- A video I made for Pamela Courson Morrison, common-law wife of The Doors' Jim Morrison.
Some of the images included are rare/uncommon.
I tried to tell a story with the order of the images.. you'll notice that towards the end of the pictures that Pamela is now on her own.
The original intended audio was "Alabama Song" by The Doors, but, well, you know how it works.

Pam Courson Morrison was so beautiful and enchanting. Her spirit seem so lovely too. I could see why she was Jim's true only love & cosmic mate. Also the great and lovely poetry Jim Morrison written about her. I hope & pray that their souls are together forever. :)

She had a unique beauty and she loved Jim. Addiction is a horrible sickness and they both paid for it with their lives. They are at peace now.

A lot of people kind of worship this girl, and yea...she was a stunner! However she was _really_ mixed up. She was an addict but lots of people are. l just wish she would have gotten her shit together and pulled through. Her _WHOLE LIFE_ was Jim. lt was her identity. Sad!

The most beautiful girl in the world, she was young, she was in Paris and she had her man. Drugs ruined it all for both of them. I will always miss them.

Ray Manzarek played the piano for Pam's funeral
Love this rendition of Reverie by Claude Debussey. Oddly enough Gordeeva and Grinkov skated to this. Grinkov also died young at 28 of a heart attack. The video of this performance is on youtube.

Nicely done. The couple were perfect for each other, had an open relationship which worked for them. Wish both would of gotten help for drugs so that they could of been around a lot longer, sad they died too young. Drugs in that era were pretty common.

There were only a few pictures in this video that I have not seen before. Pamela Courson was an extremely attractive woman. If she didn't overdose on heroine, we might have found out more about how Jim died in Paris, France. Now all we can do is speculate.

After Jim died Pam cut her hair
Yes she did. Patricia Kennealy cut hers short first because of her pagan religion. She was the only other one that Jim took seriously AND they went through a true (pagan) wedding for what its worth. She wrote a great book called "Strange days" in about 1991 and it was really good. She doesn't talk too nice about Pam though and believe me she's got her reasons. Great book that fills in TONNES of blank spots.

yes it's sad that Pam died. but I think Jim Morrison did not have any taste in women. he could have done so much better. pam was ok looking. she was not beautiful. but I hope that they are in heaven together. just my opinion I think it's a very sad story. wow so young.

Debra Franklin would you like someone to say something like that to you after the man you loved walked away with another woman?Now if you have been paying any attention to this man he had an minds eye that was different than how most people see what one might call beauty or how they judge the emotion love as others see it; because they are artist people understand that they are different and thats what makes them "SPECIAL".So when they make that choice of a mate unless their attitude exudes that which is ugly we tend to see the beauty in them too;just because the Artist thinks so! He or She teaches us through their choice that indeed"Beauty IS in the eye of the Beholder" due to someone like Jim Morrison who could have his choice of any gorgeous lady on his arm befitting his so called stature that clearly he wasnt impressed by chose the most lovely of soul woman on planet earth that he could see.It was not for us to look at and decide if she fit what "they"wanted for him, he was going to have what was good for Jim!I have met many people with chemical issues and though they are so beautiful,for some reason they dont seem to belong here and are always in pain with the world , because they are incredible dreamers and if you ask them during moment of clarity they can define for you how things should be, yet they arent and thats what they cannot get over .So you either walk away or you get to watch the long tomorrow, and even if they overcome that dream and start to live as mere mortals there still exists the sadness of the dream that was that couldnt be that happens if that demon takes someone so lovely that maybe its best they went away.That world of Heroin ,I,know very well and in it there exist one fear only,and that is ..........that there will be no more of the drug , otherwise all is well.
