As a reenactor watching this inbetween events is a way of therapy for me. The feeling of sitting there for weekends with friends and enjoying your time can't compare to anything.

throwing,archery,foods,cast iron cooking, awesome.bought a spoon carved from a horn,polished like glass.

They were/are an amazing people, artists and crafts people. It's hard to believe the crafts that were made in that time period and yet, they were fierce warriors in time of confrontations. How amazing it would be to travel back to that time. Thanks for sharing.

That was great Tom. I am a 18th and 19th century reenactor in Texas. This looks quite a lot like the venders we have only the food you showed made me hungry. What great looking meat , sausages and bread. Looks like the same kind of people too. You have your Artisans, Reenactors, and some that look like old Hippies that live the lifestyle LOL.

Seeing people sitting around in tents, around fires, knitting, forging, eating, chilling with friends and family around… I feel very relaxed seeing this so thanks Tom very much appreciated. Also the music and montage went well together, I thought there was going to be dialogue but it was all just observation which lets me focus more on whats happening in the Viking Market 🙂

The more the merrier, all we want is that it's respected. Our heritage doesn't have a great track record of being portrayed positively in pop culture, which is understandable considering different perspectives, but there's lots of culture to love and enough room for everyone.
Nothing wrong with cultural appreciation, and we're all a little bit nuts up here in northern Europe, so nothing wrong with that lol
