    How much of a profit would the $1.82/ mile for around $1,800 load be? Would that be all profit? How many miles would the driver have to drive to pick the load up? How much diesel would be used just to move to the load?
    Then when the driver has to refill, how much would that cost? $1000? So they would only get around $800 in profit? Am I seeing this correctly? Or am I off?
    Doesn't seem like much, but for a two or three days trip, if you could get another like that at the end of the week, for another $800-$1000 profit, you could make $1200-$1800/ week in profit? Or am I wrong?

    • @Darkrider8893
      @Darkrider8893 6 месяцев назад +1

      The problem is too many drivers look at each load individually. I look at multiple because sometimes you have to take a lower rate load to get to a higher rate load averaging everything out. Sure one load pays 1.60 a mile but then with the better loads the whole trip averages 2.80 a mile. That's the better way to look at it. Also my truck expenses, fuel, insurance, etc., runs at a dollar a mile. Then I take half of everything left and put it away for maintenance and unexpected repairs. Of course there is other ways to do it, but thats how I do it

    • @nikoladindic193
      @nikoladindic193 6 месяцев назад +1

      The problem is that 1200-1800 in profit per week for an owner operator is terribly low. Company drivers earn at least 1800 per week without owning any equipment.Just maintenance for a semi truck ranges around 25-40k per year. and now deduct that from 93.6k the driver makes in profit per year assuming he made 1800 in profit every single week for 52 weeks… Its tough

Day to load a day to umload and unload is 10 friday night. So sit the weekend or take the 4200 and pocket 2900 after fuel and insurance and be empty first thing monday with a load another load set up for monday first load after fuel and insurance would pay 2600. Now take that 2900 divide it by 4 days. That 725 a day first load weight was 45000 number 2 load was 10000. Load 2 put you in a better freight area. Why on earth did you even offer the wi load that was covered, You just told your driver there were three options when you knew one was not even still available???? This is what cause issues between drivers and dispatchers. SERIOUSLY DUDE don't lie to your drivers

    Ronen,
    With your knowledge, have you thought of creating videos that are inspirational to drivers out there. While your videos are often very informative, they are not inspirational. That would help drivers out there, just my opinion.

      Ronen's not trying to inspire truckers. He's trying to get them to shut up and take whatever crap loads he wants to give them. He makes his money on quantity, not quality.

    I said it before, I’ll mention it again;
    Low rates are because drivers are stupid. These drivers are working in a field and doing nothing about an industry that is accepting illiterate individuals. But than again, what can one accept from a field that employs individuals that consistently fail an IQ test.
