as a 40 yr resident of Hawaii, tropical beach scents i've loved are TF Soleil Blanc, Sylvaine Delacourte's Vahina (vanilla, orange blossom, tonka, neroli, petit grain, mandarin) and Vanori (frangipani, vanilla, honey, grapefruit), and beautiful Monoi Tiare Tahiti, the original Tahitian Cononut oil fragranced with a tiare flower to slather on your body and hair (available in CVS)...ah Summer in the tropics...

I enjoy the smell of some of the suntan lotions I used to wear as a kid and love coconutty scents. This is a great collection of scents I would love to explore which I haven't yet. That paula ibiza sounds unique but not so beachy from what you are saying about it.
I love beachy fragrances, I had Bronze Goddess for years, this summer I'll buy the Replica - Beach Walk. I just bought another bottle of Vanilla Vibes, which is my favorite summer scent. I am going to get Nateeva Jamaica next month and I think I might go for a decant of Creed VIW for the really hot days. I don’t think I’ll wear it enough to get a full bottle but just for when I’m in the mood!

Nice list.. for other beachy scents, I would add Pleasures Aqua by Estée Lauder, Monoi (Rag & Bone) and TF Solei Blanc. I have and love LV City of Starts and On the Beach. I also have Bronze Goddess the original and the new one (Nuit) along with Creed's Virgin Island Water.

Conclusion by that I ordered the Mancera Holidays to acheve the Tropical coconut suntan lotion vibe plus Nishane Fan your flames to bring the edge boozines with white rom. I hope those together could get the summer coctail when layered together! Remember: Life is beach and then you die! ⛱️
I really enjoy beachy fragrances during the summer. I used up Beach Walk. I’ll probably replace it sooner or later. I still have BBW Oahu Coconut Sunset, Bobbi Brown Beach est Ocean Mist & Coconut Water, Dior Dune (vintage), Proenza Schoeler Arizona, and a couple others. These sound wonderful!
You're so right about Virgin Island Water being layerable. I've found that it layers well with fragrances that are either straight forward shrubby (Bergamot 22 works), or flower like MFK L'Homme a La Rose, or fragrances that add a character to it like you note with Aventus, or how Parfums Vintage makes a pre-blend with MFK BR 540 (you can just do it with the originals). Or you can add the mineral aspect to it with Millesime Imperial, or you can add more awesome lime to it with Tommy Bahamma St Barts. It's kind of the funnest and greatest thing about having VIW, and other shrubby/floral/mineral/citrus/coconut/etc fragrances that lend well to being able to mix in the summer.
It's got that thinness it layers so well when fragrances have that. I'm actually going to try it a Molecule scent like Molecule 01 + Mandarin. Or even the Molecule 01 + Patchouli or Iris even. Those should layer so well!!
I smelled the City of Stars and it’s great, but for me, that the longevity is not there like that of the Sun Song. My first sniff of City of Stars was lemons and lime, but in a few mins it softened and was no longer pungent to me.
Sebastian I like your voice. I just watched your review of Cow and now this one right after it. The difference is huge. This video is much easier to listen to. It's the speed. When you try to press as much info as possible in a video it's really hard to stay focussed. This slower pace is really nice!! I wish you'd speak slower in all your videos instead of racing and rambling! ♥

Love the smell of the beach but never though bout wearing a scent that smells like the beach. Closest I come are marine scents. I know many love Virgin Island Water so I'll hope to try this soon. Either way though enjoyed your video. Keep em coming.
As soon as I smelled City of Stars, memories of California came to me. It reminds me of being on the beach and the smell of Sun screen lotion and ocean waves.
My beach type favorite is one by Avon 🤣 Is called Instant Vacation (coconut, vanilla and sunblock) when they were going to discontinue it, got 5 bottles, I have 2 left. I like Salt by Ellis Brooklyn, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc , and Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess (any version).
OOh Avon. Got to figure out how to get the Avons. I do have Vacation for sure. I'm saving it for another themed video in the future. It features a prominent note and got to finally cover that note! :) But also I have to try that Salt.
This is one of my favorite scent profiles (together with tropical florals) so my suggestions could go under either video: Sun goddess musicology Bain de midi maison matin (same people as memo paris and very reasonably priced!) Solar bloom clean reserve Hili widian Vanilla vibes JHAG Hibiscus Palm aerin Tamarindo memo paris I pretty much have bought or tried everything you’ve ever suggested in these videos! Expect for maybe sex and the sea, still working up the courage for that one 😉 very eager to try LV city of stars but not so easy where I am.

