From what I remember a year ago he was more interested in the roll and write, then backed Dinosaur World at the end when they revealed the prices for the game and all the expansions…so maybe he didn’t really think about what the hybrid expansion was when backing it. Or maybe there are just too many games.
@@Poiuytrew.Q I'm pretty sure once Alex decides to back something he usually goes all in without thinking too much about what's in the content lol. Then again with all the all-ins he backs, I can definitely see him just forgetting what he's backed.

I backed it through the store (got nice coupon), and now i'm literally dying inside to finally get it and give it a try. I have similar feelings about art direction in Dinosaur Island as You, so I was really happy when they annouced campaign.
Recently played Too Many Bones solo and honestly I hated it. Does the balancing feel better after 50 plays or something or should I just suck it up and 2-hand it? I really couldnt see how anyone could enjoy a solo experience like that unless you normall play it as a group and just solo occassionally for the challenge, which I can't do. Also whats your plan for Tainted Grail? I love 7th Continent and I think 20 hrs in, Tainted Grail is going to be one of my favorite games
Any thoughts on the Folded Space insert for this game? It’s in color, has all the trays labeled, and can fit all Kickstarter components into the base game box. They also have a color insert for Bitoku, and coming out for Frosthaven and Tidal Blades during its pledge manager :)
One of the few downsides of being Canadian: being among the last for KS fulfillment :P. I should be getting my copy in the next 2 weeks and you're not helping with my excitement! By the way: I recommend swapping the boredom tokens for 5mm dice. Much less fiddly.
If you find out what the spare board is for that would be helpful to find out. I spent 20 minutes looking back and forth between them and couldn’t see any difference at all.😂
What the other commenter said, there was a update where they noticed the boards being damaged/warped when they were first receiving them. So they provided every backer with a spare separately packaged one to compensate for the issue.
Mine arrived 2 weeks ago and still in plastic. Debating whether to resell or wait till I have time because I need to play all the other games you made me buy first 😜
So disappointed to have just learned about this game like 2 weeks ago and to have missed out on the KS, seems like exactly my kind of game and love the theme... super bummed to miss out on all the campaign deluxification.
The insert for this game is pretty bad. I’m gonna remove it and jerry rig something. My board is also bent, so I need to look through the updates and see. But the replacement is super thin so I’ll be disappointed if that’s it.

I have Dinogenics, and it's one of my favorite games of all time. I've never played Dinosaur Island.

honestly TMB get easier with more player count, 4 player is definitely the easiest

I think the recruiter card was a promo for gencon but also included it for kickstarter backers since the game would be sold before receiving the game?

Mine arrived “puffed up” too. Once you take the punch boards out it settles back flush again.
Mine was a stretch to get all the expansions in the one box though, I'm scared to take them out, not sure I can get them back in the same way.
