I went to an antique mall today and they had a huge collection of vintage Barbie’s. They had a huge collection of 90’s doll that i actually had as a kid. I’m going to go back and get the Courtney cheerleading doll. She’s so cute!
As Christies' sister.....I can share with you that her gifts, gift wrapping, card making, etc. has ALWAYS been off the charts in her artistry and creativity. I still have cards that she made me from over 30 years ago that I could never part with since they're like works of art to me. I'm so glad that you and your dear fans appreciate it too. Not only do I like the face mold, but I myself have fair skin, brown hair, and green eyes. Mattel used to use that combination more in the 90s, but I was looking for a mini-me and can't even find a modern Barbie that matches that skin, hair, and eye colour.
Courtney is so cute, but I must say, I could stare at that Glam and Groom Barbie for literally hours!💕 That fluffy, baby pink dress looks so dreamy and soft! I love 90s Barbies. Courtney's face is so sweet. And that Glam and Groom Barbie! Wow! I remember both of these dolls in stores. Also, I had to get myself that holiday doll. The Tori face is just so cute! She needs a made to move body but I'm waiting for the yoga dolls to go on sale at Target. I miss all of the sweet Generation Girl faces. The skipper line was deff one of my favs as a kid. I dreamed of gymnast Whitney… but we ( sister) really only had the blondies! Never brownies. Lol. I actually stole a girls bicycling Whitney from her Christmas stash (I know, horrible, but when youre a gay kid.. you do what you can)… but my sister made me feel guilty, so I threw her down the sewer… ohhh great memories. Sooo glad I still have them LOL!!!

I love Skipper/Courtney from this time period! After this they started to change for the worse in my opinion. Early 90’s was the best Skipper with the huge eyes. My 5 year old just got a hand me down Skipper Phone fun, her outfit is okay but Courtney is *truly* the stand out between the two. That skirt is sooooo Clueless, the phone too of course.
