How hot has it been getting there? Here it's been 106 every day for the last 2 weeks. They told us to not turn off the vans anymore because it's just too dang hot. Good ole Texas. It'll be 110-115 by August. I take that vest off as soon as I leave the station
You should incorporate driving videos of the area and streets. You don’t have to necessarily film the clients home but the area would be more interesting I think.
random question but do you need a special license like a chauffeur’s license before driving a step van for Amazon or did they give you one in the process of your training or no?

I don't understand the question. Sorry, lol. My personal phone has a magnetic thing on the back, so I usually just use the phone mounts that are inside the vans. Most of our vans have 2 mounts.
@@krisp35Thank u for answering the question by mentioning the van has two magnetic phone mounts. My DSP doesn't let you use your personal phone only the company-issued one. Thank you.
@@krisp35 I’m starting this week Monday with the three-day training. I have experience in this field because I worked for UPS in the warehouse and delivered in a golf cart during peak. Can you do pros and cons of this DSP job as a little overview?
Some pros are that you don't have to deal with people and decent pay. (Step van drivers get paid more) Some cons are that the job can be hard on the body at first. And it's super hot during the summer. .

It hasn't gotten that hot yet, but the humidity is outrageous this week, which, to me, is worse than a 100-degree day with low humidity, lol

No, you don't need that type of license. You do need to pass a DOT physical and training.
