I have two favorite beaches. One is the island of Elba off the coast of Italy. It's incredible. As you travel around the island, it's actually like a hundred different beaches ranging from soft sand to rocky shores, to cliffsides. Everything looks like a post card. The other is a 2.5 hour drive from my house and has the best small town attached to it: Port Aransas, Texas. The locals are gritty and so much fun. We go year round because the weather here is so warm, but also, the town is so fun that it's ok if we don't even get to swim. My fave beachy scents are M. Micallef's Ylang in Gold and Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. I adore coconut in perfume!
I just repurchased BB Beach. I love the warm jasmine, sun, sand and light salty air. Yes it is strong, but so evocative of my SoCal summers in Oceanside. Been to many beaches around the world, lived in HI, but my heart's still with Oceanside. It really was an old fashioned sort of slightly gritty beach town with a military presence, but the vibe was amazing. Too bad that the city is trying to turn it into a high end resort destination. The coast is full of those without the salty soul that this town is losing.
Happy Saturday beautiful. I love the beach when I can sit on a lounger or something of that sort. Sand is like glitter to me. It never seems to go away. I’m still on the fence with Holidays. I honestly don’t know why.🤷🏽♀️ I feel the same with Beach Walk something just doesn’t work for me.

Clearwater Beach in Clearwater Florida!! That’s where I was born and raised and it’s one that makes like the top 3 beaches to visit with the sand feeling like baby powder 😊 absolutely beautiful
It gets mighty cold & dreary in the winter where I live. If I spray my BB Beach in January and close my eyes, I can hear the laughter of kids and the tinny music coming from a stereo speaker. It instantly transports me to the beach/swimming pool. 😎 This is my second summer working my way through a 10 ml travel spray of Holidays. It’s so strong I feel like. 4 oz. bottle could last me two lifetimes. 😂 Always love your lists Veronica!

I think Sunkissed Hibiscus is one of the most underrated beachy scents. I find it incredibly sexy and not really a "suntan" scent. One of my go tos. So creamy rich and tropical. Ugh I love it! 😊
Sandalsun is so pretty and perfect for this time of year. Moonlight In Heaven is not long lasting but it does the job for about 3-4 hours. I love to put it on top of a good moisturizer straight out of a shower. So blissful
I love that this is a more personal beach scent review versus a luxury type. These are the scents that are evocative of the scents we grew up with on our local beaches rather than destination beaches. Even if you grew up on Nantucket, Key West, in HI, most of our scent memories are quite different than someone who visits the destination. Up until the 80's coconut was not a scent we smelled at the beach in SoCal or even Hawaii. Hawaiian Tropic changed everything. As a small child the scents were Sea and Ski, Coppertone, salt air, jasmine and morning glories in California, ginger , pineapple, and plumeria in HI. I love that you included coffee in the morning amidst the salty foggy air when you all alone.

I live in the Southwest .Going to the beach is a real treat. I have family in Florida. Miami Beach is a fun place and going to the Keys was truly a sight to behold. I love the beach while I am there and soak it all in. After 10 days, I am ready for home....deserts and mountains.
My favorite beaches, for the water mostly, were on Grand Cayman Island. Fine sand and water so clear you could see to the bottom. From further away, it's the turquoise blue of tropical water. Gorgeous.
@@VeronicaSays Because we were diving, we stayed at Sunset House but we went to a luxe hotel to hear a steel drum band play. Looked boujee but I prefer a smaller, homier feeling. You can almost set your watch to the daily rain deluge. There were only a few cars on the island so make sure you book one beforehand.

