What’s up folks! Today we are breaking down the different holster attachments that we offer with our gear.
There are a lot of choices for owb holster attachments, and choosing which holster mounting option is best can be tricky.
In this video we go over the 4 holster mounting options we offer for our Outside the waistband Thunder holsters. Whether it’s a range rig, tactical holster, 3 gun competition holster , or uspsa competition holster , we have options for you.
The mounts we use are the

And our competition Drop/offset mount

We go over the finer details of each of these attachments such as how to use a tek lok, how each mount works, what accessories are needed, and cost involved with each system.

I’m looking for a holster for my Atlas and this was very helpful. Do you think you’ll make any holsters for the PDP?
We will. We’ve got a few other to work through first but the pdp is on the to-do list.
Great video on holster attachment options....but, seriously, what knife is that?!?!
Toor Knives made it, but unfortunately that model has been discontinued. Which sucks because it’s a handy little fixed blade.
How do you have an offset or drop with the tech lock?
does bourbon come with the d/o mount or is it optional item to purchase, haha, great video, looking at the drop/offset mount myself one day.
I mean, there is always the possibility I’ve spilled on it. But in general, the bourbon is sold separate.

What knife and knife sheath are you wearing
It is a discontinued knife from toor knives. It’s too bad they discontinued it because it’s a great little knife.
Are your holsters also blade tech compatible?
Depends on what you mean….tek lok and the new tek mount system are options available on our holsters.

It was made by Toor knives, though I believe this specific model is discontinued. It’s a handy little bugger though.

Will the tek lok clip work on a safariland holster?
Generally, no. Not without some sort of modification. The hole patterns are slightly different. Just enough to be a pain in the ass.

Sorry we do not support XD’s. We also don’t support hi points and for the same reasons.

@@natedog7543 2 main reasons:
1-The XD series of pistols have a well documented failure rate that is significantly higher than comparable guns from other manufacturers. This is the same reason we don’t support Olight weapon lights. We strive to provide high quality, lasting products that help our customers perform their best. We aren’t looking to just fleece any sucker that walks in the door. Springfield doesn’t seem to share that mentality.
2- Springfield has supported gun control measures within its own state, as long as they receive exemption or special treatment. I find it hard to support a gun company that doesn’t support gun owners rights.
We actually care about our customers. Not just about getting new customers. A good portion of our days are spent helping customers select the right gear, rather than whatever product the sales department is pushing that week. Which often means our nights are filled up with building holsters. We do this because we know how important it’s to have gear that works, whether in a match or in a self defense situation.
I’m certain that we could increase sale volumes by adding XD holsters. But it just doesn’t feel right to spend a bunch of time helping a customer select the right holster when we know full well that the gun itself isnt up to snuff.

Plastics from leather! Not smart just lazy I still use basket weave leather for 22 years in law enforcement. Looks neat. If my plastic ALS loop belt holder cracks then I'll try it. Lol.
