I went to this place when I visited my friend in NYC. It was everything that I expected - totally worth the trip to go out of the way there. And the employees were awesome, and I got to meet the great owner. Such a genuine and kind dude. I felt absolutely wrecked when I left because I ate so much tasty pizza. 10/10 would do again. Impossibly, I was even able to find parking 30 feet from the storefront.
Kristy pizza has gone viral because the owners treat every pie as their masterpiece. They stay true to their recipe, no skimping on the ingredients, and crafted to perfection.
I believe they have about 6 locations the owners are very passionate with their products especially slick Freddie beautiful hair , great review I'm craving pizza now thanks Antonio.
That’s probably a good idea for you to go back and re-review the establishments during the pandemic. Since probably most of them were severely understaffed and a very limited menu. Also I love the way you gave multiple reviews to one establishment in different varieties of slices, I hope you keep that up in the future. What stole the show for me was the pesto slice that looked phenomenal. Side note: where I live in Nashville a Brooklyn family retired and closed down the best two pizzerias in the city. Recently, F&F in Brooklyn opened up a pizzeria and a high class Italian restaurant the pizza is phenomenal and we finally have a quality New York style pizzeria back in Nashville. Happy holidays buddy!!
Oh nice, glad you get to experienec F&F ! It was tough to talk about all those pizzas in under 8 minutes, I don't want to make long videos. I could've kept talking for hours lol
That looks sooooo goood I can just see the flavors. You cant find that kind of pizza nowadays, that's quality right there. Its the family and their heart that makes the pizza worth eating and supporting.
They have lots of variety and they do it all very well. Definitely not your average pizzeria, it's above average, when it comes to classic Brooklyn/NY style pizzas.
@pizzareviewsonthego Filomenas in the Bronx became a table service restaurant. Still amazing but no more slices. They sell by the pie only now and renamed themselves City Island Pizza Co.
I should've cut less footage and elaborated more. I try to keep my vids under 8 minutes. I think it was that pinwheel that started their social media success.
@pizzareviewsonthego You should do Andrew Bellucis in Astoria. Of the new school pizza places it's the best. Better than Lindustrie and Lucia and Mama Too.
Should've gone specialty slice bud. From LI, def gonna try this place. At least one of its locations. Seen alot of their shorts but you are the first I've seen actually eating it. Nice vid
It started getting packed now. You get people from all over. Reminded me of DiFara when it attracted big crowds 10-15 years ago. They got plenty of seating there.
@pizzareviewsonthego The thing is there are a lot of other places just like Krispy pizza. There's JV and DaVinci. There are a bunch of places all over too. Brothers in Queens is super old school. Brothers makes Chicken Rolls and Calzones only if you order them fresh and hot.
@pizzareviewsonthego I love how these old school places are being recognized. Last several years the more hipster establishments have gotten all the love.
I've always liked the variety of pizzas that some places offer. You can have your pick or try more than one. I like the extra saucy ones, but they all have their special appeal to the pizza lovers of this great country.
I think their best slices are their Grandma and Fresh Mozzarella (Margherita). I love the tomato sauce on those slices. Their soups are great. I’ve been eating at this Krispy location for over eighteen years.
I grew up in Bensonhurst and so I just used to go to DaVinci and L&B. Krispy pizza is mostly great, I used to go to Pizza Wagon too a lot because I was in Bay Ridge more than Dyker Heights.
My mo.s from new jersey, like your accent. I think. Those where the best. Loaded hot dog, peppers, onions, fresh steak fries and sauce. The best in the world. Flavor equals love my friends.
I like your style. Incognito, quiet out the background sound. Polar opposite of barstool. Definitely need to try this place out. I’ve been to their Freehold NJ location which is owned by his brother, about 5-6 years ago. Definitely delicious pizza
I actually just started the voiceover, it helps when it's cold out so the pizza stays warm. If you watch my older videos I was always outside reviewing on the fly.
I got to go to the Brooklyn location, pulled off the turnpike and dropped by the Jersey City location. I got a standard Sicilian pie to go. They bake their Sicilian doughs ahead of time and then they sauce and cheese them up to order. I think it dries things out a bit. Not terrible but not great. They literally had Sicilian crusts stacked on top of one another off to the side of the oven. This didn’t feel like a par-bake scenario, it was just a time saving measure to pump things out quickly.
@pizzareviewsonthego lol Above average. Those are the best. If I had to recommend someone try NY pizza from out of town those would be on top of my list.
@pizzareviewsonthego Elegante is damn good. I tried it next to Luigis 8 years ago and preferred Elegante. Luigis is hyped up now by Dave and other influencers. It's a great slice but I got virtually the same pizza at Brothers in Queens.
Oh I agree that the pizza has changed for the better overall here. In 95' the brick ovens were built, but we always had the coal ovens since the 1900s. You may have missed those places.