There's not enuff videos on these made by people And the few that there is I dont agree with the person's lineup. Thank u ..looking forward to trying some of these ..so with a list this helps me out. I love the scent of suntan lotion (a good brand's like lancaster) however ironically I literally hate the Monoi by Yves Rocher type of fragrances... I need to find something with the smell of suntan lotion without the sweetness of coconut and that Monoi smell... Any suggestions? (I have beach walk by replica i know its coconutty and sticky sweet but cuz its not summer yet, im not wearing it) what about terracotta by guerlain Sebastian?
I’m the same! have tropical & coconuty notes. Try SUN by Jil Sander (also has body lotion with same smell) - very affordable option, and TF Soleil Blanc - pricey option.
I agree on the name switch on LV. Love Bronze Goddess and its use in cosmetics. Very curious on Virgin Island waters. Gonna try layering with Aventus. The creaminess reminds me of Piña Colada! 🏖 a suggestion - Sud Pacifique has good Beachy stuff

Thank you for saying that, “bed fragrances!” I’m not crazy after all. I seriously thought I was the only one who wore a fragrance to bed lol. I wear Aventus, or sometimes a soapy clean fragrance lately it’s been Burberry Summer, CK1, or Prada Luna Rosa Sport. I ordered Coco Moon EDP Beach Geeza and waiting for it to get here. Great video, Sebastian! I discovered LV On the Beach last summer, and really love it! I need to get a refill on my bottle now. I just bought City of Stars, and I think it’s great, too! Totally agree with you that the names of those two scents should be reversed! I live in Texas, not near a beach, but love these scents in the hot summer weather, which we have for at least six months of the year.

I think yes, definitely what you wrote above. I didn't like it when I first sampled back in the early 2010s as it was more marine to me. But Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt does the job for me! :)

Hello, Have you tried Ça boum from Téo Cabanel ? It’s a salted and solar vanilla with a bunch of white flowers. I find it very unique and likable. Oh and sadly, Coconut fizz is discontinued by Guerlain but it’s still possible to find it (at least in France).
MMM Replica Beach Walk doesn't smell that much like a walk on the beach to me. There is a plasticky accord that smell like a plastic beach ball or something. Was that intentional?
Love coincidences. About an hour ago I finally ordered Hibiscus Palm after wanting it for ages. Usually don't blind buy, I'm making an exception. Jus de Rose insists that adding a spritz of Vanilla Vibes is the ultimate in all things beach.
@@goldeneagle329 I watched Jus de Rose’s video on hibiscus palm and tried it when I went to buy a different Aerin perfume for my best friend’s birthday. I found it more perfumey/make up-y, almost very mature old lady smelling, at least to my nose. Way more flowery, less beachy than I expected. I did not get to smell it with the Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes Jus recommended (that one I do like even on it’s own), so I haven’t completely written it off but I was glad at this point I didn’t blind buy it. Personally, I would like to do the sampling together before buying it. I did try the City of Stars two weeks ago in the boutique and it is great! I will be adding that one to my collection.
I enjoy Lorenzo Villoresi Florence Mare Nostrum and Iperborea. Both are EDT’s. Also, for an oldie but goodie, Bobbi Brown’s Beach. Also. Il PROFVMO Aria di Mare Eau de Parfum. Thank you for the enjoyable beachy video.
I love your feedback and experience with the colognes. Been a viewer/subscriber for almost a year. But just received City of Stars from LV. Very disappointed on the scent. Focused more on the female audience and to be honest - if I walked into a senior center downtown L.A., I would imagine this would be the scent Dolores would be wearing to try and rally up the men. Strong pass for me as California Dream/Afternoon Swim is geared towards to the beach scent for me. But please continue the videos. All the best!

