I got these boots back when they released in that white/gold colorway and was so disappointed I sent them back the next day. If they had copa k-leather with a modern fit these would be an instant hit

I think these boots look absolutely sweet. However, I thought they felt so bulky and big. Hated the way they felt especially compared to mundials, premier 3, and mizunos.
They ARE bulky and big. I'm not sure I've ever seen an FG boot with a midfoot upper as thick as the Copa Icon. It has thickness like a sneaker.

Boot is purest form of ‘modern classic’ as a boot can get IMO!
Side note: if you get a colorway from the Japan blue forward, they actually took out some of the padding so the boot isn’t quite so THICC anymore!

I would go with the Mizuno Morelia Elite. The Mizunos are lighter, it's K leather, very comfortable, good outsole, good heel area, and the build quality is not far from the MIJ model.
