Being a musician is about evolving. Listening to music is about evolving. A year ago I loved Paramore. They were my favourite band for about 6 years. This year I changed my taste and now I love Arcane Roots. What's the point in living if we don't change and evolve? She wants to change her sound. Let her. I mean if she changed her music to heavy metal, I would support her because if that is what floats her boat she may as well do it.
Paramore... My heart is still into that band. Even when the flames began after they broke apart and it was just misery business. That's what you get, I guess. :(

She is in a new stage in her music and life and obviously her writing style is going to change. I have been a Gabrielle super fan since 2011 so seeing her transition into a new style is extremely exciting! It shows just how much she has grown and the potential she has to be GREAT in other genres. Think about how much more successful Taylor Swift's 1989 vs. all her repetitive, country, breakup albums she's made combined!
