Tom👍👍 I really enjoy visiting Cimbrer Camp as you always make me feel welcome there with you and Cornelius. I can expect a good time, good food and drinks, good stories or checking out new gear that will enhance my experience. I have the SVEA 123 stove also, great little stove that really talks to you whether making Cimbrer coffee😉or cooking a delicious meal, old school but perfect for the camp life. Strangely enough that breakfast pastry you had looks like what we call a Danish roll or pastry, regardless of origin, they're delicious. Nice looking bushcraft knife and sheath, the blued steel really stands out, I'm sure you'll enjoy using it. Thanks for the trip to Cimbrer Camp, what a nice outing it was. See you next time, take care.
Thanks for joining Cornelius and me again in CimbrerCamp Terry 🏕🔥🐕
It’s always a great pleasure to have you on a visit and I’m glad you like my new knife 🔪 as well. Hope you and your family are having a wonderful Easter 🐣 and I always looking forward to see you in our adventures 🤗🍻 Tom🇩🇰
Hi Tom. Congratulations for your new video. I love the knife you show on it. It looks like a very good knife for camping and bushcraft even if the blade is not very thick. I'm glad you keep improving your team. In my country, it is increasingly difficult to go out to the field with knives, pocketknives, axes... new rules every day. I would like it to be different. Cornelius is still beautiful. I've had a coffee with you because you always make me jealous of it LOL. Kind regards, Tom. Waiting for your new video. A warm hug for you and Cornelius
Always a pleasure when you join us for a nice cup of coffee ☕️ Miguel 🤗🐕 and thanks for your feedback 🔪
Here in Danmark the knife regulations are going the other way and it’s easier to carry knives and axes 🪓 and glad I’m not living in Spain 🇪🇸 if there’s so many problems about this 😆🇩🇰🏕🔥🌲🐕
Tom
My grandmother who was from Denmark would make things called koltches (I probably spelled that wrong) that were similar to those and I loved them. She would make all kinds of pastries and they all were wonderful.
Central Europeans make Kolache, a bread-like pastry with fewer flaky layers.
@@jamesellsworth9673 That's it thanks

Always good to wake up to a relaxing Sunday morning video Tom. The knife looks great 👍 I bought myself a new camp knife as well hand made Damascus with a thick blade but it's not heavy surprising. Hope all is well give Sir Cornelius a pet for me. Be well and safe my friend ✌️

That’s great my friend 😁👍🏻and thanks for the feedback and for visiting us in 🏕🔥🌲
Tom 🐕
I really like the looks of the knife - happy to see you back in camp ! Best !
***Based on the pricepoint the knife would appear to be a very good deal. It is a carbon steel and the blue steel is more corrision resistant and 'harder' than most. This appears to be most similar to a 1095 steel. For a similar ESEE that Tom mentioned you would likely pay over $100US. This knife is $40US and yes I ordered one.
That’s great 😁👍🏻 and I’m sure you’ll enjoy using it 🤗
Thanks for the feedback and for joining us again in my CimbrerCamp 🏕🔥🌲🐕🍻

Nice start to the day. Thanks for another good video. I love my SVEA stove. I replaced the stock cap with a cap that allows me to attach a pump to pressurize the gas so I don’t have to prime with gas and it lights immediately.
Yeah that’s a good solution Peter 😉👍🏻🔥 and maybe I’ll get one of those someday 🤔
See you again soon 🏕🌲🐕

It is fine to be back at Cimbrer Camp! You know that I am a fan of your own design for a bushcraft seax. Mine has arrived from Bearded Pig Forge and it works as well for me as the one you had made elsewhere. I have a 'drawer full' of hand-forged belt knives: right out of the box, each works differently, depending on what bit of wood I pick up to split or to carve curls or whatever. This makes each knife difficult to compare to the others.
Yes that's true you have to chose which is best for the task ahead
Exactly James 😉👍🏻 and I’m glad you got the Seax and like it too. Thanks for the kind feedback and loving support
See you again soon 🏕🔥🌲

Good morning Tom I was just sitting here having some coffee when got the notification. It was a nice visit to camp. I kinda like that knife. I know beavercraft makes some good carving tools . I have a spoon gouge that I've had for almost a year and use it a lot and I only have to sharpen it about once a month. It's great to see you my friend and I will see you again on the next adventure.

Beaver Craft does make some excellent carving tools in my opinion. I own several of them. I like to carve spoons. The thinner blade can be made sharper than the thicker ones and will slice thru wood better.

