This was a first take, live with a metronome. Testing out the acoustics of this room I want to shoot more in this year. Please let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching and Please subscribe. -Ben
we never get tired of your music!
The acoustic is good in your room, just the right amount of float, also the light is beautiful
the acoustic in the room is spot on, would love to see more videos from this room.
This definitely sounds very good, but personally I would place mic a bit closer. In fact, I would probable put two mics, one small diaphragm that is closer, and one that is more distanced. The other one should be more quiet in the mix, and with it you can regulate amount of natural reverb.
Great piece! Funny question.. what metronome is that? I like the analog and small size.
Beautiful 😻 RIP 🪦 brother 🙏🏼
Thanks for all the beautiful music you share with this world 🙌Rest in peace dear 🌹
R.I.P Dostum Gerçek bir yetenektin bana göre
Ben, as always I’m truly amazed by your performance, your drummer is also spot on, couldn’t be tighter. Thanks!
This was the first piece I learnt from you….
RIP Ben.
I consider the Cordoba version of this song one of my favorite songs of all time. Stoked to hear it fully transcribed! Amazing work.
This was is a stunning composition, executed with absolute precision and the inclusion of the metronome was genius, the constant ticking lending a contemplative mood that signifies the relentless moving of time and events, passing whether we like it or not. Gorgeous layering and crisp tones carry you along, not a wasted second nor a frivolous note, everything cohesive an expressive, loved it! Despite being a beautiful room, I found the acoustics a bit bathroomy, sorry Ben, unless that's what you were aiming for? Gotta say, I really liked the Malaguena mic set up. 😎
Lovely. There were a few times I was thinking you were transitioning into "Dust in the Wind".
R.I.P sir
I am impressed. Thank you!!
Le meilleur!! RIP ben 😢
Just brilliant!!! 🔥🔥🔥👍 I wish I could play like that! 🙏🔥👍
Your getting deeper and deeper into the pure gypsy sound. This sound is fantastic, since very few of us can create the right rhythm match connection.
This is my favorite piece of all time
Hey, great playing. I’m no expert but I thought there was an ever so slight tin sound while doing the runs and fills. I listened while wearing my Bose sport earbuds. Could be the RUclips sound compression. Anyway, nice piece. Very enjoyable to listen to.
I wish I could 'like' this every time I came to watch it again: so inspirational!
Thank you Ben.
Love your plants too 🥂
Favorite BW original
The room sounds great: wet without being boomy. The piece is lovely and as usual, Ben, just a gorgeous performance, both tight with the metronome and expressive! Thank you!
Wow,wow, wow, well done our Ben !
Poeples pay you Ben wood
Que talento meu Deus simplesmente fantástico
Acoustics are fine to me...sounds natural...slight echo/delay...sounds great...sounds live...keep it up brother! and those "reverse sweeps"! what the!?!...fantastic!
RIP
Esoooooo! Rhythm is 100% spot on, man! Impressive! Hard work pays off 🙂
Another master piece, my favourite one
Dame.... Ben Wood Guitar!
I miss Ben
Classic piece as always love it
Sou fã incondicional sem palavras 👏👏👏
Superb
Amazing
Amazing sir
Donde voy, ? Voy al rio! Excellent sweet harmony, catchy melody , ever do any Rondeña? Keep up the good work
Beautiful
Well that was spot on ….loved the swept arpeggios! Never quite seen it like that in Flamenco styles, combination traditional flamenco arpeggio and modern sweep technique. Must have looked at your right hand technique for like 5 minutes…good show mate! P.S. the room sounds great as well.
C'est magnifique!!
Fantastica 🔥🔥🔥
😘🥰🥰🥰❤️
Beautifully playing as always 🥂
Me encantaaa
Que som adorável
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing performance as always. As for the room acoustics, I can't say that with certainty but I think I heard a slight echo in the middle frequencies. I could be totally wrong though. But if that's the case, then maybe repositioning the microphone slightly might improve acoustics (or make things worse...)
Señor Woods .. any plans for Touring this year (2022)? .. just wondering ..
BTW - beautiful room.
Sir I can play flamenco technique in classical guitar????
It works but different sound
You're missed Ben.
Can you tell us what guitar that one is
Thanks
♥♥♥
Your Cordoba recording of this is my all time favorite... it's got the absolute right mix of everything including percussion, vocals, so much feeling, effortlessness, and spontaneity. Really timeless performance for me. I always go back to that one: ruclips.net/video/DwmP6brFN7I/видео.html
gj brother
Cool ! Guitar model ?
The difference between a pro and amateur: one that can play with a metronome (in Compas) and barely notice it is on!
wich ortega guitar is this ?
how to do this strumming?
Those sweeps, wow so buitififully played, but I agree the acoustics sound a little bathroomy
Quelle est cette b guitare?
Hey Ben, it would be helpful if you put some fingerings in your notations. Especially for the right hand.
I never put the right hand fingers in my scores (I think fingerings are a personal approach). However, that's what the video is for, plus with YouTUbe we can slow down the video to inspect the fingerings. Faster this way than just reading off the page.
