One of my "kickin' myself in the ass" moments: Mid 1980's had a lady friend whose dad was a professional singing instructor. He was personal friends with Mitchell Parish who was like an uncle to my lady friend. I was invited but passed up an opportunity to meet him. I often caution folks younger then myself that you will not regret things that you did half as much as you will the things you didn't do. The list gets longer.
