Well that was a weird segue...Boreanaz is telling a sincere story only to have it interrupted by James for a not very funny joke.
FoxyAlphaRogerTango He's been telling the same story over and over for a while now. I'm beginning to think he should shut it and sit there looking gorgeous, or stick to the weather like his Dad did, if all we're going to get is this BS about veterans in America. The show looks pretty shitty to me, glamourising and glorifying wars in the Middle East, and invasions of countries like Iraq which have contributed to the sort of instability that breeds terror rather than contains or combats it, BUT
David Boreanaz is still insanely hot, so I'll thank him for his service - not for protecting imperialist oil interests in the Middle East under the pretext of looking for WMDs that don't exist, but for playing at being a good soldier, and looking so hot doing it. I've been hoping for byears he would play Hal Jordan Green Lantern once it ended, but then they modelled the artwork after him and Carla Gugino when he did a guest spot in a little Indy flick with her, and cast that awful fellow with the ugh face in the role. Boreanaz is the perfect superhero. He might be the hottest man alive, and the only real man in Hollywood. What's the Unit? I was hoping this show wouldn't last because it looks awful, and I'd rather see him do at least one superhero role like Green Lantern before he loses the looks, but one does not simply cancel on David Boreanaz. It's beginning to seem like wishful thinking - plus, he doesn't do movies. He wins at everything he does on TV. My guess is Seal Team will get picked up over and over until he tires of it.

Why do you think he never gets cancelled on? Because he smirks at the camera, and looks so damned hot doing it. He's not even a great actor. His weapons trainer who works with all the A-listers in Hollywood did say in an interview that he'd taken to shooting firearms most naturally, but that was a handgun while he was playing an FBI Agent - something about Kevin Costner being the best long-range shooter with a rifle, and Boreanaz the best at handling the gun. Frankly, this show looks so bad I can't bring myself to really watch it, but I'd rather thank him for his service than most American soldiers, just because of the way he looks in uniform, holding a gun. Besides, he can't cause much damage with a gun on TV that's not even real. Added bonus.
