what if you use your phone for navigation, and have a mount on the dashboard, sometimes you have to touch the screen... so now you cant use your phone for navigavtion, but, if you have a touch screen in your car, you can touch that...?
@PantheraOnca60 I fully support law enforcement, but there's no excuse for more and more laws that don't apply to them. They have even more technology to avoid touching a phone while driving anyway, it's a joke.
What a _stupid_ law! Rather than allow people to make their own _choices_ or hold anyone accountable for doing something stupid, a new law now exists to keep everyone safe - and in line. Not that car radios, barking spouses or a messy cheeseburgers can't distract a driver. And it's not like a $75 "fine" won't go up or anything either. It feels like we just lost a little of our freedom. ...Queue up the "Dragnet" theme... Dumb, dumb, dumb, _DUMB!_
If you phone yakkers and text monkeys were capable of sound judgement, rather than being a bunch of entitled little narcissists, there wouldn't have to be a law. Growing up is hard, isn't it? 🙄
@@TalkJury2Me i think we can all agree with that. but.. this law is really stupid... is looking at your in car touch screen safer than looking at your phone? ..... commercial vehicles exmept? so its ok for the semi truck driver to look at his phone but not you or i?... lol stupid. its not about keeping people safe.. its about exercising control and making it look like they care about peoples safety.
@@TalkJury2Me You're RIGHT! Cellphones and driving are not just stupid but also dangerous! But that's _still_ not a good enough reason to ban it. Some people can actually do crap like that. Others may decide to just take the chance. And should that chance result in the killing of someone, NO EXCUSES! An irresponsible phone-head not doing what they should be doing while operating a multi-ton behemoth of death should face the death penalty or life behind bars if it terminates someone's life! My advice would be to NOT TAKE THAT GAMBLE! ...Most mistakes can be forgiven but not ALL of them. Some choices have consequences.
lol commercial vehicles are exempt? you mean the most dangerous ones? wow... such bs

Yeah because no one does drugs because they're illegal.
Another law that doesn't apply to law enforcement.
Law enforcement is doing a job that you can't fathom, so your opinion is expressed ignorance.

@@PantheraOnca60 Why is crime on the rise then?

What?! Looking at and focusing in on your phone while driving is super dangerous.
