The last time I felt this way was when my guitar teacher used to play when I was just a kid and I was in awe like it was magic. Since I've learned guitar and know it's all about practise and not so much magic (well maybe a little bit of magic), a lot doesn't impress me like it used to. This should have a billion views Lmao
@@asummersquash Nice, I still prefer this version even over the original.. Yet they're all great in their own rights. In my experience, music isn't about comparing one artist to the next, it's more about how any piece of music makes you feel on an individual level. Thanks for sharing and much love!

1st song on guitar I ever learned back in the 1950's after hearing Florian Zebach's 100-Pc. Orchestra play it on the radio while I pretended to be sick at home from 5th grade. If you ever get a chance to hear that... DO!! A few years ago I caught Pepe Romero play it on a stage with the Canadian Philharmonic in Dallas. And now, hearing you, I must say, as Howard Roberts would have most certainly decreed: "Strong!!" THANKS!! Extraordinary! Really!!

OnesComplement yeah I’m like WHY DIDNT YOU PLAY A A MINOR CHORD AT THE END
OnesComplement he uses mainly E major and F major
Ben, I've played guitar my whole life. This is the best video I've seen. Outstanding.
You should listen to Paco de Lucía
ruclips.net/video/xpRgR-tZEpk/видео.html this guy did an interpretation of the same piece and o think it is better than this one by a lot
Even the creator of this video leaves a comment saying so
@@asummersquash Nice, I still prefer this version even over the original.. Yet they're all great in their own rights. In my experience, music isn't about comparing one artist to the next, it's more about how any piece of music makes you feel on an individual level. Thanks for sharing and much love!
@@TheDaiusi F**ken ay well said mate.
WOW! I have Finally found this song that my father used to play self taught by ear!! ( He passed away 2007 ) I have been looking forever for the name of this and Loved it when he played it!! I Loved how it starts out slower and then speeds up!❤
I was just looking up different styles of spanish/latin music and this actually made me tear up. I play guitar and for me it is my favorite instrument. Gracias Spain for inventing such a beautiful instrument!!
R.I.P Ben Woods, thank you for all this amazing interpretation, I enjoyed every single one
This is probably the most faithful flemenco interpretation to the original on youtube. Gives master pianist a run for their money. Absolutely awesome.
This man is the Pathfinder of modern Flamenco world💪💪
ESPECTACULAR COVER!!!!!!
si señor ,esa guitarra cobra vida

GLAD TO KNOW I WASNT THE ONLY ONE HEARING IT!
I watched this at night. Upon waking up I couldn't find my guitar. Seems like it left home last night.
My piano student is playing an easy arrangement of this song, but I asked that he watch a Flamenco guitarist to hear the magic of this song. Love this arrangement and your playing is incredible. BRAVO!
I am Spanish, I have heard this song by great artists several times, but the quality of this man is simply inhuman, the best version so far.
keep on listening you can find better...
Metal: I invented shredding
Flamenco: Bruh
Beethoven*
Flamenco: Who am I to you?
This is not flamenco -_-
Baroque: Pardon me.
paganini
im still crying after his death. I cant believe it Ben. You were my best role model andd I always wanted to meet you but I never got the chance. I will miss you a lot. 😢🎸🙏
I played it over and over again..and I drifted away.. this fingerstyle is another dimension..it's amazing.
I am Spanish and those guitar notes touch my heart.
This video was the first one I saw on your channel, like three or four years ago, I was a beginner and during all this time I practised thinking one day I might play like you
RIP Ben, you were and you will stay my guitar figure, the guy who developped my passion for the flamenco guitar ❤
buen viaje amigo genial. y gracias.
I love the "Learn it here" in the descripcion, i mean, im human bro
@hans meier 00 minutos jb
RIP Maestro Ben Woods!
I dare you to play a harder song than this, it’s called “Chicken in the Corn.”
Ahhh another man of great quality
I see you are also a man of culture
Men of taste, i see
Huzza! A man of quality!
Pooh, great culture people
Doesn't the beginning sounds like the Russian "kalinka"? Check it))
it does XD
true was the same tho like kalinka XD
Yesss!!
Yep
Flaminka
This felt like magic, the exact feeling when I listened my teacher’s playing the first lesson 😁
Really!!
thank you Ben. my father would have loved your style and performance. as I do.
she has passion, she has a direction, she has depth, listening to her you can feel the level of professionalism, and delicacy, it's easy, to listen to a story of this interpreter without saying a single word... that's what you really look for in a musician.
People don't understand... it's takes a lot and a lot of time and dedication to master a musical instrument...Great piece of work ❤️
I'm pretty sure everyone understands this.
Day 2 of SimplyGuitar
Rest in peace, my brother... you will be missed.
Grazie maestro🙏😊
