Honest. I always like to watch the videos of my match after I face a streamer. One streamer in particular said I must have been toxic for playing the Ormond offering. I was surprised to say the least. I play map offerings because I enjoy how the map looks. If they took away some of Ormonds loops I'd still play the offering because its a nice looking map.
To be fair, they were weak at loops (But old ormond would still allow them to win anyway). They got baited by fake pallets 6-7 times, they got mindgames at every simple mindgame and ran into dead zones multiples times. They also played on only one part of the map with 1 jungle gym v2. Maybe the other side of the map was filled with more jungle gym ?
It's funny how he's talking like he's playing vs some sweaty swf but literally all of em were potatoes :D And yes, no map would allow them to win, they were just garbage at the game.
The biggest problem of their play that I see is that they literally played their chases on the side of the map where they had already used all their pallets. If any of them were competent they would've moved to any other part of the map, but instead they played on a quarter. The map certainly looks better than it was, but I don't think this team was the best example of how it could be used.
Tru: Survivor mains take this game way too seriously. Stretched screens, 4 man swf, tactics, etc. Also Tru: Knows every single spot of where anything can possibly spawn, consistently tries to get into his opponent's head, plays strategically in every second of his gameplay and analyzis the whole game while playing.
Before the update I got a variation of Ormond, where there were like 6 T&L's, and 0 Long Wall, Short Wall, or C Wall Jungle Gyms. They were still close together, but it felt like a balanced map. There weren't many pallets at all.
Regarding Spies From The Shadows I do think it's giving the perk short shrift if you think that just because you can easily spot birds it doesn't do anything at all. It's not just a bird color swap to make them easier to see, it's also a bird wall hack so you can see birds that are normally impossible to see. (I remember one game with where I had Spies on Lery's. It was insanely good! Birds I would never have seen came up behind the walls constantly, it was almost like have some of Doctor's Static Shock ability.) Of course I'm not claiming there aren't better perks overall or depending on playstyle. But I do think it's useful to at least be aware of the benefit the perk has which extends beyond your normal senses.
some of the dead zones on these maps are crazy. now it's easier than ever for a killer not going against 4 man SWF to 4k. I play both sides a lot. yet before this patch, it was harder to rank up as the killer. I'm getting a lot of hits just from survivors being out positioned bc their in a dead zone or their team got rid of the 9 pallets on the map.
When I put Ormond it's just because I like how the map looks, I didn't even know it was survivor sided, you always assume survivors are toxic but they aren't necessarly.
@@josephb4224 Which would be amazing. If they insisted on it being a Hex I think it should be one of those inhabiting multiple totems perks. Each one you break reduces the stacks of the lullaby but it remains until you cleanse all of them. THAT would make the risk equal the reward perhaps. In fact I think most Hex perks should do that... except NOED. That one is fine the way it is. Imagine if Ruin had tickets on it for each Totem you had up and was super strong early game but as you break more totems it falls off but even if you do that Ruin will have done it's job and Ruin would have counter play where you just don't leave the gen and rush it. This would also buff all Totem builds and indirectly buff inner strength since more totems can spawn as a result perhaps. It would make Haunted Grounds stronger even if you left it the way it was. Survivors would have FEAR finally. I think that one change would flip the game on it's head and really help out. (I also don't think you change Devour hope as if it had all it's stacks at the start you'd spiral out of control.)

But that idea would work or atleast have huntress lullaby start off with full stacks and each injured survivor decreases the stacks . That way if they decide to heal, they deal with harder skill checks. Or if they risk staying injured to counter the perk, its leaves them open to be 1 shot downed. Or at the very least, just take it off as a Hex, and make it a tiny bit weaker . Even tho its weak as it is
I know they didn’t change it this update but what update did they make it to where doctor’s shock range add ons no longer increases the charge time of the shock as well? Because I can’t find the answer anywhere online. The range add ons use to always increase the charge time of shock therapy.
Yea I remember a few months ago his range add ons also increased the time to charge the shock . Honestly I forgot when I realized they changed it to where it doesnt add time. Might have been a small change they included with a recent update that wasnt in the notes. Because around 2 or 3 updates ago it was still increasing the time .
They added like the mouldy electrode range to his base kit and changed all the electrode addons to give slightly more range but not increase the wideness of the cone
Maybe they picked it to see what the changes were.. since the patch I've noticed that a lot of players (killer and survivor) are picking maps.. maybe they just wanted a peek at the changes to the map they enjoyed previously, don't always turn to the negative, even if the intention was a negative one, it will only eat you up inside.
Yep. On the patch that released Yeehaw Speargun Man, they buffed a lot of Doctor's add-ons, streamlined the Madness build-up mechanics and made it so Madness doesn't decay anymore. The range add-ons got changed to a flat increase of range (which is actually slightly higher than their previous iterations) and they removed the charge-time penalty of Shock Therapy those add-ons used to apply.
I disagree on the changes. Maps are dependent yes but like you said also what killer you choose. Playing both killer and survivor in this update I think they just keep nerfing survivors in my opinion. And I don't have a preference on what side to play. Just looking at it both sides and weighing pros and cons. Keep it up mate love your content 🔥✌️
Holly molly those guys have so many hours and can't achieve rank 1 survivor xD? Well I got this game in quarantine and have been loving playing it, start watching tru3 since pretty much I got the game (first guy I discovered that was actually pretty chill and entertaining in both sides(survivor and killer)) and I achieved rank 1 survivor in about 150 hours of gameplay, and I don't play only survivor, I play killer too so I mean, those guys with thousands of hours and are still low red/purple ranks, damm, they're "potatoes" xP, btw love your vids tru3, much love from Portugal! ❤️
What are you complaining about? If they aren't that good, why should they be in red ranks? Playing the game for a long time doesn't mean you're automatically good. Some people need more time to learn. Ranking up as survivor is too easy as it is, so we don't need any more boosted guys at rank 1. It's good that they aren't there yet, because they certainly don't have the skill for it. I can't wait till they fix the ranking system, so it is actually a ranking system where your rank matches your skill.

Map is still broken I went against a team as legion on that map and they weren't even good but they still all escaped because its pallet town. And the Meg clicked her flashlight and T bagged at the exit gate. The only thing they did was do gens and not loop well BTW I'm rank 3

Could be your region or platform. Or maybe youre just insanely good at killer. Most of the teams i face are very efficient on gens, no matter how fast my chases are. One bad chase will often lose the game against red ranks. Atleast in my experience. The survivors in this vid were very weak tho.
