- From the 2006 UK TV series 'A Brief History of Fun'. How coffee came to England long before Italians had a taste for it. London's 17th century coffee shop boom - and why tea took over as the national drink. Plus the 1950s espresso bar, and the modern revival of coffee shop culture - including a visit to Costa Coffee's roastery. Presented by Dr Matthew Sweet.
