- For the 7th episode of An Owner's review, Quinton tells us what's it's like owning a 3rd generation Dodge Viper. In particularly, this 2005 SRT-10 Copperhead Edition. He even let me hop in the driver's seat to get some driving impressions! Check Quinton out here:

This was awesome, thanks a lot for taking the time to link up and make this video. I'm sharing this!
So glad you were willing to do this! I had a ton of fun!
Nice video guys
Sick viper man. What's your favorite viper gen?
GR8 to see you and Q collaborating on RUclips in TX. Obviously I follow you both. Let's see you get him into your new GT350 sometime in the future.
Really really really want a Gen III convertible! Beautiful Copperhead!
Great questions and answers.... great video footage, props to the guy next to you for filming
Thanks man!
I want to thank you brothers for making this video because of all the krazyness we all are going through it's still good to see different people coming together far common good and Mr Quinton it's good to see you get it GOD bless you to bless others keep up the good work both of you!!!
Incase y'all missed it, here's the last Owner's Review video with a McLaren 675LT Spider: ruclips.net/video/3itEBtLYdi4/видео.html Thanks for watching!
Dude, this is my dream car right here....I know I’ll love it the deck get it
Pretty much everything said here I agree with after a few weeks driving my first gen3 around. Good heads on these guys. 💪
As a fellow Gen 3 owner, i agree with pretty much everything Mr. Quinton TV is saying..... except the looks being slightly less vs the Gen 1 and 2 comment ;) I love the Gen 1 and 2 but the Gen 3 and 4 stole my heart hahaha..... They are certainly not fun to drive slowly as was said in the video too, very jerky and just not happy at low speeds.... it does however, cruise like a champ compared to what i was expecting with all the reviews saying its a raw and brutal car. I can have a conversation at 75 mph without having to raise my voice even with a corsa cat-back on it! Thanks for reviewing a Gen 3!
The thing I really hate about the Gen 3/4 is that they got rid of the clam shell hood. That was such a signature part of the car, I don't understand why they changed it. But at least they brought it back for Gen 5
Great collaboration 👍🏻 awesome review
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Sweet ride. Looking at a gen 2
Time to seriously consider one of these.
Can you take your car on the track once to see how it feels to move it around a little more?
I feel like I learned more about the BRZ than I did the Viper.
It looks likes exactly like one up for sale on reed right now
Ahh, I was wondering whose Viper this was, haha. My '94 has AC, and thankfully it doesn't run too hot...the 3" pipes and some other mods have helped that. But don't get me wrong, it can still run quite warm--and that's probably the only thing that keeps me from daily driving it.
Daily it bro! lol.
Honestly id go this before a gen 5, to me this style looks more like the original than the gen 5, mainly the front grill. Performance this thing still got 7:22 or so on the nurburgring, not bade considering its 145 horsepower down of the gen 5 acr.
Q getting some Gen 3 love.
Cbj54 Unclutched CJ! Did u sell it yet?
Quinton always wanted a GT-350R, you should tell him to finally get one! :)
Is that right? Hmm... ;)
Exoticars19 haha Yep!
I also have a s2000 and looking at 03-06 Vipers now lol
Do it.
These are still an amazing deal. I see listings online for these things with like 13k, pristine condition, for only 42k. You really can't say no to a deal like that.
@FAKETAXI SRT4 Yeah lol, blame the car market rn!
I just paid 60 for an 05 with 11k on it so prices are definitely climbing on these!
That grin never leaves the Viper owners face. I get that when I drive my C7 manual.
It's half the fun of owning a car like this.
Have you owned any C4/5/6’s with the M6 for comparison?
I was wondering about the transmissions gearing with the extra 7th gear in the C7.
What rear end gears come in the C7? Are the ratios for particular gears within the transmission different than, say, a base C5 with the Tremec T-56 (the only manual available iirc). if so, how noticeable?
The reason I ask is because my Corvettes have always been geared too tall. My C5 (fixed roof coupe, started w/ minor bolts and modded further over time) had the 3.42 lsd diff) final drive ratio, 6-speed. 4th gear was 1:1, 5th was like 1:0.76, 6th 1:0.50 (pulling from memory; 97% sure I am correct).
Although it works really well for everyday use due to the LS’s over abundance of low end pushrod torque and smooth/wide power spread (not to mention that gas mileage is great, drivability amazing due to the low frequency of required shifts)!overall transmission gearing is simply too tall. 1st gets up around 60. My 350Z (6-speed) redlines in 2nd near the same speed; mid-30’s in first.
My 02’ Z06 had a 3.73 rear-end (Plus slightly different ratios within the transmission in some gears).
I always wondered how 4.11’s or even 4.56’s would do. Not even necessarily for drag racing; It would basically be geared similar to other manuals on the road. 5th and 6th would still be tall enough to hang with factory Vettes on top-end.
Basically what I want to know is: Does GM take advantage of the extra gear by shortening the first 3 or 4 gears? I imagine going with closer ratios would increase perceived power/torque by a notable margin. I also suspect acceleration times to drop a few tenths. All of this could be achieved while maintaining the typical Vette.
@@dr.lyleevans6915 your post makes interesting reading. I have only owned a number of C7s and never any previous Gen vettes so cannot really fill in the blanks sorry. With my manual I rarely get to 6th or 7th gear or even 5th. In 7th gear on the highway it's doing barely 1000rpm. People tell me it's too many gears to toggle through but I say drive it like it's a regular 5 speed car. Don't need the others. I guess in 7th with cruise control on, that's how they get the claimed 29mph.
I think the viper may be a bit quicker and faster than the subaru
This video should have gotten more views. 😊
Great viper video.
I'm browsing for familiar faces. Hi buddy!
Said the letters BRZ wayyy too many times in a Viper... comeon man
Tony furguson and Tyron Woodley viper review
Hahaha, funniest thing I've read ;D

OK, great video.... but are just going to ignore that crib at 9:54 -- holy shit!! Is that the mansion on the hill just off City Park Road?
Sure is! I don't believe they ever finished building it however...
wow, probably ran out of $$$$ ..... that's insane lol
Yeah, that's been the rumor. That's probably the case.
Quinton brought me here
Right on!

Do you still have the Viper?
Hell yeah man.
Seems I live just a few miles from Quinton but I've never ran into him.
Where are you located?
Quinton TV I'm in harker heights
@TXcNerd shit man, we're practically neighbors.
Quinton TV yeah more then once people have asked if I know you. Then tell me you have a viper.
I can't decide between gen 2 and 3!!!
2.
@@QuintonTV 3
@@QuintonTV honestly id go with whatever I could find, I like the gen 3 style a bit more, but gen 2 is still great.
Agreed gen 3 looks better than Gen 2. Gen 2 looks a bit awkward imo.
Gen 5 ? lol who would have thought.
Владельцу вайпера из подмосковья - привет
This is equivalent to a scat pack but it's a few ticks quicker
Lmao waaayy faster and actually handles.
