For many, it might be 20k to 50k or more, if you have excellent purchasing power, incredible!! I still consider up to the 5k mark segment as a budget iems and headphones. Beyond that even they might be expensive for me.
✔️Disclaimer: Guys, this is for every hp/iem or earphone and not specific to this only:-There's always a deviation in the frequency response as you increase the volume. More volume either gives you more bass or more treble in some cases. Sound signature can differ from one to another depending upon your source device, DAC, audio format and compression 🙏
✔️Audio equipment sounds best when they get warm, so give a little time to your DAC and Amp for a warm-up. You will surely hear the changes in your audio.
🔴Tips: 👇
✔️Always try to use some good EQ app like wavelet (for android) or Dolby atmos on your mobile in case you are not getting the sound you want. ✔️Getting deep bass: always choose accurate-sized eartips for your ear. Foam eartips give you the BEST isolation and therefore best bass response.
✔️Always listen on low to mid volumes so that your eardrums have a long run to sense and judge the high frequencies spectrum.

I bought my first Iem, which were moondrop quarks and didn't like its neutral soundstage gave it away to a friend and went with tangzu waner and oh my the difference and some self awareness that I like warmer sound signature more..

It responds to all genres of music really well. Hola is a bit subdued and relaxing sounding.
Wan'er has the warmth and punch that I liked a lot.
Go with the jade green version because the wires are better quality than the previous versions.

I had apple earpods, the wired ones if you are talking about them. I felt negligible treble details in the earpods. Altho bass is good in the earpods, vocals are average if not bad.
hello there, thanks for putting this out. i have been planning to buy my first iem and i was sort of confused between the 7Hz salnotes Zero and Tangzu Wan'er S.G. i mostly listen to all genres. 60% is bollywood music ranging from live recordings of lata ji, panchamda, kishre da, rafi saab, jagjit singh to ar rehman, pritam's bangers, vishal shekar charbusters and raps too. the other 40% includes international pops, edms and hiphops. my present gear includes JBL T210, Sony WI-XB400, Oppo M31 and Realme Wireless Buds 2. I really like the JBL T210 and Oppo M31 but they lack details and instrument separation. the dolby atmos streaming of apple music needs good soundstage and i'm looking for that in the IEM. clean bass thumps, clear mids and lusious vocals and smooth treble (hate sibilant treble) is what i'm looking for. could you please suggest me one i should pick between 7Hz Salnotes Zero or Tangzu Wan'er.
Hi, this is too much you are expecting from an iem..bass generally reduced the details and more treble doesn't give you much details. Every earphone/iem tuned differently and not with the up to the mark performance. You can but Tinhifi T3 Plus... it's a good one. And if it seems out of budget then go either with QKZ x HBB or Tangzu Wan'er.

Yes, directly to my home address. Under $50 I think there won't be any duty imposed. It generally takes 25 days to deliver to you. When it comes to India , the packet is generally handled by post , delhivery or bluedart.

Moondrop dsp and quarks 3.5mm with any dac , will give same output?
the md dsp has a dsp circuit and not have a dac chip built in. Output will depend upon the impedance they have. Check the specs.

when vocals come alive , you will HV to compromise with the bass like in zex pro, salnotes zero and truthEar hola. I find zex pro good with vocals. Altho a little sharp at upper mid range.
Bro blons literally have the best vocals in this price range. 😂

you can buy any dongle, no such difference. Both the above iems are not balanced. If you do not want much bas and sharp treble go with Tangzu waner, ka esx .. want good vocals then moondrop chu, fiio jd3

nope man, it doesn't soften the treble. Salnotes zero is my choice for excellent separation and for bass now it's tanya dsp. Bl03 never on my list.

I was also thinking of going with planar but its not that good for gaming .
Salnotes zero is quite balanced and overall good for everything. Although has limited bass.

