Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is my favorite of the series purely for the weapon mechanics. Being able to lean tables and ladders anywhere, them remaining after being broken, and being able to use directional moves like a basic suplex through a table out of nowhere are top notch

Svr 2007 basically had the soundtrack to my childhood and svr 2011 had my favorite story mode in any of the wwe games.

Smacked vs raw 2007 was my favorite to play just cause of the locker room you had gm mode . Truly my favorite game .
2011 was the best. Being a kid and hearing "did you forget about your OTHER opponent? RING THAT BELL" was such a hype moment. Because you know you had to put everything into that match if you wanted to unlock them. (I say everything because I always did the hardest difficulty because it took skill)

I miss this old style of gameplay from SmackDown VS. RAW - SmackDown VS. RAW 2007 honestly. Although it's mostly nostalgia I'll have to admit, this gameplay style could be a feature in future wrestling games. It could happen lol

The match between Edge and Randy was long, but is was amazing! It deserved to be long! Do people not understand that Edge had a devastating injury that caused him to have to end his career sooner than he wanted to?This man returned from a 9YEAR ABSENCE, and Edge deserved to have a match that long! The match had soooooo much heart, storytelling & emotion within it, and it reminded me why I became a fan of wrestling. Not only did it remind me why I became a wrestling fan, it also allowed me to "escape" and to not think about the problems that are going on in the world rn.
It’s not suppose to be pretty and have it be 20 minute match would not sell the feud like a 36 minute match would it’s long because it’s personal

Hiro4 Life2002 I’m not saying that all the 2k games were bad. There was some good ones like the one that stood out for me was 16 with Steve Austin. I feel like the sdvsraw games better features wise for the time, some 2k games didn’t get many features besides the latest tower and stuff since their initial release since 2012.

Yeah, I played SvR 2008 on PSP for soo long. I never could get the hang of the GM mode, but I had a blast. Then we got the game for PS2 for my brother, and we pretty much finished the game together. I think Chris was too hard on this one, but maybe that's just me.

I definitely like the SVR series better than the 2K series. The overall experience Felt smooth on the controls and better with the graphics. They gave you more options as well as more nitty-gritty if that makes sense. Nowadays, the violence is tone down and although it looks more realistic, it feels like you’re playing a match that happens on TV more than it is an actual fight/wrestling match. That’s just my opinion.

My favorite out of all these was SvR 2007. I would play matches with my brother or just watch him play. I remember the entire soundtrack which just brings back so many memories now.

Every Christmas as a child me and my childhood friend would get the new svr have every year and spend hrs playing.

I met the Boogeyman at an indie show... I was working as part of the film crew for local access tv and dvds... I had to escort to the locker room so no one would see him without his makeup before the show... after I showed him to the dressing room he went our for a meet and greet and didn't charge for photos or an autograph... one of the coolest guys out there and a genuinely nice man! I'll never forget how nice he was to our entire crew. He even personally thanked us after the show.

honestly while i do like some of the 2k games and don't mind the simulation style i do miss these games they were fun and had boundless create options, i'd love story creator to be intergrated with universe.
