Great video. Bit disappointed you did not select some of CDN favourites (Osoyoos Larose, Meyer Family, Big Head, Bella Terra). Hmmmm! BTW - love the perspective on CA wines…

Another super video on Canadian wines; especially by three extremely knowledgeable experts! You've piqued our interest in the wines you've presented. Interesting that one of the wines was the Equinox from Le Vieux Pin. La Violette was our intro to BC wines and we love it. The Equinox is way too pricey. I am shocked that Niagara produces a decent Syrah; didn't think it was hot enough and long enough to make a drinkable Syrah here. It would be interesting for you do a video on drinking and examining each other's wines(?) One of the big issues we have in Ontario is accessibility to great BC wines through the LCBO. Obviously we could purchase directly from the winery but without an initial tasting its really difficult to decide on which wines to purchase. Your videos like this one go along to helping us make those decisions. Thanks for another great video!

Thanks for the comments! It really is a shame that we can’t freely buy wines from our awesome Canadian wine regions in local liquor stores. It would really improve knowledge and dynamism within the industry as a whole. I come from a country almost as large as Canada and people would think nothing about buying a wine from Margaret River (Western Australia) in a local liquor store in Sydney (New South Wales) which is over 4000km away…

Awesome stuff. Wish we could get more in NY being just across the lake.

Great job on the vid guys. I am out there in a week and can't wait to do some tastings. Loved the details on the soils types.

Greetings from Melbourne Marcus, great video - enjoying learning about Canadian wine vicariously as opportunities to taste it are thin on the ground here, as you’d know. Keep up the content. Thanks!

No wonder I can't pick good wine. I'm too cheap. I've read articles on good wine for $15 and haven't found one yet.

The Talus is a steal at $55. Interesting that you chose the 2020, when the 2018. & 2019 where even better.

Jackson bought one of my favorite wineries here in Oregon, the prices went up and the quality declined.