I like SATS but it's certainly very warm and a bit dark lightly animalic. There is a neroli version of it but I prefer the OG even though I really love Neroli!

I agree on the name switch on LV. Love Bronze Goddess and its use in cosmetics. Very curious on Virgin Island waters. Gonna try layering with Aventus. The creaminess reminds me of Piña Colada! 🏖 a suggestion - Sud Pacifique has good Beachy stuff

Hi Sebastian. I'm a big of Beach fragrances. You should to know a beach fragrance called Bossa from the Brazilian house Granado and created by Cecile Zarokian. Gorgeous fragrance. Has a amazing coconut.
I've just sold Bronze Goddess, I loved it when I bought it, but it's just too sweet for me now for hot weather. So I will be checking out your other recommendations with Tiare, thanks Sebastian!

Thank you for saying that, “bed fragrances!” I’m not crazy after all. I seriously thought I was the only one who wore a fragrance to bed lol. I wear Aventus, or sometimes a soapy clean fragrance lately it’s been Burberry Summer, CK1, or Prada Luna Rosa Sport. I ordered Coco Moon EDP Beach Geeza and waiting for it to get here. I may wear that instead if it’s as good as I’m hoping it is. Thanks for the videos. Love the content.

Totally agree with you that the names of those two scents should be reversed! I live in Texas, not near a beach, but love these scents in the hot summer weather, which we have for at least six months of the year.
I wonder if the Loewe is what I was hoping Cactus Garden would be?? Green & tropical…..I vacation in Mexico every year & I’m obsessed with cactus plants. The LV was unique, but not exactly what I wanted.

I think yes, definitely what you wrote above. I didn't like it when I first sampled back in the early 2010s as it was more marine to me. But Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt does the job for me! :)

Bvlgari Aqva Marine is my favorite beachy fragrance. I also think Escada Moon Sparkle for Men is beachy, even though it doesn’t have any beachy notes.

Have you tried Ça boum from Téo Cabanel ? It’s a salted and solar vanilla with a bunch of white flowers. I find it very unique and likable.
Oh and sadly, Coconut fizz is discontinued by Guerlain but it’s still possible to find it (at least in France).

MMM Replica Beach Walk doesn't smell that much like a walk on the beach to me. There is a plasticky accord that smell like a plastic beach ball or something. Was that intentional?
Everyone's nose is different we do tend to smell things differently. :)
Aerin Lauder’s Hibiscus Palm is a Beachy Love for me. Also one of the colognes they do, Linen Rose, gives me a beach rose vibe. So yummy 🏖🌹

Love coincidences. About an hour ago I finally ordered Hibiscus Palm after wanting it for ages. Usually don't blind buy, I'm making an exception. Jus de Rose insists that adding a spritz of Vanilla Vibes is the ultimate in all things beach.

@@goldeneagle329 I watched Jus de Rose’s video on hibiscus palm and tried it when I went to buy a different Aerin perfume for my best friend’s birthday. I found it more perfumey/make up-y, almost very mature old lady smelling, at least to my nose. Way more flowery, less beachy than I expected. I did not get to smell it with the Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes Jus recommended (that one I do like even on it’s own), so I haven’t completely written it off but I was glad at this point I didn’t blind buy it. Personally, I would like to do the sampling together before buying it. I did try the City of Stars two weeks ago in the boutique and it is great! I will be adding that one to my collection.
My favorite sorta beachy scent (thats also not very expensive) is Jennifer Aniston's Beachscape!

I love your feedback and experience with the colognes. Been a viewer/subscriber for almost a year. But just received City of Stars from LV. Very disappointed on the scent. Focused more on the female audience and to be honest - if I walked into a senior center downtown L.A., I would imagine this would be the scent Dolores would be wearing to try and rally up the men. Strong pass for me as California Dream/Afternoon Swim is geared towards to the beach scent for me. But please continue the videos. All the best!

I like SATS but it's certainly very warm and a bit dark lightly animalic. There is a neroli version of it but I prefer the OG even though I really love Neroli!
