I am the youngest in the group...the oldest student is 93. Thanks for the useful information. I am working on creating notes for the steps on using skype. I personally go to my +80 year old lady student because she is visually impaired and living in an assisted living center..so instead of getting her all frustrated on using it, I go to her and skype the class from her room. It is quite fun. I can start meetings but sometimes I forget the steps on how to invite the others.

Hi Roger, The Skype interface may appear different on different devices, but it's also possible that they have made changes to the way the program looks since we created this video earlier this year. We have an updated version of "How to Use Skype" on our list of videos to create in the future.

Spring, you can enlarge the window of the Skype desktop App the same as any browser window. When you video call/chat ask your party to assist you while you find the icons that will remove yourself from the main window. I know it can be done but I cannot remember where that icon is . I know that it is NOT found in the 'settings' portion.

Yet these same people were the ones who came against me it seems. Using me to make connections where they themselves couldn't. I haven't used Skype in a long time.

Microsoft owns Skype, that's why. You do not need credit to use Skype, you only need credit if you want to make calls to a regular phone number instead of another Skype user.