Thank you!! as a singer, I don't think the recent mass-market iems would do any good to you. chu is good but the fit is not perfect, other iems either are bassy or some are brighter. You need one that has no or minimal bass bump in the vocal region. You can go with trn ta1 if available.

Warner is in chu and salnotes category where they lean towards treble and mid.

Qkz hbb would be more base leaning.

@@dennisthemenace4288 both are good for the price for critical listening, both are fatiguing to me after 30min-1hr listening. Chu is bit sharper, but has better driver you could EQ Chu and increase bass, reduce the treble peak. But that doesn't work that well with Zero.

hola is soft sounding with soft treble and nice bass, waner has more bass , it’s bit aggressive and has wider sound stage.

Im looking for a competive gaming specific iem and im confused btw Salnotes or chu or tangzu. I read and saw many good gaming reviews for the salnotes. I do feel like tangzu would be better for gaming cause of the warm and smooth signature than the balanced of 7hz. I read chu sounds too metallic and high on treble.
Mic is a must have for me. Open to any other recommendations under 5k.
for the gaming you need an iem with good mid range , bass will ruin the details. Salnotes is good because it has no exaggerated bass, even I tested truthear hola today and I found it very good in modern warfare. Another one is C2 Mech warrior from tinhifi..a bit brighter tho
@@TechReviewPool yeah another guy from indian audiophile scene "Hardware Mana " recommends Salnotes over tangzu cause he had issue with pinpointing players positioning in game which dont have Hrtf like Apex.
I will get the salnotes now fosho. Guess i will have to eq a bit to get that fuller sound which many have pointed versus the Tangzu.

@@shubhampal6229 these are just the chips those dac have, they don't sound different unless it has dsp inside..which I think they don't have. Regarding durability..they both can live long and can break if you use them carelessly.

@@lankegowtham6783 the all you need is not solely depend upon your iem bro, your source must be good too, has a good dac chip, you can use Atmos or dts app on the pc to get spatial audio.
All you need is not available on a single iem. Still I like Hifiman re400, Salnotes zero for gaming...wait for my conclusion over moondrop dsp if you can.

it's different from CRA, the treble in Wan'er is not as crisp as in the CRA. But the overall sound is clean and good.

Hi bhai.Have Blon 03 .I found bass was great but bit muddy, treble was a little high and lack of bit details. I upgraded the cable to blon 4 core, with these i found the perfect sound output. 1 right side earphone not working now.Can you suggest if i should buy blon 03 or tangzu waner or 7hz salnotes based on my requirement?
Hey man!! yes, I found the treble on bl03 sharp at times. The problem I face with bl03 is the fitting which is causing an issue for me. Wan'er and Salnotes both are good and can be considered, going with the specific one is difficult for me to recommend :) kz esx , qkz x hbb are also nice.

Also, how good is quarks dsp? I am seeing all youtubers are hyping it.

My preference is to buy iem which sounds like that... Bhai soul tak utar aati hai itni clear sound hai.. Try to find someone with Tata Nexon car. Ya fir showroom to available hoga hi...

is tangzu wan'er great for a first-timer like me who's wants to try IEMs but wants to get one for everything like gaming, music, movies, anime and stuff? I dont want fatiguing treble and bloated bass but just about enuf in both to notice and enjoy them.

yes, it's a good one. Better than many kzs. Also, Kiwi ears Cadenza is another option.

Which is best iem for technicalities (detail, imaging, separation, dynamics) under $25? My only preference is technicalities (I want to hear different instruments and micro details in music at-least good enough, as I know I can't get too much detail's imaging, separation, dynamics in this price range.) not tunning.
Moondrop Chu is the answer, you can't judge the dynamic range easily unless the brand mentions the db numbers of dynamic range.
The soundstage on Chu is parallel to the head but vocals are soothing. Bass is not much but can be felt with good eartips, fitting of Chu is not the best and for that Salnotes zero is good. I also like tripowin lea and TRN ta1 ..