My favorite beach is in Cancun Mexico. The Fiesta Americana Coral beach is divine. The “sand” is not sand. It’s coral. It’s like walking on a powdered marshmallow. Not powdery, ( I hate powder) just bouncy, soft delicious sand like material that is like heaven to walk on. Zero grit. Zero itching or bugs. I highly recommend Cancun and Fiesta Americana coral beach. I go every year and don’t want to go anywhere else. It’s the best of the best. They treat you like royalty there. Excellent service. I don't have many in this category but I do have Sandalsun which does give me that feeling. No coconut... However, the hazelnut changes and mixed with the vanilla it can make one believe it's in there. I think the fact it's an oil based perfume helps with the illusion. ✨ Thanks Veronica 💛🌺

Just got back from OBX. I took Coastal Carolina Southern Peach Tea, Accendis Luna Dulcius, Tiziana Terenzi Tabit and Vele, and Sol de Janeiro 40 Bom Dia body spray and lotion. I probably wore Luna Dulcius the most. I do not like sunscreen scents so I have to be careful with "beachy" perfumes, but Luna Dulcius is not sunscreeny even though it has some coconut. I love the Bom Dia but wish it lasted longer. I have spent a lot of time at beaches in RI in the cold weather and I'd love some wintertime beach perfumes, but I don't think I have any.

I live in Hawaii on the big island. We have great beaches and some don't have any sand. just a nice grassy area and lava rock. I usually wear coconut cove by Skylar or sunny side up by JHAG when I go to the beach. There is something about the dry woods in both fragrances that works really well in high humidity. P.s. Duran Duran, Save a Prayer. My 80s obsession!!

Grew up on the Jersey Shore. It is definitely my happy place even though I live on the opposite side of the country now, about 8 hours inland. Love the feel of sand between my toes, the smell and sounds of the ocean. Just bought At the Beach at BBW last week during the semi annual sale. Have the travel size of Beach Walk. Light Blue Intense. Olympia. Even though it’s more floral than salty, Philosophy Pure Grace Tropical Summer screams tropic’s beach to me when I wear it. Considering Ocean di Gioia as my next summer fragrance purchase.
All the way out in North Idaho. Gorgeous scenery but very landlocked. Going to the Washington coast this summer. Lovely, but no sink your feet in the white sand beaches there. Water is way too cold to swim in, too.
I live in San Diego, Ca. so I have to pick our local coastline as a favorite. We have nude/clothing optional beach called "Black's Beach" near La Jolla and it has 2,000 foot cliffs as the backdrop.. it's beautiful on summer days. But.. if I had to pick a different location, I would probably pick The Maldives for a "Beach Vacation". 🏝🏖

That usually resulted in a hideous sunburn and a week of misery.😳😂 I’ve gone to the beach in Guaymas, Mexico and the beach while I lived in Virginia Beach….. both in winter!😂 Loved the Clambars though 😊 I’m actually not a big outdoorsy person in general. I hate bugs, and am terrified of ‘uninvited’ wildlife guests! 😂I’m a bit of a disappointment to my camping loving family. Luckily, I live in Tucson, not generally considered a beach town!😂😂😂 Disaster averted…😂

I love going to the beach as long as it’s a quiet one🤩🤩. I also don’t like sand, it’s just too much of a hassle🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Holidays didn’t work out for me🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. My Harmaca decant is almost done and I also love Solar from Olympea🤩🤩.
In England we call it the seaside and it involves flasks of hot tea, windbreaks and sandwiches with actual sand in them. My favourite beaches in England are in Cornwall, Barrafundle Beach is the best in the UK and any beach on the island of Mallorca is a win for me with its pine woods and warm Mediterranean. The perfumes that suit these beaches are less tropical and more bracing or aromatic (for Spain), such as Aqua di Parma Colonia

I had to go and check what is the "Put the lime in the coconut" song was 🥥 😅 and I love it ❤ For Moonlight in Heaven, to my nose it's floral with a subtle unripened mango and watered coconut, and yes, it doesn't last at all, which is ok for this type of scent, but not for the price point.
Favourite beach is Cavendish Prince Edward Island Canada followed closely by Grace Bay Turks and Caicos and Saint Lucia 🌞 I have 2015 Bronze Goddess ( lovely! )and Bobbi Brown Beach which I don’t think I ever Wore 😜. Must dig it out and show it some love ! Keep this series coming V !! 🇨🇦
Never been to PEI, but they must have great beaches. Went to one in Nova Scotia (Bay of Fundy) and it was beautiful. I used to love going to Val Comeau Beach in NB when I lived somewhat close to it. Can't swim there, but the place is quiet and fun to walk.

