What a great job considering you only had a month to learn this song! And you don't have to be apologetic about playing a Player. These guitars have come a long way and are definitely the best bang for someones Fender buck! And thanks for sharing all the info!
Great video Steve. What I like most about it is that you used only effects from the amp which showcases you can get very close to the tone you are looking for with just the amp. I thought it was excellent and especially considering you had not heard the track till just recently. Thanks so much for the time you spent on building the backing tracks and tones and making them available. I'll definitely check them out.
OOOOOk it has been 2 years since your video and I think Mustang still has good sounds. Are they (were) the same as the fender mustang floor or do you think they are other more advanced. I am clearly inteed to get a fender mustang floor in the face of the latest Helix , Headrush , Boss and Axefx.
Steve, which Strat is that? I knew you had the white players series with the humbucker in the bridge, but not saw this one. Excellent video and playing as always my friend.
Great catch! I actually sold that HSS and then slightly regretted it, so I ended up just getting the SSS of the same thing. I might switch out the pickguard to something else, and I have a plan to change out the wiring inside and do a video on that. But it’s a great basic Fender Strat that is equal or better to the American standard that I had 15 years ago. And appreciate you watching and for the kind words! 🎸😎👍
Different subject, but one that may appeal to you and your love of stereo. When you use your powered monitors can you get the full stereo sound you are wanting? If so you should try binaural recording. That way you can get that surround sound feeling when using earbuds/headphones. Put a couple of lavalier mics in the ears of a dummy head and you are set.
I actually don’t even know what binaural recording is, but I’m going to research it today. Sounds right up my alley. And yes, my stereo speakers, when hooked up to the amp or the looper, sound awesome and wide. Gonna check that out today 👌
@@SteveGuitar Do a search on Binaural surround and not Binaural beats, they are two different things. Ignore the hundreds of ASMR videos and find one that is for use outside in nature. They will give you a better idea of what it is all about.
@@SteveGuitar It will give you a good idea of being able to recreate the sound in your studio area as if the listener was in the room with you. I would guess it would sound great for your Taylor when played through the powered monitors in stereo.
Well, I gave it a shot, but it’s not an easy act to follow 🤣 Free jam track and GTX tones in the description (refresh if needed) 🎸👍
Excellent job Steve!!!

Thanks again, Pat, and great idea about the jam track and tones. We’ll do it again sometime😎🎸
That sounded great Steve. For someone that isn’t a fan and wasn’t familiar with the song, you did a great job.
