Love the Aliens franchise as well!! I feel the same way about Prometheus!! I think it’s one of the best in the series! Aliens 3 has its moments but it was cursed because Aliens was so good. They were never going to create that magic again. Covenant was good in the theater, I didn’t hate it. More to come… work…

It's hard to say because the first Alien and Aliens are such drastically different films. The first one, in my opinion, is a fantastic horror movie. It sets everything up that you'd expect in a horror movie - it's perfect! The second one is like this amazing military action packed movie with aliens in it. They're just both completely awesome. Alien 3 had potential. I like the concept of it, but it was not executed well at all. That had a lot to do with studio interference. The workprint shows promise but I agree the CGI is horrible. The less we talk about Alien Resurrection the better. That movie just was not for me. Prometheus, upon my first viewing, I was not a fan of but upon subsequent viewings it's really grown on me. I do know think it is a worthy follow-up to the Alien series. Covenant was okay. Not the greatest but also not the worst. One thing I will add is that I do love how they kept pumping out new films but always changing the genre fro a horror movie, to an army movie, to a prison movie, to a rag tag group from that was a precursor to FireFly. If you like the whole Alien vibe there was a TV show on HBO Max produced by Ridley Scott. In my head cannon it totally connects to the Alien franchise. It was called Raised by Wolves . Sadly it only got two seasons and ended on a cliffhanger which really sucks, but it was very intriguing and interesting! Definetly worth a watch. The androids even blwed the same white milk fluid that Bishop and David's characters do.
