I really appreciate that, Nick. I'm actually already subbed to your channel and enjoying the recent reviews a lot. You should take my Hightower for a rip sometime.
For real, I've been several times since and it never really gets better, haha! A couple of runs and a couple of beers along with constant reminders to stay aggressive!
Nice man. Your voiceover is kickass. Windrock was my first downhill park. I had a 120 mm travel bike and it was rough. My brake pads needed replacing. This place is crazy. So steep!
Thanks! It's funny, I always cringe listening to my own voice, so that's good to hear. I also toasted my brakes (they were howling!). It's a crazy place for sure, even crazier on a 120mm bike, I bet!
Looks pretty rad.... I'm from Jersey and just started riding less than a year ago and looking for cool spots like this to travel to. It might be kinda rough on me since I ride a hardtail
@@michaelrodgers5105 that’s some extra spice for sure! A 27.5 Hardtail is perfect for the neighboring trails over at Baker Creek. It would be a lot of fun at the new Vee Hollow trails as well. They do rentals at Windrock, so you could always make a trip and just rent a bike for the day that you go there, and explore the other areas on your Hardtail as a pretty fun 3 to 4 day option
@@SemiSendy oh yea definitely. I don't care about going full send with it at all. I've already planned on bringing a spare set of wheels and whatever else I'm planning breaking...
That's a very good question, Matt. I know people are all over the map with their feelings on this subject matter right now, and I'm of the camp that I respect everyones opinions and give people what they ask for their safety. The group you see in this video is my "quaranteam". We stick together and limit our interactions with others to a very high degree. We plan accordingly, and put a lot of thought into how we can adventure together and keep ourselves and others as safe as possible.
Your music flows great with this video! Nice
I appreciate that!
Nice video! WR frightens me as well! Every time I get butterflies
Serious butterflies on those first few shuttles up!
Great job again buddy!
Thanks, homie!
Even the "easy" trails at Windrock are super gnarly. This place is no joke. Nice job!
LouisianaMTB so true, and thank you! Trying our best. Psyched to get back to WR to see where we’re at now!
Super strong work man. Great story telling.

@@SemiSendy Right on man. I'd love to try that Hightower, we'll have to meet up sometime for a ride.
@@nickevenson6687 let's get together at Raccoon when it re-opens. *fingers crossed*
@@SemiSendy Let's do it.
WR brings the pucker factor! It always takes me multiple trips down to finally chill out a bit.

I've yet to check this place out, and I need to! Great vid, as always.

I have a few friends who ride hardtails there, but it's definitely a challenge!
@@SemiSendy I'm also running 27.5's

All I took away from this is the reacharound felt great.
This is definitely the comment of the week. Heck, comment of the year so far! 😂