Tom
A small knife blade with a "Scandi" sharpening corresponds to the recommendations of Mors Kochanski, the founder of the principles of "northern bushcraft", because the knife should first of all be a tool for working with wood - planing, durable, relatively heavy for chopping blows. The key to survival in the wild forest is the extraction of dry wood chips, the installation of a shelter for the night and animal traps. However, Morse never singled out "batoning" as an important bushcraft skill) Fine motor skills are more important in cutting out the attachment points of wooden parts. To do this, he came up with the principle of testing "trystick", which develops the skill of owning a knife and checks the compliance of the knife for the ability to perform key procedures.

Greetings Tom! I always enjoy the intro and that music, it puts me right into cozy-mode 😊 And it sums up your channel perfectly.
Concerning cakes, these days around Easter in Bavaria / Germany we eat a simple cake called Osterlamm (easter lamb), which has the shape of a lamb with a little flag on it. It is a sweet alternative of the christian tradition of having a roasted lamb on easter sunday.
The knife looks interesting for smaller tasks and preparing food I guess.

Hail og sael brother! I just got a new bushcraft knife as well. It is the BPS Adventurer from the Ukrain. It’s awesome!
Looks like a great knife too 😉👍🏻 and I hope it’ll work well for you my friend 🏕🔥

Sir.Tom, The great Leonardo da Vinci said "Simplicity is the highest level of sophistication" and you reached this level for being an incredible guy, thank you very much for teaching us that Lord Jesus protect you and your family ....🇧🇷
Thank you so much Gilbert for your kind words 🤗 and for following me on my little adventures. Happy Easter too you and your family 🏕🔥🐕

A cracking little stove there "Tom" and I also like your smock but 180 euros is a bit much for me and I would not get too much wear out of it as I don't get out that much.
I was in the British Army Catering Corps and we used a 2-gallon field stove called a number one burner that made 80,000 British thermal units of heat at 60 PSI pressure and you should hear the noise that thing made.
A Good knife, you may want to strop it from time to time keeps a nice edge
Take care mate, and have a good one.
Thanks for your feedback Robert 😉👍🏻 for sharing your experience with me and for joining Cornelius and I again in CimbrerCamp 🐕🏕🔥🌲
Tom
👍👍🌲🔥
Thanks Tobiasz 😁👍🏻🏕🔥
Tom
Tom ty for sharing this fine video, knife looks great, I don’t use my knifes for batoning or fire starting, I use my knives as knives and this one seems to work well…
Exactly Ben 😉👍🏻 and I’m sure it’ll serve me well when I’m out bushcrafting 🏕🔥
Tom
Make it a true scandi grind and it will significantly improve its cutting abilities
Thanks Aleksander for sharing your thoughts with us 😉👍🏻 and for your visit in CimbrerCamp 🏕🔥🌲🐕🌤️
Tom
That is a great video 🏆📯🐿🏕Great bowsaw. That little knife of yours is quite swell as a kitchen knife. Same size as the Ika I use for my meals. Except it has been forged in China and drop forged in stainless steel with teeths like a saw, very useful to saw meat. The sheath you showed is exceptional. Great craft. 🦉🔥🐕
Yeah great knife and sheath 😉👍🏻 and thanks for your feedback Mike and for coming along again 🏕🔥🌲
Tom
Looks like Primus's wee brother. NO pumping up? 😲
No 😉 I’ll run itself when heated up 👍🏻🔥 great system … I get stressed when I have to pump all the time 😆 lol … a great stove 🏕🌲

Hallo Tom,

Kaffeestückchen and Spandau it's a part from the City of Berlin. Also if that little Cake is filled with Pudding, we called Puddingstückchen.
Regards Walter
PS : I am not a friend of Batoning as long i got my Hatchet with me , or if i am in a Emergency situation
Thanks for sharing your info about German cake 😁👍🏻 and for joining us again in CimbrerCamp 🏕🔥🌲🐕🇩🇰
Tom
They probably call them Danish because they know Danish people like them. 🍪🍯☕
Yeah or brought them with them to the states many years ago 😉👍🏻🇩🇰🐕Tom
The knife has a bigger brother: the BSH1, & it has a true Scandi grind.
Yeah I know 😉👍🏻 and I had hoped for getting this 😁 but the company wants to to promote their new knife 🔪 so maybe I’ll get it another time 🤗🏕🔥🌲🐕Tom 🇩🇰
