These boots have been a life changer for me I suffered excruciating pain from plantar fasciitis and knee pain Kaha boots the Best. I have a slim foot my normal size is 10.5 in this hoka I’m a 10 wider foot may be true to size. Super light good support durable water resistant amazing sole grip I have changed my entire foot wear to Hoka.
How has shoe been? Have you done any hiking, walking trails or road? Is it hot inside shoe since it's covered with gore-tex & not mesh outside? What's shoe like walking on paved roads / sidewalks / trails ( smooth, rugged, rocky, steep, etc...
@@Thankful_n_Grateful I've only worn them during colder weather so far but they havent felt hot. I havent tried them on a rugged trail yet but on everything else they are so comfy, barely feel the ground.

Yeah Hoka One One has changed my life too since im also suffering from excruciating pain from plantar fasciitis feels so good to able to run again. I did the same my entire shoe line has switched over to hokas wish i could return my jordans, and every shoe before for more hoka pairs haha
These are some of the best shoes I’ve ever owned. They can do almost anything despite being a little bulky. They do have a couple weaknesses that I don’t see discussed enough in reviews. One is that the outsole is attached to the midsole in segments and can detach rather easily from the midsole foam compared to other boots in this price range, but if you know this about Hoka’s, you can take care not to be too rough on the lugs. The second weakness, which Hoka has addressed with the Anacapa and the Kaha 2, is the rand on the toe of the boot. It either needs to be tapered and glued very well, like on higher end european mountaineering boots, or stitched, which they have chosen to do on the other models. On this model the rand will begin to detach over time ever so slightly even with great care given to the shoes.
@@jamesconors88 if you are talking about the Sky Kaha, this is the same model but with a Gore Tex liner instead of an eVent liner. No difference really.
There are no words that can describe the quality of these hiking boots !!! They are trully the most comfortable I have ever worn. It's true I have worn a lot of hiking and jogging shoes, but these are awesome for me > shock absorption, even over 700 km !!! > sole comfort > compressive strength > ankle stabilization, despite the relatively soft collar. As it is common for climbers and hikers to get half a number bigger than in sports, so did I. However, since they have a fairly wide line, I wear them with a double sole, and I feel so comfortable that at the end of each long journey (eg 25 km with 1800 m. Ascent and descent respectively), I DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO TAKE THEM OUT OF MY LEGS !!! I have done 750 km so far,. I changed the sole change at 500 km, for € 30.00. The absorption of the vibrations is as in the beginning, despite the rugged rocky soils that I have crossed (Tymfi Karteros pass, Gorilla ridge, Petrovitsa ridge, etc. many). In conclusion, I highly recommend them, and if the amount of about € 220.00 seems huge, believe me, they are cheap for their build quality and durability.
10000%!! ive never worn a shoe before and instantly felt that other shoes have overrated comfort. these are so much better on comfort than other shoes and are at least 95 % of the way there on everything else. if these are a 10 on comfort i have the salomon quest at about an 8. there are plenty of shoes that are just as expensive as these but theyd have you in agony on a serious hike.
Anacapa or Kaha for snow and winter conditions. Im thinking Kaha is more waster proof in snow conditions. I need a rocker sole and have a ton of Hoka shoes.
Thanks for your review! I was looking into these shoes or the anacapa to use on a week long hike with backpack early January in Kenya (hot, usually no rain) however I doubt they are breathable enough. Any advice on shoes to look for without gore tex in mid height and good support? Or are these " the ones"? Thanks!
These are definitely "the ones" in terms of long-term comfort. Adidas just released the Terrex Free Hiker 2 in a non-GoreTex version that may also be good comfort wise. They look pretty breathable but maybe not as supportive/durable as the Hokas...but may be worth looking in to if you really don't want GoreTex. Enjoy the hike!
How would you advise to clean the nubuck like outer material? I have the light green bodega ones and am scared to stain more after getting a drink spilled on them.
Unfortunately the Vibram sole pieces come unglued and separate from the edges. I learned the hard way and almost got hurt! Upon inspection I found numerous pieces on both boots coming unglued! Hoka would not warranty the boots! I had purchased a second pair because I liked these until I had the sole issue. Hoka did take back the unused pair. Since everything else with the boots are great it is Gorilla glue to the rescue constantly! I wish they would of never discontinued the Tor Ultra Hi! I beat 3 pair of them up over a 6 year period.
I usually only wear them in cooler weather but my feet never feel too hot in them. Apparently the Gore-Tex is designed to let vapor out but keep water from getting inside so they're pretty breathable
Yes they do, I've gone through two pairs already and no complaints at all, I think they discontinued the black ones tho smh. I had the green and sand colored ones

