The one person associated with Who that I truly would have wanted to meet. Just down to earth, and solid in his professionalism. And the man who (almost) single-handedly lit up my childhood using the power of the printed word.

R.I.P. Terrance. Thanks for everything.
Best Doctor Who writer ever. I used to pretend to be sick so that I could stay at home from school and read three of his books in a day.
Terrance wanted to be remembered as a professional. Well I can honestly say that he was a consummate professional right to the end. Rest in peace.
Nearly every writer I've ever met wanted to be the next Terrance Dicks. I owe this man so much.
RIP Thank You Terrence.

A shame Terrance Dicks never got to write scripts for Blakes Seven and he was awesome I met him four times at 4 different events
It's hard to believe he was 81 at the time. He looks like he was in his early 50's.
Terrance was 84 when he passed. This interview was 2007. He would've been around 72.
@@jeremyloder9788 He didn't look 72.
A truly lovely man. Enthused about every aspect of Doctor Who, I'm so glad I got to meet him.
Thank you
If you showed Mr. Dicks the script for Kill the Moon (with the Moon being an egg), I'll bet he would have laughed out loud.
"What a woad of absowute wubbish this is. Where's my pen im gonna we-wite this cwap"
He actually makes a comment about kill the moon at a convention in 2015
@@bythebreach What did he say?

He'd have gotten a heart attack if he saw Hell Bent, Twice Upon A Time or The Timeless Children
When was this filmed?
Hi Paul, sorry for the late response, it was filmed in November 2007
RIP uncle Terry
