I love that old L.A. architecture from the 1920's, '30's. Beats that crap of those stark soul-less contemporary monstrosities they build today any day of the week.
To walk, touch and breath the same surroundings, as Jim and Pamela (and Sage), has to be an exhilarating sensation. The two ate, fought, laughed, cried, made love, on and on, these very spaces. Sure, a little nonsensical, but it’s coming up to 50 years of losing Jim and 47 years of losing Pamela, so it’s a bit nostalgic.
Back in the late 60's and early 70's this was nice. Pamela lived in the apartment by herself most of the time. It's an upscale neighborhood in the very expensive Los Angels county area.

Maybe live but their career as recording artists was brilliant. None can rival Jim Morrison, not even mick jagger. Jim was the ultimate frontman who influenced everyone. Started punk by proxy when a young James osterberg saw them, inspired patti smith.
@Salam A. it’s always been an extremely expensive area to live in, and it wasn’t even his apartment initially. he moved in with pam. my guess would be that he/they really liked the location. one of his favorite restaurant/bars was right near it

A lot of history went on in that apartment between Jim and Pam. If only to be a fly on the wall back then. It's also the last US resistance the two of them shared before moving to Paris where Jim would never return.
You can hear the cars pass by the window likes the waves down on the beach
Just make sure you turn out the lights after the music stops.
U sounded like jim for a second lol
He sure did
Kelly Norman woah man that’s like your opinion lol
Yeah, I think he did it on purpose 😅

I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl…Best Night Ever!
I find it all fascinating.
Jim must of had some hard times going up those stairs with no railing.
Lol
It was Pams' apartment but I guess you can say Jim lived there...sometimes.
I read that he paid for it so technically I guess it was his.
He paid for everything - she didn't have to do nothing except junk.
great
💚
that’s a nice-looking place
is this at 8214 Norton Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90046? its funky in WAY
Not the bathroom! No, no, don't go into the bathroom!
(Whoops, I was thinking Paris)
Was that on Kirkwood? It’s been so long...
Is this in LA?

Check the wall outside apparently there is blue paint from Jim's mustang scaped on it.
more fun than it is now ill bet
who painted the place..Prince?
😂
I believe that this was Pam’s apartment and he moved here after the fire in the Love Street house.
So did he set the love street house on fire?
thought he just ordered food from here??
That was from the apartment below, Pamela's best friend Diane Gardner lived in the downstairs unit.

OK
Except for the awful paint looks like jimbo might still be in residence
Yep terrible choice lol
Cool. Dude what happen. Not long enough. 😂
hey, you saw his towel, aint that enough for ya?
Jim lived like a bum, going from place to place.
Morrison was very much a nomad..
That was normal in the hippie culture at the time.
It was very different times than now..

Morrison hotel 😎
Jim Morrison and the Doors were so over rated.. I saw them twice live. There were so many other bands of that era that were so much better...
Yet you saw them twice ✔️
Obviously Rock wasn’t your thing

I mean, their live performances where, most of the time crap (definitely a downgrade from the studio ver), and that mostly because of jims drinking
@@end.olives in the later stages absolutely, I think Hollywood bowl shows they were pretty solid when they had it together though.
Why did he live in a dive like that? Didn't he have any money?
It was considered a nice apartment in the 1970. Also it's a very expensive area.
