I am envious of your ability to go out into the woods and spend time like this. your woods are quiet and amazing, where as our woods are usually noisy with people having fun (as they should be having fun) but it would be amazing to have the quiet woods like you do. We put dumplings..dough balls in some soups..mostly chicken. My husband used to put dumplings in saurkraut and pork. I LOVE LONG VIDEOS IN CIMBRER CAMP!!! I WOULD WATCH 1HOUR OR MORE

In England, and New Zealand where I'm from, we might have 'Dumplings' in a soup, a flour mixture maybe with some herbs. Kind of old fashioned but now I'm thinking of trying them in my next soup! Thank you, I love your beautifully crafted gear. Best wishes from NZ 😊

in England (Aengeland) we add "dumpling" made of flour, salt, suet and water to stews and soups, often also adding herbs to the mix for flavour.

Chinese Won Ton soup has a kind of meatball in noodles very similar to yours. I'm glad you could get an earthware pot. It's perfect and stays warm longer than metal ones. 🥘

I live in Arizona U,S,A. I live out of my truck and a small camper, and a tent to cook and stay out of bad weather, I cook with meatballs in a lot of dishes, really like some of your equipment, I like your videos short or long , thank you for making and sharing, oh ,, I do cook out on open fires also, love that, I have tried Mead , some real good (expensive) and love that too, again thanks for sharing,

I am happy to report that the genuine Kickstarter Arinn Firebowl from Kynni arrived yesterday. I love it and can't wait to try it out - unfortunately, we are having a lot of rainy days right now, mixed with some snow. As for the length of your videos: you should do them how you feel most comfortable. Every RUclipsr has their own rhythm and flow. Some make gems for 15 minutes, and others make gems for 50 minutes. Following your own flow is what makes the videos worth watching. If I am too tired to watch them after work (I often come home late), I mark them and watch them on the weekend. I always look forward to your videos.

The soup seemed a bit like "siskonmakkarakeitto" (sisters sausage soup) but I dont know if we put flour balls in our soup in Finland. The soup with dough or flour balls is called "klimppisoppa" (clot soup) here.

Here in Bavaria we make soup with Semulje balls / dumplings, or stew with beef, bacon dice, potatos, carrots and green beans.
I like the longer videos as well, cozy to watch in the evening 😊

Live here in Australia, I work in the mines on a 7 on 7 off roster(days). Any time you put out a video I put it in “watch later” folder till I get home. This allows me to set up my fire, make my coffee and sit back to watch your video. As a lot of the people who have made comments that they are happy with your longer videos, I am in agreement with them. Don’t care how long they are I’ll still watch them. But if a shorter version attracts more people to your channel then I hope it works out for you.😎

A wonderful camp in the snow Tom👍👍very beautiful out there. Spectacular weather with the sun shining and no wind, makes for a great time. I see Cornelius enjoys the snow with enthusiasm, always exploring. The history lesson increased my knowledge of Scandinavia and it's people. Whatever makes you comfortable making content on RUclips is fine with me, short or long videos are no problem as I always make time to watch but I understand your concerns. We put dough pieces into a pan of hot soup and let them cook. My mom made it a lot in the 1960's. Called dumplings here. The pieces resemble and are about the size of biscuits. (USA)

Yes, here in Georgia USA we do make a soup with dumplings, we also make a dish called Chicken and dumplings made with a gravy.
