Nice cards! Love the 90s stuff. I totally agree that sgc tightened up. I mostly do vintage baseball, but they were ROUGH on my 2 very recent orders… about a grade lower than what I expected on all my cards. I had to file a claim that one card was damaged during grading… luckily had before photo evidence. Damage could be on the case which is another issue. Wondering if they are rushing through QC for fast turnaround..

I learn a lot from your videos. Just noticed 2 of my slabs had that small PSA crack in the top right as well. Great channel, your card selection is awesome keep it up!
I just got back my 13 card SGC submission, and I was very disappointed by the professionalism. Majority of my cards came back with black dust on the actual card from the slab, and with very notable scratches on the slab. As well as cards coming back looking worse than when I sent them. A couple of the cards I would assume have gotten a PSA 10 but came back SGC 9.5. And some of my cards were VERY condition sensitive with all black borders front and back and they had very little whitening to them, but they got the 8.5! I probably just got a new grader, but I was still disappointed and will be questioning future submissions with them.
Dang, really sorry to hear that. That would give me pause too 😬 I hope they redeem themselves if you decide to use them again. I’m going to give them a couple more orders to get a better feel for how they’re currently grading 👍 Thanks for always watching!
Had a similar results, tried SGC for speed, cracked a few BGS and PSA slabs to test and the grades went down drastically where SGC tends not to grade so hard, sadly will have to crack and just send to PSA and play the pray for the grader game with them. I get the want for speed but when the PSA slabs sell for more, they have a monopoly.
Good stuff, LV! Curious how you price SGC in your store and does it sit for awhile? I love them as a service and graders but I struggle to send them more Stuff cause I sit on their slabs a bit. Maybe it’s my pricing? I try to price them around 80% PSA for gems with offers on. Curious what you do!
Thanks! I feel like I price my SGC stuff 75% of what I would PSA. And honestly my SGC slabs don’t sit for much longer than my PSA stuff. I feel like there is still a solid market for SGC graded cards. I think the key is always grading unique cards 👍

I agree SGC has tightened up…just got a card back that was just a smidgen OC n pulled a 9.5…in ok with it, it’s a super low numbered auto pop 1… my last 2 orders with SGC were 4 days & 2 days…my issue is it’s taking 8 days for the PO to deliver my submission…great video as always! Have cracked the new PSA slabs? I cracked 3 and was a pain and damaged one card and it was close with other 2. The side and bottom seal are hard to break and the plastic that covers the card will break before the sides
It’s a pain cracking out the new slabs :( One trick is to put the slabs in the freezer for 1 hour, then crack them out 👍 Seems to make the slabs crack a lil easier in the right spots. Good luck! Thanks for watching
You can definitely still submit with the peel still on 👍 It just usually grades lower, and doesn’t give you a real shot at a gem 10. So if it’s not for my PC then I like to peel 🤙 Thanks for watching!
The cards in the PSA order is what I want to just send in all the time. 90s and early 00s. Just have to find ones that are worth which is getting harder and harder. Love the Nolan I think my brother still has that in one of those wood plaque card displays from the 90s.
Took your advice & sent a small stack to SGC @ the $12 special. Pulled some cool 10s! Your PSA grader seems similar to my last order, kinda stingy. Some of those 8s look minty! Sick Nolan tho

I agree. The Nolan sold fast for me. I’m glad people appreciated it. I had five clean Griffey’s from that set too but all off center :(

Those stadium club football refractors are so hard to grade I’ve never gotten over an 8

The 90’s full bleed cards are just impossible. I don’t understand what PSA is looking for with those.
