Just enough to kiss the strings
Hello Ben. I'm buying me the Cordoba Mini M that I watched you Demo on. Then I want to follow and learn from you. I've always liked Flamenco and Latin music. I remember a song called Granada sung by Trini Lopez back in the 60s. The guitar strum is so tight, it plucks the strings of my heart. I look forward to following and learning from you. Kiaora (greetings) Ben.
He passed away...like one and a hakf years ago.
Hi Ben, I'm shopping for a cutaway flamenco guitar. I"m leaning towards the Cordoba 45FCE cutaway. would this be a good choice? thx for your advice Erdinç
He has his ortega signature guitar maybe look into that too
My God! 😍

When I watch your videos, I always wonder if your right hand hurts. Especially, is the thumb nail not painful? Most of electric guitar players use picks made of polymer material, except of Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler and etc, as you Know. I think your playing style is interesting because you play many hard rock songs by using flamenco guitar techniques.
My right hand and thumb never hurts. I use nail glue on some of my fingernails to reenforce them,
Thank you for answer. I understand your right hand and nails.
😘😘😘😘😘
ok got it...just basics ..up to next video maybe painting is more my thing...
🙏🌹🌙
it is a reupload ;/
Is flamenco considered a subgenre of folk rock?
Not at all
@@lf6352 then what could it be?
@@marvinthemaniac7698 rock wasn't even a thing when flamenco was "invented". I'm quoting it because flamenco was originated in Spain around the 18th-19th centuries as a consequence of a mixture between Muslim, Jewish and Christian cultures and many other ethnicities in southern Spain. It has nothing to do with rock music, which originates from blues, which at the same time originates from the music sang by the African slaves in the United States.
Why would you think flamenco has anything to do with rock anyway? I'm genuinely curious.
Apart from that, it's not a folkloric music either although it is highly influenced by Spanish traditional music. Flamenco is a genre of music itself.
@@lf6352 it's fast paced just like rock music, that's why.
@@marvinthemaniac7698 there are many fast paced genres which aren't related to rock either.
However, flamenco has many subgenres (called "palos") that are slow paced, such as soleá, malagueña, granaína, taranto, martinete... Maybe you haven't heard much about flamenco. Search for stuff in Spanish, not in English.
Here is an example of a soleá.
ruclips.net/video/U9iw1gMVoO0/видео.html
If you wanna check out some fast paced genres, search for "bulerías" or "bulerías Paco de Lucía". Best wishes
THAT is the roots of rock guitar.
After this you must watch my parody of flamenco guitar lessons "HÅKAN WIKELL Guitar lesson Technique Basic Spanish Flamenco"
Which guitar is this is it the gk studio?
Yes, GK Studio, my favorite of the entire Cordoba line.
@@BenjaminWoods yeah I love mine I tried the negra and also the pro nice but but I love my gk studio as well you should do more videos with it. Do some bulerias, solea ect so more rumba stuff but over all I'm a big fan.
RIP Ben
e essa cabeleira?
Great hair! hehehe
For me you are more cool with that long hair,,,nuce sir
I didn't recognise...
You wanna get fast and really shred? Learn flamenco and classical guitar formally for at least 5-8 years. No joking.
Wtf...
I can barely play metal arpeggios
That's it, I'm bad at guitar
Where is the funny comments go?
А слабо сыграть Дидюлю )))
Player 1 died !
That hairstyle....)))
Every good guitarist has a long hair phase
Basic give up Guitar techniques

Great guitarist but promoting the wrong guitars, these things are crap made in china and they dont last, they fall apart and are over priced.
Excellent.
