Day in the life - Amazon Delivery Driver - Peak Season has arrived.
Ive been following this channel for sum time now just wanna say i appreciate all the tips & advice on everything about being a Amazon Driver, it'z my third/fourth week 💯
I start training next week. I’m actually excited.
Hi. How is it. Soon starting my training.
@@CROTCH_ROCKET_JOE find another job as fast as possible lmaooo.
200+ stops? Yeah thats a long day. Do you take all your breaks? They will adjust your route and give you fewer stops if you do. Always enjoy your videos. Be safe..
I don't take an actual break. I do one wawa stop in and out
I'm in a Sub Same Day FC and Monday evening was fairly busy but my next shift Wednesday evening was totally off-the-charts busy. Just a never ending flow of packages. This evening I'm working and it'll surely be even crazier, if that's even possible. Welcome to Peak :)
I work for Amazon and I do 100-something stops to 200 stops but when is night time oh yeah just be ready for them back road and other stops. I do 60 stops in 2 and a half hours and take my lunch at 3:30 pm.
Thanks for taking the time to make really cool videos. Im a driver in northern california for the brown guys 😊 cool to see how abother conpany operates and what your day looks like
Weird feeling to go near stranger people home that too when there are no people around.
Seen lot of crime documentary that now i always to observe lot around me..😂
Have small pepper spray around waist just for safety.
My favourite content in RUclips is Mr ballen, all type of delivery route vlogs, TRID and sheena and the kings of queen.
Got the OK to join. Now waiting to get the urine test notification. I’m in the Hamptons. Waiting to get the training. Hope 🙏. It works out.
The battery for the phone lasts longer in dark mode.
Why are there no ports to keep the damn phones charged?
Eating in the van?!?! I was told NO!!! While driving.
I was never told not to eat while driving....as long as your eyes stay on the road, I don't see the issue lol
I've been delivery for about 3 months now part-time for a DSP. I'm honestly tired, My knees are killing me and I don't seem to finish on time. I hear others say they finish early and all that but I never seem to be able to do that. I try to organize but during peak that just passed it was impossible with all the overflow. I don't drive a Amazon branded truck, we have rental trucks that don't' have shelving and all that. I'm hoping after peak it gets better but I'm really not enjoying the job. The stupid galaxy phone basically what they call a rabbit the routes get on my last nerve. I'm always having to turn around, it seems like it has me making circles. Any suggestion on that? Any organization tips? Ways to finish faster? Now I do take a break, I usually only take about 20 minutes and not use the 15 minute breaks because I don't want to out all night.
Happy you ever thought about driving for FedEx or UPS?
Would you recommend this driver job? Im currently an
amazon dsp walker😅
Quick shout out to the warehouse workers for giving me 24 bags for only 250 packages. I am sure those bags that only had 2 packages in it really needed their own separate bag
Talked to warehouse worker about that guess it’s a rule they have to follow even if it’s one envelope idk why it’s really dumb just waste time emptying it and filling other totes. I hate when they put boxes sticking up out of the top too high so it doesn’t fit in the shelves in the EDV so you have to either take some out or most of the time I’ll find a way to make it fit flat cuz they were to dumb to figure it out
It’s not just you, it’s, at the very least, nation wide, so don’t feel bad, lol. For instance, people that normally get 14+ bags, non-peak, are seeing 20+ bags, peak.
Forget it, if you're normally seeing 20 bags. With peak, you're seeing upwards of 30, or more.
Most bags now have less packages in them, so they're easier to manage, I guess. Still stupid, and wasteful, though, and pretty much impossible to fit 😏🙄
no engine compliance where you are??? and i see dat seat belt! lol i just do it the right way for some reason..
I turn off my engine now. Especially because of the area I deliver in.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
how long does it take you to finish 300+ packages on average? did you get rescued often?
I don't get rescued at all. When I first started, I did, of course. 300+ packages take me anywhere from 5-7 hours lol but it really depends on the route I have and how many groups stop there are and things like that.
@@krisp35 gotcha thank you for your input. I just started my first week delivery on nursery route and I got them done in a pretty good amount of time I would say. Its a pretty chill job honestly
Geez 200!! How much does your dsp expect u to deliver an hour?
25
@@krisp35 ah I’ve been a driver for my second week now fresh outta my nursery routes went from 120 to 160 my 1st day lol…but 200 sounds crazy too me lol
Like what to do when it’s late and having trouble seeing and also restroom breaks?
You just use a flashlight. If you have to use the restroom, stop somewhere.
Any new video coming out again soon?
I'm working on a video now! Hopefully, it'll be done tonight
@@krisp35 oh that’s great I look forward to it 😊☺️😄
Open the glove compartment and place a tote on the passenger seat so that you have a platform to put the things in order. You no longer need a box.
How is netradyne not buggin with your phone in your hand?
As long as your eyes aren't looking down for more than a few seconds, lol
@@krisp35 ahh ok,
