one simple reason for why the he version is better. Engine is much more reliable. I don’t trust half ton gm engines they all have issues.

      @@fattie2550 Yeah, I looked at the difference between the 2500HD and the 3500HD. Bigger rear diff, heavier duty suspension all around, higher capacities. Made no sense not to do the 1 ton. I added the flexfuel option as well. $100 more. 4WD, 8 foot bed, 5th wheel, snow plow pack, off road suspension, crew cab. Figure I'm good for just about anything. Dealer f*credit up and didn't get the dual alternators, but I can live without that. Do have dual batteries. As for diesel, not these days, with all the issues. And $10K more out the door. Not happening.

      For $7,500 you can install a Whipple supercharger that will give you 700 ft-lbs of torque, which gets you into the diesel ballpark. Without the diesel issues.

    The half ton has a horrible transmission.. the hd all the way…
