  • Online cognitive tests of memory, concentration and problem-solving revealed startling results. People with a history of concussion reported trouble concentrating and higher levels of anxiety and depression. Adrian Owen, PhD, is investigating this further to gain a better understanding of the long-term cognitive effects of concussion.
    Adrian Owen is a Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and a researcher with the Brain and Mind Institute.

    sadly i think it's more about events, remembering names and faces and changing behaviors. but since it happened when i was a teenager and growing up, my temperament was just part of my development...or at least i think it was.

    I have a theory, that through self awareness, you can manage, minimize or even largely avoid this deficit of inhibitory control. 🙏🙏🙏

    I have had at least 6 plus a 4 car pile up on the highway. Been hit the head with a baseball bat, slammed to the floor, years of hand to hand combat, and hit the head a lot. I have multiple issues. Stuttering, memory, anxiety, uncontrollable emotions...