I usually find parking there pretty easily.

@jigsolanki2582 Portnoy only gave then a 7. Portnoy is a clown. The regular slice is a high 8 in my book.
Why the heck am I watching this at 9:40 in the morning? Now I’m starving 😂
Hah, It happens to me all the time.
You went all out and ordered the full set. Everything looked delicious. Hoping one day I can swing by there. Stay blessed
I believe they have about 6 locations the owners are very passionate with their products especially slick Freddie beautiful hair , great review I'm craving pizza now thanks Antonio.
Now I'm starving. Thanks, Antonio. I'm gonna go pick up a pizza. Great review as always!

indeed
Nothing like a good Brooklyn pizza place during the Christmas season, iI miss those days
Family owned and operated since the 60s. I should have mentioned that.
The trio seems to taste as good as it looks!
Great job Antonio. Thank you 😊
This place has gone viral. Did it live up to the hype?
They have lots of variety and they do it all very well. Definitely not your average pizzeria, it's above average, when it comes to classic Brooklyn/NY style pizzas.
It's an OG pizza place. Been open since the 60s. One of the best slices you will eat.
@pizzareviewsonthego Filomenas in the Bronx became a table service restaurant. Still amazing but no more slices. They sell by the pie only now and renamed themselves City Island Pizza Co.
This place sells gimmick pizza. Very untraditional. Far from the best pizza in BK. Their regular slice actually sucks
@@BenSea11 You should try Luigis in Park Slope or Amore in College Point Queens. Those two are super old school.
Great honest review that made me hungry 🍕👍👍
I am trying not to watch it again myself lol Or I'll get hungry for pizza.
Really enjoyed this review....thanks alot
Looks fire!
Those slices looked great, but that pinwheel looks incredible! Yeah, I can see it needing more sauce though.

I don't really go for specialty slices except for the white pies. Thanks for the comment!

Wish they could ship to those of us who have trouble getting around. I would love to try their pizza with caramelized onions on it.
Is that square pizza considered a Detroit style?
Sicilian style

All their pizza looks good. I wish they were 3k miles closer
It's the old school Brooklyn Pizza, and made with love.
Just Google for original neapolitan Pizza close to you and enjoy a Glass of limoncello as well.
I like your style. Incognito, quiet out the background sound. Polar opposite of barstool.

I know that a lot of pizzerias par-bake their Sicilian shells.
@ I am not a big fan of that, this pizza tasted like sawdust
Antonio was hungry!!! And all couldn't get another 15 seconds for the video :)😅
I try to keep them under 8 minutes.
All those slices looked good to me.
I had the regular slice from Krispy pizza last month in Brooklyn. I gave it a 7.8.
Yeah that's about right for thier regular slice.
Everybody knows the rules
What did that meal run you?
$25 dollars
You're good You! Do some more plz.....will be going to Krispy one day.....
Another one coming soon.
You should go to the Old bridge branch and taste the difference and the size per slice and give an honest judgment
I plan on it
Did a slice run a few years back went to Krispy DaVinci JV Elegante and Luigis in one day.
All way above average pizzerias
@pizzareviewsonthego lol Above average. Those are the best. If I had to recommend someone try NY pizza from out of town those would be on top of my list.
@@pizzareviewsonthego These places basically created the New York slice.
@@user-or6yn8pm3c Indeed, the classic gas oven NY slice. Places like Krispy, J&V, L&B, DaVinci, and more.

Old Bridge and Freehold NJ locations are excellent, but Deninos in Aberdeen beats em by a nose!!!
I heard there’s a Denino’s in Thousand Oaks California too
There's a Krispy Pizza I know in Old Bridge, NJ. I don't like pizza steaming hot though.... it burns the top of my mouth
They have a few locations.
yo JoJo!
next time you're in there order the meats lover one slice and you're full all day
Tommy tap 🙏
Had to sweet Ricotta honey roni.
When i was in america in 1992 the whole america had the same sauce for every pizza. It was tomato paste. Just sour uncooked discusting tomato paste

I went to the one in Old Bridge Nj. Plain pie. Wasn't good at all. I had high hopes, very bland tasting.
I plan to try that one soon. Hmm...interesting...
Not my favorite around that area
Perhaps try Apizza a few blocks up 13th ave.
@ that’s the one I’m talking about
They aite. Many better pies out there. Just another hype beast, band wagon, social media trend. 😑
Some have said what you say but they're definitely above average IMO. They were better than last time I visited.