I live in the Southwest .Going to the beach is a real treat. I have family in Florida. Miami Beach is a fun place and going to the Keys was truly a sight to behold. I love the beach while I am there and soak it all in. After 10 days, I am ready for home....deserts and mountains.

My favorite beaches, for the water mostly, were on Grand Cayman Island. Fine sand and water so clear you could see to the bottom. From further away, it's the turquoise blue of tropical water. Gorgeous.

@@VeronicaSays Because we were diving, we stayed at Sunset House but we went to a luxe hotel to hear a steel drum band play. Looked boujee but I prefer a smaller, homier feeling. You can almost set your watch to the daily rain deluge. There were only a few cars on the island so make sure you book one beforehand.

My favorite beach is in Cancun Mexico. The Fiesta Americana Coral beach is divine. The “sand” is not sand. It’s coral. It’s like walking on a powdered marshmallow. Not powdery, ( I hate powder) just bouncy, soft delicious sand like material that is like heaven to walk on. Zero grit. Zero itching or bugs. I highly recommend Cancun and Fiesta Americana coral beach. I go every year and don’t want to go anywhere else. It’s the best of the best. They treat you like royalty there. Excellent service. I don't have many in this category but I do have Sandalsun which does give me that feeling. No coconut... However, the hazelnut changes and mixed with the vanilla it can make one believe it's in there. I think the fact it's an oil based perfume helps with the illusion. ✨ Thanks Veronica 💛🌺

Just got back from OBX. I took Coastal Carolina Southern Peach Tea, Accendis Luna Dulcius, Tiziana Terenzi Tabit and Vele, and Sol de Janeiro 40 Bom Dia body spray and lotion. I probably wore Luna Dulcius the most. I do not like sunscreen scents so I have to be careful with "beachy" perfumes, but Luna Dulcius is not sunscreeny even though it has some coconut. I love the Bom Dia but wish it lasted longer. I have spent a lot of time at beaches in RI in the cold weather and I'd love some wintertime beach perfumes, but I don't think I have any.
ThatvElba experience sounds like a wonderful adventure. RI beaches in the fall and winter are so peaceful to walk along! Luna Dulcius is a gem! So feminine and pretty! I featured several of these fragrances in other recent summer videos - lovely choices. 💖🥰

I live in Hawaii on the big island. We have great beaches and some don't have any sand. just a nice grassy area and lava rock. I usually wear coconut cove by Skylar or sunny side up by JHAG when I go to the beach. There is something about the dry woods in both fragrances that works really well in high humidity.

Grew up on the Jersey Shore. It is definitely my happy place even though I live on the opposite side of the country now, about 8 hours inland. Love the feel of sand between my toes, the smell and sounds of the ocean. Just bought At the Beach at BBW last week during the semi annual sale. Have the travel size of Beach Walk. Light Blue Intense. Olympia. Even though it’s more floral than salty, Philosophy Pure Grace Tropical Summer screams tropic’s beach to me when I wear it. Considering Ocean di Gioia as my next summer fragrance purchase.

I live in San Diego, Ca. so I have to pick our local coastline as a favorite. We have nude/clothing optional beach called "Black's Beach" near La Jolla and it has 2,000 foot cliffs as the backdrop.. it's beautiful on summer days. But.. if I had to pick a different location, I would probably pick The Maldives for a "Beach Vacation". 🏝🏖

In England we call it the seaside and it involves flasks of hot tea, windbreaks and sandwiches with actual sand in them. My favourite beaches in England are in Cornwall, Barrafundle Beach is the best in the UK and any beach on the island of Mallorca is a win for me with its pine woods and warm Mediterranean. The perfumes that suit these beaches are less tropical and more bracing or aromatic (for Spain), such as Aqua di Parma Colonia

Never been to PEI, but they must have great beaches. Went to one in Nova Scotia (Bay of Fundy) and it was beautiful. I used to love going to Val Comeau Beach in NB when I lived somewhat close to it. Can't swim there, but the place is quiet and fun to walk.
