Just got one for a great price on eBay. They've updated the color of the tubes. They used to be blue so glad they've decided to use green for better visibility.
The watches they actually created with a former navy seal in the 90s are a completely different watch. Stainless steel, rugged, screw down crown and case back. These new models that came after about 2005 are complete garbage. Basically “tacticool” looking pieces
Great review,
I own 3081 in all black. Absolutely love it. However, I did shorten the rubber band for comfort.
Thanks Ernest!

Good to know! Hope you enjoy it.
Just got it for 125 on an Ebay bid 👍
Good stuff! Enjoy it.
Good honest review. Does it have a screw down crown?
Thank you! Much appreciated. And to be honest I can't remember. I feel like I would have mentioned it though, so I don't think so, but don't quote me.
These do not have screw down crowns
:( they are good for diving I’ve taken one down to 40ft it didn’t leak
Smith and Wesson tritium is much better than luminox and for 50 dollars in ebay brand new.. luminox is just marketing
Navy Seals do not wear this brand of watch. WARNING: they leak in the shower.
Take that up with Luminox. I didn't make up the "Navy Seal" thing - that's literally how the watch is marketed.
@@ShouldITimeThis Disingenuous on many levels.

Luminox customer service is a joke! Impossible to get ahold of anyone at Luminox. They won't even return emails.
you are absolutly correct steve! iv'e tried 6 times now!
Just picked it up at Costco for $180
WOW! Good find Emmanuel!
The band of mine broke like potato chips.
Wow that's odd.. Did they replace it for you?
@@ShouldITimeThis No & they wanted to charge about USD43. Bought an aftermarket silicon band.
@@jamesfok157 Geeze, that's ridiculous. Sorry to hear that James.
@@ShouldITimeThis it’s ok. Anyway I like my silicon band with deployment clasp. So much easier & faster to put on & remove. And cheaper.
