I'm done with bronze goddesss bc I realized the version I loved was 2012 with Tom Ford. Anyone remember?? There was an oil parfum version too that was soooo long lasting. Anyway I remember in the 90s when I was 12 or so I would spray my clothes and there would be stains all over my shirts. My dad said "stop spraying ur clothes " bc it was staining them. And I was wearing drug store stuff at 12. That's how beautiful and potent things were before 2001. I miss those days !!

Yessssss this video came at the perfect time, I'm just placing a Fragrancenet order looking for summer fragrances. Salt from Ellis Brooklyn was a surprise massive win for me. I bought a travel spray and once I sampled it a few times I was so sad I didn't spring for the full size, it is the perfect summer scent that isn't overly sweet or floral but still feels tropical in a way. It is also beast mode on my skin, it lasts through showers and sleeping lol.

Bronze Goddess always gets my vote. I’m glad I’m not the only person struggling with Amouage. I can’t say exactly why but what I think and what I get have been off too many times. Go figure?! Anyhoo, another great video with top notch descriptions that will ultimately harm my wallet. 😂

Gawd you're lovely. Those eyes! I'm not a beach kinda gal in any way; the only ones I've ever considered are Mancera Holidays and Tom Ford Soleil, and you and Julie both mentioned that the Jack Black one has better performance. I'll probably get the Tom Ford anyway because I can get if free at Shopper's Drug Mart. And I just love the Mancera/Montale scents. Awww, "just enough weirdness to make you like it."

Great video! I’ve saved your list to look back on as I continue to hunt for beachy fragrances! I recently purchased Beach Walk and Bronze Goddess EDP and I absolutely adore them both. The version I received of Bronze Goddess was a newer one as the bottle is different. I find this particular fragrance has more than one personality, depending on temperature. More floral when it’s cool, but the sunscreen smell really starts to stand out once you’re in a warmer environment. Do you find this with the 2017 version? By the way, your perfume wall is amazing! 🤩🙌🏼

At 8:40 I am going to get Mancera "Holidays" 🏝 soon.. it'll be my very first Mancera fragrance. Royalty Scents has a bunch of Mancera fragrances.. and I have "Roses Vanille" in my Queue. 😊

I wish I could love coconut fragrances but they tend to be sun tan lotion. The ones I do love are blended with a lot of other notes.
I have not tried any on this list, but there is a market for people who love beachy scents......then there I am wearing angel or salome 😳😳😆😆😆

Wow 🤩 This has been an amazing series! I’ll definitely be using these videos for reference from now on because I love these types of fragrances! I have tested a few of these before, so I looked back through my notes.. for Ellen Tracy bronze I had written “*exactly* like caramel apples” hehe ☺️ Now I want to retest it with the beachy theme in mind, and see what I think!
I had to look online to see which fragrance you meant, Beach hut man or Beach hut woman. All I have is a sample so I wasn’t familiar with the bottle.. I had ordered a sample of Beach hut woman a few months ago, and they sent me Beach hut man! Which I have to say is a very very weird fragrance, I got a lot of minty herbal vibes like pine tar Lol
When it comes to Holidays, I get the that same “simple” composition that I got from Hibiscus palm. I remember comparing that one to sugar water.. I didn’t mean that it’s watery, but that was the only liquid I could think of that is only one note, sweet! I am going to test those two together, and see how they compare. I need to train my nose to learn the little differences in notes. I’m still new to fragrance and learning as I go :) Channels like yours are my lifeline! Sorry my comments are always so Long! But I don’t have anyone in my life who is interested in perfume so I have no one to chat with about this stuff! 😆

Interesting! And yes I was talking about Beach Hut for women. Amouage, in general, I find to be really bizarre fragrances. Thanks for the great perfume chats! 🥰 my island is Grand Manan, 5 miles off the northeastern coast of Maine, but we belong to Canada even though we are actually closer to Maine. It’s a very small lobster fishing community, the island is 20 miles long by 10 miles wide, population 2500 and we have ferry service to the mainland. But I’ve lived here all my life, as did my parents and their parents and so on .. Lots of great beaches! (But no perfume stores 😢 hahah)
I like bronze goddess but I need a stronger copper tone smell. Lol which fragrance would you say is more coconut less floral?
Coppertone smell... have you tried Bobbi Brown Beach? It's the closest I know of. Coconut fragrances... although I sold it, you might be interested in Coconut Nanas. Or if you can find it, Physician's Formula Murumuru Butter fragrance. Harajuku Lovers Pop doesn't last long but smells like straight up Piña Colada! 💯👌🏼💖

Thank you! 💖💖💖 Definitely Beach Hut, Holidays, and Salt are the longest lasting in that order. Of these, Holidays is the most suntan lotion-ish.

I just got back from vacation in Texas & wore Bobbi Brown Beach every day, sprayed the entire bottle. It's pure sunscreen at the ocean beach but sadly performed terrible. Loved the scent but wouldn't repurchase
Oh same here. I owned that one and got through about half the bottle and had to give it away. It was nice but gave me a headache. Thanks for watching!!

@@VeronicaSays no I have never smelled the yellow one I'm going to have to get my hand I want to give it a sniff they're fragrances last a very long time in their sunscreen that's why I love them so much plus I do a great job and I'm glad that they haven't changed their formula with the fragrance
My absolute favorite perfume is omnia paraiba by bvlgari. Its getting harder to find so i wish i knew of other perfumes that are similar. Any suggestions???

Why can’t someone just make a Fragrance that smells like Bain de Soleil, the old orange jelly-like suntan lotion? That smells beautiful and I’m sure a lot of people would go for it

It's very suntan lotion-esque. Doesn't have the creaminess I would like, but it's decent. Worth a sniff. I don't like the bottle.
Have you decluttered 1/2 of the fragrances in this video? I think once you own TF "Soliel Blanc" you can get rid of 1/2 of the other "tropical" or "coconut suntan" fragrances. 😅