I think that all black color is a waste. You’ll get your moneys worth if it had some color. Might as well buy some Reebok British Knights….Looks better and more comfortable…

Yes, Kaha is the way to go for winter weather
Oh these are fire!
These are cool. I got the Bodega X Hoka Collab Kaha low and I love them. They are so insanely comfortable and they feel so unique.
Nice! Yes, they are so comfy
Is this good to use for winter time? Like if the road is slippery?
Yep, I wear them the most in the winter and the traction is really good
Nice man! These look 🔥
What pants are you wearing? They look sick with this combo 👍🏻
Thanks! 🙏🏾
They're John Elliott nylon cargos
I would like to know what pants also?? Please

Jason Markk makes some good suede cleaning products. That's what I typically use for my shoes

@@SuprDpp bro any reviews on the Kaha 2?

@@SuprDpp thanks bro, can't wait
The cushioning/sole look elevated. What is the height of them? Do they affect your walking as you adapt?
They definitely add some height, but not sure of the exact measurements
What are the pants you've got on in this vid bruhv? Looking good!
Appreciate that! They're John Elliott Himalayan cargos. Love them
Nice review! I'm considering to buy size US 10.5 too but I'm not sure. How long is your foot in cm? Did you go size up for thicker socks? Thanks.
Thanks! I actually went a half size down. My foot is about 26cm
Would your feet get ridiculously hot in these in temperatures above 30c or are they quite breathable? Many thanks
I usually only wear them in cooler weather but my feet never feel too hot in them. Apparently the Gore-Tex is designed to let vapor out but keep water from getting inside so they're pretty breathable
Yeah they do, those are my winter shoes for Berlin so imagine
They dont look black, can I wear these with a black security uniform?
They are blacker in person. I just had a lot of lighting for the video so you can see the details better. But should be fine with a security uniform.
🏆🏆
Difference between these and the anacapa boot?
Anacapas are mid cut and the cushioning is not as plush as the Kahas, so not as good for all day wear
waterproof ?
Yep, they're made with Gore-Tex
What socks are those?
Don't remember exactly, think they're some boots socks I got a couple of years ago from J Crew
Could these work as winter shoes?
Yes definitely. Fall/Winter is when I typically wear mine
i wish i could get these but my feet too small… i’m a 6.5 in “mens” lol fk 😢
That sucks, i wish they did. Just get the smallest size they make and wear a couple of pairs of thick socks 😂
Can you please tell me about the sizee chart hoka to nike hoka to adidas and hoka to Reebok? About the size difference 😊
For these I went half size down compared to what I usually wear in most Nike/Adidas/Reeboks
Bonjour est t’il conseillé de prendre la vrai taille ou 1/2 en plus ?
Merci
I actually went a 1/2 size down. So true to size or half size smaller should be fine
👍👍👍👍❤️
Do they fit true to size?
Yes they do, I've gone through two pairs already and no complaints at all, I think they discontinued the black ones tho smh. I had the green and sand colored ones
They're kind of bulky so I went down a half size, but I think going tts would be ok for these
@@SuprDpp so go your normal size? Or half a size down?
@@andrewtanczyk4009 I usually size down for boots so i'd say half size down for a fit that's more snug but not tight. But thats just my preference
Do these or the gorvtex goat speed have widest width and toe box between the 2
Not sure, I havent seen the Speedgoat in person but would think the Kaha since it has more bulk.
Are shoes true to size?
They have some bulk to them so I went down half a size
@@SuprDpp how much space would you say?
Is the toe hard??
No, they aren't hard like steel toe boots
KAHA OR ANACAPA ?WHICH IS BETTER ?
Kaha for the comfort! Anacapa is good too if you want something more sleek/less bulky
